Fair. I was charged for more time than the technicians spent on-site. I had to call to get the invoice corrected.

We were extremely happy. Hydro tech worked around the other work, fit in nicely, and to date we have had no problems with the system. We are contemplating buying another house and would definitely use them again for an irrigation system.

VERY POORLY! Scheduled for 4/13, afternoon slot (12 - 5 PM). Called in the morning to ask that I be paged, because I'm rarely at my desk and can't have a cell phone at work. Was PROMISED I would get a page when the tech was 30 minutes out, which is plenty of time for me to get home. Tech called my cell phone, NOT PAGER, at 1:45. Paged me with "6" at 2:10. I ran home, got there by 2:30. Got another page with the tech's cell phone # when I was about 1/2 mile from my house. No tech. He had left. Left message at home # and on cell, but didn't page as requested. Got back in touch with the office, but now tech is on to next appointment and can't come back. Next available appointment is in a month. Contact page on their website limits keystrokes of your comment, so about all you can type is "please contact me." I'll give them an opportunity to do better than that and will update this review. If you have to take off work for appointments like this, you should think twice before you deal with this company. They appear to not be adequately staffed to support their existing customer base, and their communications with their service techs are obviously inadequate. Tag this review FRUSTRATED IN ARLINGTON. UPDATE 5-15-17 Follow up to review tagged FRUSTRATED IN ARLINGTON. HydroTech rescheduled from four weeks after the original appointment to the next Saturday (9 days later). Tech arrived during the appointment window and was finished within about 20 minutes. Appreciate that they moved the appointment up. Just wish it wasn't so hard to coordinate a service call that doesn't require half a day out of work.

I hired Hydro-Tech to do winterization, spring turn on and maintenance for the past few years. Their performance was spotty! They never showed up on time. Some maintenance was awful. Some maintenance was good. They just didn't seem to care whether it was good or bad. When I tried to resolve issues, they were responsive but still gave me the "I really don't care" attitude. This spring they were supposed to spring turn on in March, but missed it due to a snow storm. It just happened there was a storm that day - it happens. The follow up was pushed out a month. They were supposed to come on April 4th for the follow up. They missed it again. This time they said they had me scheduled for the 8. I didn't schedule turn on for the 8 - I wasn't going to be here on the 8th. They pushed me out a month again to May. Enough! I would not recommend them to a friend! They just don't seem to care about their customers. If you like a company that doesn't respect its customers, this is the company for you!

Installation (9 zones) was completed in one day. We had the system put in at the end of the season so it only ran for 2 weeks before we had it winterized.

We dealt with Yoni Wiss on the pre-install phases of the sprinkler system. Yoni did an outstanding job of explaining the process, answering our questions, setting up the install date. Yoni came out the morning of the install to talk to the install crew about the installation itself. The install crew was great, they worked diligently to install the system, tested it , ensured the app associated with the Rachio controller worked correctly. It was hardly noticable that any work had actually been done to the yard after they left. We are beyond pleased with Hydro-Tech!

Techs arrive on time, repair what's needed quickly.

AMAZING service. Sean and AJ arrived early for the apt and performed a full assessment and diagnostic of the sprinkler system. They were honest, professional and high knowledgeable about the sprinkler system. He told us that we would need to coordinate service between our landscaper to resolve our current issue. He provided guidance and even went as far as to speak to our landscaper to explain the issues. I am so please with the services that I will be referring our whole community here to them.

Maintained our system for years. Fixed any issues for a nominal fee.

David was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy from start to finish. The crew that did the work showed up on time, took the time to disturb the yard as little as possible, and were extremely professional. I am glad I took Davi'd suggestion and went with the Rachio unit as it allows me to control my system from my phone from anywhere.

The team was extremely professional. They were on time and did a great job! You could hardly tell that they had done any work they cleaned up so nicely. It's an expensive job, but we were willing to pay a little bit more for quality work. We're very happy.

Hydro-tech and it's business and technical representative Yoni Wiss performed all functions of our irrigation system contract effort in a very professional and high quality manner. All appointments were kept in a punctual manner, technical aspects of the job were explained in a manner we could understand, and the job was completed on time and with minimal lawn damage. We had one minor issue with the installation and hydro-tech immediately came out to our home and corrected the problem. I would highly recommend Hydro-tech to anyone seeking to install a new lawn irrigation system.

We used the sprinkler system from Oct to Dec 2016 and it is worth the money spent. I waited until now to write this review because I wanted to test the system (I give it A+) and evaluate Hydro-Tech's performance (I give it A+). I just scheduled the Spring Turn on and will see how it will turn out.

I love the controller, the app is easy to understand, the tech was knowledgeable and was helpful, courteous and punctual. You can't ask for more than that.

The quality of the install was high. The rep was knowledgeable and offered his perspective on how to save money. The price was high but the rep was willing to negotiate. The only con I have was the rep's post install support. I needed some minor help with rain sensor and the rep's responsiveness wasn't as great as his pre-install responsiveness. Overall I gave a B grading because I think I would have liked to see more consistent response times from my service rep given the price of the job.

