The work went well. I had all of my plastic roofs vents replaced with metal. They were higher than anyone else on their bids but had all the licenses and insurance up to date. Had good reviews/ratings. Even with the senior discount it was expensive for the work and material IMO. Our work went well and was done in 2 hrs. The crew was a pleasure to work with. Now I have no concerns with the vents leaking during rain or snow months.. We had no issues with our old vents but I'm a very proactive homeowner and dont wait for problems to occur to fix stuff.

Roof was inspected; some damaged singles and 4 pipe flashings were replaced. Advised us that our repaired roof should last another 3 years or so -- greatnews!

No problems with the entire project. I had requested for them to only shingle to a certain point to allow another contractor to cut open the roof to install a new roof truss. Palmer returned when needed and finished the entire project. Very happy with them ! They would tarp the entire ground area and thoroughly clean up every day - Very pleased !

It was an extended wait (over a month) due to them being extremely busy, but so far so good.

It was very expensive. It was $46,000. My experience was good with them. It was finished I think in 2016. I think it was started in November of the previous year of 2015. I think I paid half of it in 2015 and the other half in 2016. I found that it’s has depreciated over 38 years. I did get some other estimates that were less and I got one that was more. Cost was a bit high. As far as I know it was okay and it was inspected. I got a manufacturers warranty on it, that was the reason I chose that roofing company. It was a higher bid, but that I one reason I took it. It is a big job. Would I use them again? – It would depend on what I was using them for. This was a commercial building. If it were my own home I might not use them.

What an excellent company. I called, left a voicemail, and they showed up the next day and gave an estimate which was $100 cheaper than another local company. I asked when they could fix my leaky roof, and they said when I am ready. They sent a crew over the next day. Very responsive, not overpriced, and they stand by their work. A little more back story: I originally called another company. They did not show up to do the repair. Called them again, and they still did not show up to the repair. I actually called a third time, and they never showed up. Meanwhile, for 6 weeks I have water coming through my ceiling! Do yourself a favor, and call Palmer Roofing.

Palmer used quality asphalt shingles with a high wind nail pattern. The roof looks great, no more leaks and no lost shingles to wind. Yhey were very efficient and left no mess behind. I most certainly recommend them and will use them again.

They were good. They came in and they took off the old shingles and put in new and did it quickly and all the mess around the house they cleaned up really well.

When we purchased a four-plex we understood that it would eventually need a new roof, but we didn't know it was going to be sooner instead of later. We called around and got about five estimates. Palmer Roofing was not the lowest bid, but they were the lowest that made sense. Since this is income producing property we didn't want to make a cheap and bad decision. We also didn't have the money right away. Six months later we contacted Palmer Roofing and asked if they would honor their bid. They returned our request the next day stating that they would.
I met with Steve Bushman at the property. He helped me through picking colors (I had no idea I would need to pick colors but he walked me through the decision making process) and explained exactly what to expect so that I could inform our renters. I asked him for two weeks so that I could write letters and get them delivered.
I was concerned that I had fallen off of Palmer Roofing's radar. I never heard back from them as to a date to start. There was a little bit of communication glitch but Palmer Roofing showed me that their biggest concern was customer satisfaction through that ordeal. I was treated with respect, even if I was stretched thin and a little snippy. They took my "bad-mood" day all in stride. Sorry Palmer Roofing, but thank you for caring.
When the work was scheduled to start I was out of town. I was a little nervous so I had my son swing by and check on the progress. He reported that everything seemed to be going well but that he had a hard time communicating with the workers. I didn't get any complaints from the tenants so I took his information and held my breath.
After a long day at a conference I checked my email tonight and got this unsolicited feedback from the tenant I was most concerned about. "Hi Susan, George wanted me to email you to let you know that the roofers were great from our end of it..  Nice courteous people, did a great job cleaning up the property and ran a metal detector to check for nails in the yards when they were done. They were even pretty quiet while working as well. We just wanted to let you know. Best, Cathy."
As a landlord it is very important to have a list of businesses to call for specific trades. Palmer Roofing impressed me with a very small job that they did last year on a different rental. This job solidified their position on my "Who To Call" list. Thank you Palmer Roofing.
