This job started on time and much progress was made on first day (21Aug, Tuesday). All concrete was broke up, trench for wall dug out, other areas prepped. Jose was provided half payment after first day completed due to the progress made. But, then no further work was accomplished until about 10 days after first day. Retaining wall is about 90% complete. Very little communication.
I cancelled the job 4 Oct when he was supposed to show up but didn't.
Looking for another contractor now.
