He works on all sorts of cars, but specializes on Volkswagon's and Audi's. I take my car here for all types of service. He is very honest and is better than anyone else in town that I have found!

I have pretty much been their constant customer for any needs for my car for four years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Mr. Dave Zipperer is the owner. He is totally reasonable and honest. He goes out of his way to save your money. He is by far the best mechanic that I have ever dealt with.

I highly recommend him because he is the best mechanic I have ever had. He is extremely thorough, he explains everything that is happening, and he offers choices even when they are clearly not to his advantage. Everything that he does is done very well. I don’t shop around, I just accept his pricing. He’s flexible and he is always ready to look at my car when I get there. He is very customer-centered.

Overall it went well. I was able to get my car in the same week I called, dropped it off late evening and it was ready late the next morning. I have had my Jetta for over 9 years and aside from oil changes, this is the only place I bring it for service . In general, you can expect consistently good service, quality work, and a good price. The price for this job came in within quote/expectation as it always does. I would definitely recommend Courtesy Auto.

The service was performed in time and was exactly the price that was quoted. There was one additional part that was broken that needed to be replaced and Dave didn't have it in stock. We brought the car back when the part came in and it was replaced for the cost of only parts, no additional labor. Dave is always really good at fixing our car, but sometimes it seems like he is too busy to fit us in. I definitely recommend his services to anyone with a VW.

I was recommended to Courtesy Auto nine years ago when I first moved to Madison. Dave, the owner, never makes an unnecessary repair or hesitates to tell you what is best for your car. He is more like a caring physician than a mechanic.
