When I called-the secretary was very helpful and she tried to trouble shoot with me over the phone. This was the ONLY company who did this. Todd was at my house by 3:30pm. He discovered the issue within seconds of opening the HVAC system. He taught me a few tricks in the event the issue ever came up again. He was very professional. The price for the service was better than having to pay for a hotel for the weekend. I will def use this company again in the future.

I have a service contract with them. They came out to switch my unit over from winter to summer.

Perfect. Communicated time of arrival and was right on time. Began testing the circuits right away and let me know what the problem and how much it would cost as soon as he had made the determination. Very fair price. All done within 90 minutes.

Could not have gone better. The technician arrived in under 4 hours & quickly assessed the situation and my unit was back on in less than 15 minutes. He also took the time to show me things I could check routinely - beyond the usual changing of the filter. He explained why I should have a maintenance contract - 2 visits include each year at the change of season to proactively service the unit and identify any potential issues for under $200/yr. I'm calling them today to put that in place.

Worked out well. There was a long straight crack running down the entire length of this 4"x5' cast iron pipe. The plumber and his assistant used a grinder to cut the pipe at both ends but one end cracked in the process on what was supposed to become a good re-connection point (not uncommon when working with this material). They had to cut another short section of pipe which added another $200 to the cost. They cleaned up a legacy coupling and inserted a rubber compression fitting at bottom with a Fernco coupling at top. Testing the drain discovered blockage from debris agitated during the removal work. They removed the new pipe and snaked out a clog 15' the connection at no extra charge which cleared the clog. All was good from there. I have used Nugent and Sons previously and intend to use them again if needed. They came to provide an estimate at no cost regardless of whether I used them or not. Both times I have used them they charged a flat rate for a given repair. They showed up during the time frame estimated and returned to do the work that same day at the time they had said that they would return. Matt, who did the work was professional and thorough as was his assistant. Both of them were completely courteous to deal with.

From beginning to end, the process was easy, quick and painless. We were referred by friends, and we were very pleased with their level of professionalism, the install crew, and our new HVAC system. They moved our AV unit to a much better location compared to where it had previously been. Would definitely hire again, and we look forward to Nugent servicing our system in the future.

We replaced 2 furnace & condenser units with John Nugent and Sons. I’m very pleased with the results. We had a complex installation and had to modify duct work to correct a sloppy installation by the original builder. The install crew did a fantastic job! They had great attention to detail and they took their time with the installation. I never felt like they were in a rush to finish the job and move on. Our sales rep Carl was also outstanding - he communicated with me during the entire job. If I could give John Nugent and Sons an A+ I would. I highly recommend.

Our 38 year old air conditioner needs to be replaced, and the condition of our unit and the various options available to us were professionally explained to us in depth by our highly professional technician, Jason Yim, along with a show and tell. He arrived early and the charge was minimal, considering the extent of what he was able to do to our unit. The AC is again operational and we plan on following through with a replacement. Thank you Jason!

suggested that compressor needed to be replaced for about $3k. Had a handyman friend put in a part to fix it for $100.., it may niot be a permanent ix but better than spending $3k.

I was able to schedule someone to come out to the house within a few hours and they were then able to schedule the installation by the very next day. Installation went smooth. Had the AC and furnace replaced. The coupon plus the special promotion the company offered for the model I selected helped the otherwise large bill for a new HVAC system.

Great technician Shawn checked,out the system and found a coolant leak. He arranged to come back and repair the problem. Walter, the service supervisor, was also exceptionally helpful. I liked this company enough to sign a service contract with them. I recommend them for excellent customer service.

Repair work was honest and pricing was fair. AC was low on Freon. A previous firm that came out last year simply topped the freon and replaced another component that was working fine. As a result, decided to call another firm this year. Jason from John Nugent and Sons came out to the property and did a more thorough check than the previous firm. He also offered the option and cost upfront for repair or replacement of the unit. The repair work was completed properly. It is a company I would use again.

We hired them after experiencing a block in our line leaving the basement. This was right before we went on vacation. I poured draino in the lines twice and contacted them to meet us when we returned. They were able to make an appointment immediately after we returned. This was really easy. Upon return, i found that the draino cleared the lines. John nugent and sons showed up and still charged the $99 for the service call which would cover us if we experienced another problem in the next 30 days. The technician was awesome, very professional, and I would have back in to mt home.

Part was installed without issue and A/C is functioning as expected.

Matt Jr and Mitch were professional, hardworking and experts with the rerouting work. They completed ahead of schedule, cleaned up after the work. Matt Sr, who originally came out to provide the estimate stopped by the next day to ensure I was happy with the work. Great customer service all around, not condescending like some other contractors that came by to provide estimates. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, high quality work, professionalism and customer satisfaction.

John Nugent & Sons did excellent work. They arrived on time, promptly and professionally removed my old water heater, installed my new water heater, and cleaned up the area at the completion of the project. They were friendly and were helpful in answering all of my questions. The final cost was exactly the amount they quoted me. Two months later, the water heater is still working perfectly and has greatly improved the hot water situation in our house. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them for future projects!

Only one picked up the phone, Brian Hoffman from Nugent and Sons. He spent 20 minutes on Sunday morning talking my husband through what steps he might take before we scheduled service. His suggestions worked, no charge for twenty minutes on a Sunday morning!!! This will now be my electrical company. Thank you Brian for saving the day. I can't believe a company would actually care about potential customers. Makes you know they really take care of the ones they have.

The plumber showed up on time, was very professional, courteous, friendly and explained everything in detail with an estimate. We were very pleased with the work and will hire them again if we have any problems. They are a bit expensive, but well worth the cost for the quality service provided.

Got a same day service. Miguel explained what he would have to do to make the repair and provided a reasonable estimate. Arrived on time and did the work very quickly. Was able to make the repair in a very tight spot. Very neat. Got a discount for an online coupon.

Jason arrived promptly at the beginning of the service window and was professional and courteous throughout. After inspecting the unit, Jason recommended cleaning the outdoor condenser, which had visible dirt and debris in it. This company installed our HVAC unit two years ago and we plan to continue to use them.

Julio came out and explained what we would need and why and was so clear and professional that we felt very comfortable hiring this company. Once hired they do a pre-order installation walk thru where they assess what they will need for project & measure. At that point you get the installation date. On install day there was a crew and several work vans that showed up and our A/C, furnace, and water heater were all installed and working by the end of the day. After a few days, we thought A/C was too loud in the house when running. They came back out, adjusted it, no charge, and everything is perfect. Also, before we called them we went on Angie' s list got a coupon and got the initial device call for a lot less cost.

From the sales consultation/quote visit to the install and a follow up service call, I could not ask for better service. Each representative from John Nugent & Sons that came to our home or helped us over the phone was extremely polite and helpful. They took the time to explain our different options as well as their recommendations. In our home, they were exceptionally respectful and tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of AC services or replacement.
