"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], We are very aware that undergoing a Mohs surgical procedure can be a very stressful event. We are constantly examining and honing these techniques to reduce patient anxiety while maximizing the cancer cure rates and minimizing the cosmetic effects of such removals. While I follow the most up-to-date "best practices" when it comes to these surgeries and their post-operative care periods, every patient's needs are different. I will take your narrative of your experience to heart and sincerely apologize that we did not live up to your expectations. I do not for a moment believe that your care is complete with just the removal of the cancer, so please realize that we remain available to you. Sincerely, Peter Ehrnstrom, MD"
She's very thorough. Very professional.
I highly recommend Dr. E, as do others I know with far more serious facial and other surgeries. I would have appreciated a heads-up about the slightly deviated septum that ensued from pulling tissue on one side of my nose-bridge/inner-eye area together to suture. Think Dr. E is very busy but he's also very forthcoming about any questions one has.
My only complaint would be with billing. They do bill insurance, however, don't work well with insurance that might need a little extra attention.
I would still go back and have seen Dr. Oreilly now for over a decade.
