Young man was neat, courteous, very helpful with answering questions, gave advice on gas fireplaces as well.

Work went fast and the tech was great.

It took a few calls back and forth to set up a time and then they had to reschedule at the last minute because the person wasn't available. But once the scheduling was taken care of, the service person was very prompt, professional and did the tune-up on my furnace satisfactorily.

I had called them and wrote them an email and no one ever got back to me. I was never able to utilize the deal.

One person came out for the service. He was very professional and honest about everything. He did not try to sell me anything extra and did exactly what I needed.

Bought a Angie's List deal. They didn't add any charges and did the service. Very communicative and easy to work with.

Frankly this doesn't make sense to me as I'm not certain why a tune-up and a diagnostic would cost 50. more. I've set the appt for them to do this work tomorrow. One side note: I purchased a tune up from this same company last year on my furnace for 59 and the whining noise coming from the fan started shortly after and has just gradually increased over time... So I wonder if the tune-up from last year was just a waste of my money...

They were good. They got the job done on time. They did what they promised.

It seemed like they came on time. They were quick and they did their service. They came out after we initially bought the deal. They came out when they were supposed to and on time. We've been happy with the furnace we bought from them.

It did not go well. After finding coupons from Universal Mechanical to service my furnace and air conditioner, I called them to find out whether the service they were offering would include testing to ensure that the duct valve on my "whole house venting system" (which circulates fresh air through my furnace into the house) was closing properly. I was told that they would ask their technician and get back to me. When I didn't receive a return call after several hours, I called them again and found out they forgot to ask the technician and that he'd since gone home for the day. I was then told that I'd have to buy the coupon package for them to give me an answer. Thinking that this would be a minimal charge (if any) I agreed and bought two coupons through Angie's list, provided them my contact info and entered three optional days for the service (over a span of three weeks). After waiting two more days I called again and learned that they don't contact people by email ( even though they offered it as a contact option). Moreover, they still didn't know what the additional cost (if any) would be for my service. I called a couple more times over the next couple of weeks (during their regular business hours) only to find out that everyone had gone home for the day. So, I left a message with their answering service for them to call me on my cell. They never called. So, after multiple phone calls over roughly a couple of weeks, I told their answering service to let them know that I wanted to cancel the service. They FINALLY called me the next day, and wanted to know if I would like to schedule the service! But of course, they still couldn't tell me how much it would cost to make sure my duct valve was functioning properly. So, I told them to cancel. In my opinion, the customer service provided by this company is among the worst I've ever experienced; it was very amateurish with abysmal follow-up and virtually no support. I would not use this company.

Everything that I had been on that turned out was been okay. I can't tell you very much about the people because it's been long ago. I've been satisfied with the work they did.

Professional, to the point and well worth the time.

Rhett investigated some suspicious noises, and reassured me they were likely nothing to worry about. Even measured the length of the intake and exhaust pipes, to confirm whether they were within specs or not. I felt that I should have received a discount because a replacement filter was supposed to be included, but he didn't have the required size. He said that was their policy--no discount allowed for that.

Rhett was punctual, professional and shared with me items to watch on our other equipment.

Very well. I was very pleased with the service. The provider was correct, the wrong fan had been installed plus the installation date did not match the year the fan was produced!

Would get an A rating except for efforts to sell additional services/parts that were only marginally justified. I understand the nature of the offering I responded to is to give the provider an opportunity to "discover" sales opportunities, but I react negatively to "invention" of those.

I was impressed with the way the company handled my last minute rescheduling requests, not once but twice. On the service appointment day, Rhett showed up in time, was very professional and completed is job in a short time.

They were great! They did a great job. They took the time to explain something to me about the connections in the furnace and I appreciated that. My interaction with the provider was good. The work that they did turned out great. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

They did work on my furnace and I had them do my rental also. I really liked the technician. He was very friendly, spoke very good English, and answered my questions. He encountered a problem with my furnace and he took care of it right there. He let me know what was going on. He even emailed me a detailed report after the work was done. They didn't even charge me anything extra for the little problem he was able to correct.

They were on time and they knew what they were doing. They were very knowledgeable. But they weren’t very clean I ended up wiping down stuff after they were done with the work since the workers hands were pretty stuffed. Since it was a Big Deal the price was good. Hopefully I will not be hiring them in the future. They apologized and they came out with a follow up because they had to do something else too.

Everything was fine and I've gotten that deal before. It's quick, easy, they are in and out. They get the job done in a good fashion. The price used to be $59.

This part of the project went very well. The only dissatisfaction I had was the time it took to finally complete the necessary repairs [an additional $2700, reviewed separately]. The delays were caused by the need to order parts several times, and the office was less than proactive about keeping us informed of the ETA of parts, etc. The final work was completed March 20. This was not entirely the fault of UMS [compressor back-ordered, etc.]. My husband and I had to call and ask for updates.
