Arrived early, reviewed and quickly assessed what needed to be done, provided me a fair price and began work immediately thereafter. Very professional and quality work. Will definitely use again in the future.

After calling Itz Done, they came out the next day to give me an estimate on the work. The price was on the high end, but the gentlemen that came out to do the estimate was extremely intelligent and I trusted he knew what he was doing.
The following week they sent a guy out to start the work. He was supposed to skim coat the entire ceiling, but when I went to see how the work was going, he was only patching the areas that were rough from the scraping. After mudding the ceiling, he put primer on the walls and left for the day. He didn't come close to covering the entire walls with primer, but I figured I would see how things went the next day.
The next day the gentlemen started sanding the ceilings, painted them, and painted the walls. My wife called me home in a panic because it looked horrible. Upon inspection, there were large paint runs all over the walls, the ceilings were not sanded down properly, and there was paint all over our trim. I immediately called the office and told them what was going on. They sent the gentlemen back out to fix the paint runs, which he blamed on the humidity. We provided photos to the owner for him to look over because we were worried about the quality of work being completed.
The following week the owner and the gentlemen that was doing the work returned to our home to look over everything. The owner instructed him that the current job was unacceptable and that he needed to go back over everything. The evening when I returned home to see the progress that had been made, it actually looked worse than it did the day before. We contacted the office once more and told them we did not want that gentlemen returning to our home to finish the work and we just wanted to pay them what we owed them at that point. We were contacted back a little later with an offer for the owner to come out and do the work personally over the week end, which was perfectly fine with us.
The owner did show up over the week end and completed the work, but it was still rough. The ceilings were still not properly sanded and mudded, and the walls were mediocre at best. They went through 2 gallons of paint and a gallon and a half of ceiling paint overall, that I had to provide and worst of all they didn't clean up after themselves. I give the owner credit, the man worked is tail off and tried to make it right, but I believe they just don't posses the skills to do the job correctly. My wife and I just wanted it to be over with so we paid them and found someone else to do the work. The new guy had the ceilings looking perfectly smooth after the first day of being there, patched some additional rough spots on the walls, and sanded down all of the paint that Itz Done had painted, repainted the walls, and repainted the trim, all for half the price that Itz Done charged (and yes he's insured, bonded, and licensed).
Tough lesson learned but we've found our go to guy now. Itz Done may be better for simpler jobs, like changing light bulbs, but wouldn't suggest hiring them for anything that requires a good amount of labor.

They were good. They were nice and very presentable. They were dressed for working but they weren't sloppy. They were young, but everybody seems young to me as I get older. They did a fantastic job.

They were in and out.  They did a fairly good job for a fairly good price.  They cleaned up after themselves real well and didn't leave a whole big mess.  They were super fast.  Their price was very competitive.

Performed the work in about an hour.  They had to take storm windows off to do this so the charge was very reasonable.

The workman added vent seals on the 5 PVC pipe vents on our roof. This involved climbing on the roof (and to the best of my knowledge) sliding the seals over the pipes, and perhaps fastening them to the roof. I can't be sure of that, I didn't watch him. My wife told me the workman was at the site for less than an hour, and part of that time was spent replacing and painting a sill nose on a ground-floor window. I guess I didn't realize the extent of the work involved, because the price quoted for the vent seal replacement ($320) seemed like it would involve quite a bit of effort. Obviously it didn't. The House Doctor told me the cost was so high because he had to pay the extra Workmen's Comp premium while the guy was on the roof. When I suggested later that he'd overcharged, his office staff offered me a discount--$5! I took it, and decided to look elsewhere for handymen from then on.
Response from Itz Done Service
"I am sorry that the customer was not satisfied with the amount charged for the replacement of the sanitary vent boots on his house. He was charged $320 to replace 5 boots on a steep roof. The material cost was $100 and the workers comp insurance was $75 and he was given a $30 reduction, not $5.00. That only left $115 for labor and overhead. The customer could have shopped around for a lower price. We gave him a written quote prior to starting the job. We gave him a courtesy $30 discount that we were not obligated to give. I am very sorry that a relationship that lasted over 3 years and over $3500 ended this way."

