Dee's Dog Grooming

The dogs seem relaxed and the snippy one is still not needing a muzzle after several trips- these people are great with dogs. They also train. On professionalism its a small staff and you can’t get someone right away many times- very old-school you call, leave message, they take paper checks (and cards), so thats a B. Price isn’t low, a B, but to my thinking they might be more, as they are very committed to dogs and a helpful recourse, so I tip.

Got a somewhat nasty Lhasa, and they get her done nicely but they cant clear anal gland and have to muzzle her. My old groomer Fido's dig better (but also had advantage of being her first groomer). I also have to use just one groomer and this restriction feels somewhat overblown, like they are doing my a favor for grooming the dog. No doubt the dog can be nasty at times, so concider the dog- it may not be a people or groomer problem at all. Tried another groomer for a while and they did better, but they had to let her rest. Eventually they got tired of that, and when they went faster, had to muzzle, and in the end not better. I would go back to Dee's and they are consistent! Still looking for a groomer who can get in good with my Lhasa like Fido's. In fact, at 9 yrs old maybe those days are gone.

I can not say enough about Dee's. Every staffer I have met are true sweethearts and you can tell without a doubt they love animals. I don't remember how long I have been taking my Havanese there (should have looked at my initial review) but makes no difference they are consistent and fabulous.

Linda takes care of Reggie and always tells him, and quot;mommy will be right backand quot;, reaches for him and says and quot;I'll give him some love before we startand quot; so I pass him off and he takes right to her because he knows. She cuddles him and when I pick him up he isn't frantic scratching me to death to get out of there. He looks like an ADORABLE 18 lb stuffed animal and is so happy because he knows how cute he looks.

Great. On time, great job, and my dog was happy when I picked her up.

Besides providing all the aforementioned services as part of a regular visit, everyone in the shop I have come in contact with has been very sweet and very loving to all the animals I witnessed interaction with. There were 2 additional things that impressed me so much so I will never take Reggie any other place.

1) Your dog is taken out to relieve itself

2) My dog would not come into the bathroom when I dry my hair. NOW, when I tell him I am going to dry it so he is warned, he not only comes into the bathroom but he lays down on the carpet next to my feet. I started raising the blower way above my head and gently moving it back and forth on low and he loves it!. He comes in every single time which is daily. I am still in shock over this and told Linda. She simply smiled and said and quot;we treat all of our pets with loving careand quot;.

They even get a treat.

Great place, love, love love it and especially Miss Linda as we call her.

They did a very good job grooming my 10 year old Miniature Schnauzer. We just moved to Spokane and I needed to find a new groomer in the area. They were very understanding of her age and gentle with their touch. We will be going back again.

The most important thing is that they treated my dog really well. He tends to get a little anxious when I'm not around but they gave him a few special privileges like not going into the waiting cages. They just kept him out and let him hang out with everybody. That was really important to me and he's not afraid of them. I've taken him to other groomers and he's been afraid of them so I know they are good to him. There is nothing I haven't liked about them. They are great, friendly and I usually don't have any trouble getting an appointment. I like to use the same person every time and I've never had to wait more than about three days for an appointment. Their price is right in there with everybody else.

Went well as she is a nervous dog outside the home and does not normally do will in strange settings. She did not show anxiety and the grooming was just as we asked. Overall a great experience.

I love the way they treat my dogs, they are wonderful with animals and I think they do a great work. I have a Bichon and they do a wonderful job with her.

It always goes great with Dee's.

I have used them for 10 years and we are extremely happy with them. They are great! Tracy is great. She comes out to the car to get them and will come back out with them. She is just excellent.
