Harts Services

Initially it was good. They offered to replace my water heater in the middle of a snow storm. Other companies were not willing to do so. The technician was great and I really appreciated him for working through the winter storm. However, my problems with Harts Services began when I needed an itemized invoice. My home warranty requires an itemized invoice so they can reimburse me the cost of the repair work. Also, I was told by the technician that I would receive the work permit for the water heater installation... I have not received that work permit. I sent several emails to the manager, Jason Mahaffey, requesting an itemized invoice. Jason responded twice. I never received the itemized invoice and I was not able to receive full reimbursement of work I had done that evening. As I mentioned earlier, I have not received the work permit from Hart's Services for the new water heater. If you have a home warranty plan, I do not recommend this company. They are not willing to help out consumers like us in my experience. The technician that was at my home was the ONLY bright spot of my experience with Hart's Service. The front office customer service completely changed what could have been a positive experience into a very negative and financially expensive lesson for me.

They did a excellent job. I would use this contractor again.

I don't believe I have had any dealing with this company. No evidence of having any work done or having been billed for anything.

They did good work however they didn't pay for or pick up city building permit resulting in my having to pay for it (with penalties added) when the city says the contractor should pay for it and pick it up and get an inspection done.

i called them to have them come repair the heater that they were supposed to have already fixed for the prior owners as part of the purchase agreement.. They charged the prior owners 2500.00 and replaced a pump in the infloor heat system.... They promised to be out the next morning and then didn't bother to show up.... There customer service is absolutely abysmal. I ended up replacing another one of the pumps (168.00 and 30 minutes work) and 2 solenoids (51.00 each) myself... They charged 2500.00 for a repair that took me, a handyman at best, 30 minutes to repair.... No followup and WAY OVERPRICED makes them crooks in my book. I would give them zero stars if I could

Parts did not perform any service for us because their pricing on what I wanted to have done was $4,000 more than the company who performed the task which was Brennan

Really badly and overpriced, please shop around before hiring these guys. You can find better quality for much less the cost. The spent more time up selling their services than properly diagnosing and fixing the problem. Their inability to do so was confirmed by the next company that came in and fixed the damage they did.

The guy came out, was super friendly and helpful, and generated a bid for the work... and that's where it went wrong! The bid was 4700 dollars! I went to Lowe's the next day, bought all the parts for all 4 jobs he bid, and spent one day getting them all done using YouTube to instruct me. Total bill: 118 dollars. I'm not a plumber, but if Hart's can bill 1000 dollars an hour, maybe I should become one! What a rip off!

It went great. Andy scoped our septic and it was in good shape. However it did need to be pumped. He recommended a company and we called them and have an appointment to get that done.

The Hart plumber did connect the gas line to my BBQ but the side burner would only burn on low flame. He couldn’t figure out the problem and didn’t return to complete the job. Therefore, I hired a retired plumber and he solved the problem immediately. The orifice in the side burner was too small.

It went great. He was so professional yet still friendly and my bathtub drains so fast now. I was very happy with the service.

Their website lists Commercial kitchen plumbing and design, but they said it was too large of a job and could not work with me, only the owners whom tasked me with the project.

I had left this in draft review. They did an outstanding job installing a new sewer line for me back in 2018 for under 10 grand. I did LOTS AND LOTS of research and Harts is the best. I would not hesitate to hire them again as they did an OUTSTANDING job. I have had zero problems with my sewer over the past 5 years.