I've used them several times and I think that they've always been good and their price seems good. The guy that comes out is always really friendly and helpful when discussing whatever the job is. I don't know how Lowe's or their price is compared to other people that provide the same service because I'm not a really big shopper on price, but anything I've had priced by them strike me as being low priced because I expect it to be higher. It's the same guy that always comes out, and he seems very smart and very helpful to propose the solution to get the job done right.

The company did what they were paid to do at a fair price. There communication skills of explaining what they were going to do and providing status of the ongoing extermination were poor. If their customer relationship skills would not have been lacking I would have given them an "A" rating.

Request for estimate was granted quickly. Estimator was prompt and prices were reasonable.  The estimator looked at the closets where the bifold doors would be installed and he looked at the bifold doors which were in a different room.  I told him that some of the parts were probably missing and that some of the doors may need new hardware.
A fews days later, a worker arrived to complete  3 projects. He was polite.
1. He installed a medicine cabinet in a bathroom. Installation of main cabinet was fine.  Did not put in sliding mirror doors for medicine cabinet because he said they didn't fit and he showed me how they did not fit. After he left, I reversed the top and bottom tracks on the cabinet and the sliding doors fit fine.
2. Attached an air duct extender to an air duct in our kitchen.  When I showed him the air duct, I mentioned that it would probably need some duct tape around the  area where the duct and extender connect.  He also cut a rectangular opening in a ceiling tile and attached a vent so that the air can flow into the kitchen.  After he left, I removed a ceiling tile and noticed that he had not put duct tape around the connection even though I had mentioned it. Since the duct and the extender are not the same size, air is also flowing into the area above the kitchen ceiling. My husband will have to install some duct tape to finish the job.  The part visible from the kitchen looks good.
3. Installed 4 bifold closet doors that another contractor had previously removed in order to refinish our floors.  There were 2 sets of doors in 2 bedrooms. During installation, he asked me if I had the pieces for the top of the bifold doors because some of them were missing.  I told him I did not have them.  He said that House Doctors had only told him to install new hardware on the bottom part of some of the doors. When he finished installing the doors, he mentioned that 2 of the doors did not close well because the carpet had been removed  making the doors lower which made the bottom of the doors bump into the molding.  I asked if he could put something under the metal part on the floor to raise the doors.  He did this for one door but said it would not work on the other one which I accepted, but felt that he should have been able to fix it.
A few days later, I decided to call back and ask them to provide hardware for the top part of the doors since we had paid to have the doors installed properly.  Receptionist said they would send someone out. The same worker came back promptly with some new parts for the 2 doors that were missing the top pieces.  After he left, I noticed that one of the doors makes a rattling noise when closing and that the part he used does not have a  plastic piece on the top, but the part he used for the other door does have a plastic piece at the top and it works fine.  My husband will have to go out and buy new hardware for the top of the doors.  We will also have to cut out a piece of the door that does not close properly so it will fit around the molding and close all the way.
I was not happy with the quality of the work and felt that the worker did not put forth enough effort to make sure things were done correctly. I do not like having to finish projects that I paid someone to do.

"I am sorry that the work was not done up to the customer's expectations. We were aware of the problem with the missing hardware for the bi-fold doors only and we sent the tech back promptly to correct that issue. An offer has been extended for the supervisor to come out and resolve any outstanding issues."

We wanted two tubular light pipes installed in the ceiling of our master bathroom suite, since there are no windows and it was like a tomb in there.  House doctors bought the pipes and installed them.  We're happy with the job they did.  Thanks, House Doctors!

Located House Doctor on Angie's List with good comments by previous clients.Call for estimate was answered promptly and appointment "arranged" working around my difficult work schedule. The estimator was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable of work needed (reducing immenslely my anticipated cost). The service tech, an employee not a subcontractor, was on time, called an hour before scheduled arrival to advise he was on his way, was experienced (over 20 years), professional, knowledgeable, courteous and diligent in his attention to the job being done. The cost was exactly the amount of the estimate,no surprises and was finished promptly, finished included clean-up, no mess.

