Description of Work: as with any carpet cleaner here in Alaska be prepared for the cost. |we have pets so have the carpet treated with scottsguard, which can double the price. also request two if you are wanting more then traffic areas cleaned. they performed a good job, just costly even with the special due to the extra treatment.

Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in entire condo including 2 bedrooms 20 stairs and living/dining. Our rental unit had not been well cared for by the prior tenant and our carpets needed help. I was afraid we might have to replace the carpet in the bedrooms. J&S looked it all over and told me that at least 90% of the grime would come out and gave me the option to continue or not. I was really amazed at how much gunk they were able to remove. At least I feel confident that a new tenant will be happy to move in to our clean condo. Whew!

Description of Work: We have used J&S Steamway for many years to clean wall to wall carpet, area rugs and specialty rugs. Their service has always been first class. They are punctual, explain what they are doing, point out potential problem areas and will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. They are one of the best cleaning services in Anchorage and are highly recommended.

Description of Work: Highly recommend this carpet cleaner. I almost cancelled my appointment after I found out that their cost per foot is higher than many others in Anchorage but so glad I didn't! I got the best deep cleaning I have ever had and my carpets now look years newer.

Description of Work: We had an 10' x 12' Flokati cleaned. It was filthy when it left and came back looking almost new. Price was higher than others but they did a nice job. The only issue was that we were told delivery would happen on a specific day and it turns out that's not a delivery day so we had to wait a few more days.

Description of Work: We just used them to do the coupon price of $99. We felt that they were quite expensive. But considering they provided a professional job, they probably were right in the ballpark of other companies.

Description of Work: J & S Steamway did an outstanding job. I have a large black dog and have had two dogs prior to my current one. My carpets are light colored and 18 years old. They need to be replaced, but I won't do it until my current dog is no longer with me. (I hope that's a long time!) Needless to say, my carpets were in bad shape. The technician was very thorough. My carpets looked much better than I had hoped they would. I am a fan!

Description of Work: We have used J&S Steamway to clean our carpet every year for the last 5 or 6 years. We had a small problem last year when part of the carpet did not dry completely in one room and there was some mold growth. I called them and they offered to come clean that section again but we were able to clean it ourselves and the mold didn't return. I really would've appreciated if they had given us some sort of refund, but it wasn't a deal breaker. That was the first time we'd ever had an issue and we plan on using them again. Besides last years' incident, I am always very pleased with how clean our carpet gets and the professionalism of the technicians.