An estimate was requested to: install customer purchased, vinyl floor tiles in the kitchen, dining area and laundry room; replace two doors (front and back) and to replace three (3) boards of the rear deck.  The initial estimate for all the work was about $1,700.00.  The gentlemen performing the estimate was on time and seemed very professional until I called requesting itemized details of all that was in the flooring estimate of $815.00 which included luan, a subflooring provided by House Doctors.  I was asked 'why it mattered since the price was all inclusive?' which I thought was condescending to say the least.  There was a timeline as my family and me were going out of town.  When asked if the dates provided, July 9-11, 2012, were going to be utilized meaning was the job going to take all three (3) days to complete, I was told by the owner and estimator 'it doesn't matter whether the technician assigned the job completed the work prior to the three (3) day period or beyond, the price is still the same.'  I was also told that some technicians work faster and some slower than others.  The technician assigned to complete the job was late but called to state he was on his way.  Upon arrival, he had a contract that I had to sign before he returned to wherever to retrieve the required materials before coming back to the house.  He returned after 11:30 a.m. to measure, cut, lay and nail the luan to the floor.  I left work early to interact with the technician to ensure the job requested was what was to be performed since the estimator and technician are two different people.   I asked the technician how long the job would take since he’d now seen what had to be done.  He told me “I have three (3) days to complete the job.” I asked how he was going to lay the luan and tiles under the hot water heater and was told that a plumber would have to move the hot water heater.   I had a 4:30 p.m. appointment and left around 4 p.m.  The technician left shortly after I did and stated that he’d return after his Tuesday morning appointment.  When he’d not arrived after 10 a.m., I texted him to ask when he’d be arriving.  I also expressed my concerns with the provided timeline of completion and how the quality of work may be affected by the lack of time spent on the job already.  I also asked that I be called on the office phone because cell phone reception isn’t good in building I work in.  He called and left a message on my cell phone that I didn’t get until much later because of the reception issue.  He said that I could move the refrigerator to the side where the tile was laid so that he could tile the area it was sitting on. My brother told me that the technician left after about 4 hours on day two of the job.  When I got to mom’s house, he’d laid most of the tiles with the edges remaining to be done.  When I moved the refrigerator, a small chunk of one of the tiles was lost.  On day three of the job, the technician returned to complete laying the tiles.  He’d picked up the doors on his way to the house.  He finally finished laying the tiles and stated that he couldn’t install the doors since it was raining.  When asked about repairing the chunk the tile from my moving the refrigerator,  my brother was told that he couldn’t do anything about it since I was the one who moved the refrigerator.  He told my brother that he’d return on Friday to complete the job.   When I called to schedule the work to be done, I told them at that time that my family and I were going out of town the weekend of July 13, 2012.  I called House Doctors to tell them of the most recent schedule change and to inquire just who they’d be sending to complete the job.  The receptionist was the only one available to speak with at that time and I tried to keep her out of the middle of it since my problem was with the estimator and the technician.    She listened, apologized and offered a $75 coupon for the services already rendered which was the flooring only.  I told her I’d get the money to her but would have to schedule it since I was working and getting ready to leave Friday morning.  She asked if I needed help moving the appliances on the deck, covered with tarps and getting pelted with rain.  I thanked her and told her ‘no.’ I wanted to know why the flooring where these appliances resided wasn’t done first.  I didn’t expect a response from her as she didn’t know.  I found the place, paid the $740 and left.  I don’t think the price for what was done was reasonable in the least.  I chose House Doctors because of the odd jobs for a handyman and the rating provided by Angie’s List.  I was sorely disappointed.
Response from Itz Done Service
"The customer was provided with an itemized quote for the jobs that she wanted to be done. We provide a fixed price to do the work and not a “time and materials” quote. Different technicians work at different speeds so with a fixed quote the customer knows up front what the job will cost. The cost is calculated based on standard rates and standard materials for that type of work. We were not being condescending by not breaking down the quote into “time and materials” we just do not do it that way. The customer paid less then the quoted amount for the work that was completed, she was given a $75 credit. The weather was a contributing factor to the working taking a bit longer then expected. We had a record breaking heat wave with 11 out 13 days above 100 degrees during that time. We try to keep to a tight schedule but sometimes the schedule slips and for that we are very sorry. The work was scheduled for 3 days, Monday thru Wednesday. The flooring was completed in that time frame but not the replacement of the doors. We offered to have the same technician complete the balance of the work on Friday or a different technician the following Monday. The customer chose to cancel the remaining work. The customer did not tell us that there time constraint due to a planned vacation. The customer received the contracted service she contracted for the contracted price."