Call Yoni Wiss at Hydrotech! We have lived in the Ashburn area for 2 years in a new build home. Because of this, we have used many contractors for various improvements to the home. Without a doubt....Hydro Tech was the most responsive, cost effective and all around wonderful workers who were knowledgable on the system I was purchasing, and made sure I was also knowledgable. We worked with Yoni Wiss as a project manager. He stopped by our house 3 times to make sure the job was completed to our families satisfaction. I had 3 companies give me estimates, and Hydro Tech was the best for price and the job recommend. We now have a beautiful system for the Spring.

The tech arrived and replaced a valve. Leaking continued. Tech indicated it was down the line from the valve. After putting in a couple of hrs work, the tech indicated he needed to leave to complete other afternoon appointments and another appointment would need to be made (what?!). He recommended the system not be used. I asked the tech to shut the valve to that zone so we could continue to use the system. He made that adjustment. He indicated the bill was for $199. I think most customers would agree 1. You don't leave a customer until you fix the problem. 2. You don't give a customer a bill until the problem is fixed. 3. If you do 1 & 2 - you'll lose a long standing customer. We're opting for #3.

Joe Horvath at Hydro Tech did an excellent job installing a new sprinter system for our home. Joe came out, explained his product, how it would be installed, and answered all of my questions. He provided a very reasonable quote, and a comprehensive information packet on the product being installed, along with a letter explaining the details of the intended work. Seven zones were installed to cover the entire lawn and landscaping in front and to the side of the house. After they completed the work (all installed in just one day), Joe set up an appointment to come back to the house to conduct a walk-thru of the project, explain the controller's functionality and make notes on a few minor adjustments. I was pleased with the quality of his work and the attention he paid to my project. I would highly recommend Hydro Tech Irrigation.

Great. Yoni and his crew were wonderful. Did a wonderful job in one day and cleaned up. Little disturbance to my new plants and lawn. Yoni even came out and reseed the area they dug up and also some other brown spots I had from another contractor.

The job never got started. I took the day off of work to wait for the tech. Temperature was 95 degrees. The tech showed but only to leave a hang tag saying we went home and he couldn't access the sprinkler pump. We were home all day and the pump and all equipment are easily accessible and very noticeable outside. He didn't call, knock, or ring the door bell. Upon noticing the hang tag, I called the company who then had the tech call me. The tech let the phone ring once and hung up. I called him back three times and he never answered (got VM). A truly bizarre situation. I see that Hydro Tech has great reviews here, but I don't trust this Tech and others aren't available at a time convenient for my work schedule. I will go with another company.

GREAT! They were very quick at sending over the quote with an aggressive price. The team arrived on time, and finished the whole system within a day. Yoni and his team were able to give me a complete system in under one week after my first conversation with him. I have fresh sod on my lawn, and I have yet to have any dead spots. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a high quality system installed by a professional. Great work!

Irrigation system was installed in March 2016. Wriuting this review review in July 2016, after having a few months of experience with the system. Installers arrived right on time and completed the installation in one day. I was very impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. There were up to 25 people on my property at one point all doing their part of the install. The crew worked non-stop from 7:30AM until they finished around 4:00PM. They took great care in protecting trees and plantings in the flower beds. They repaired the lawn where the water lines were installed so well I had a hard time seeing where they all were located. The crew was clearly experienced and they worked as if every step had been planned. The sales rep, Yoni, was onsite when the installers arrived and made sure everything went smoothly. He gave me an overview of the system functions, showed me how to adjust all of the sprinkler heads, and trained me on setting up and using the app on my phone. During the installation I had an idea to add an additional hose bib in another part of the yard and they accomodated my request without hesitation. Since the istallation I have had a couple of issues: 1 of the sprinkler heads was sticking and wouldn't retract on its own without manual assistance. When I called to report this, a tech was dispatched the next day to replace the head. They didn't try to fix it or say it was my fault. They just replaced it without any hassle. The other issues were related to the lighting system which i will detail in another post. everything was addressed without any push-back. The materials they used are very high quality. All copper pipes for any connection above ground, heavy-duty shut-off valves and a very robust backflow valve system. I looked at some of the other systems installed in other yards in my neighborhood and there was a vsible difference in quality of components and workmanship. I researched other irrigation companies and got quotes from 2 of them. Hydro-Tech was not the cheapest but I felt like they were the best in terms of technology and equipment. I have recommended them to my friends and neighbors and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable system.

Yoni Wiss was excellent and very professional. Easy to work with and prompt. Workers doing installation worked very hard and did a great job too. Price was great too! Very reasonable. Also very impressed with the wi-fi controller, enabling easy system operation. A completely great experience. Would highly recommend Yoni and this company.

Yoni Wiss and his crew did a great job installing my irrigation system. They were timely and professional. After the initial install I noticed a minor leak and they promptly returned and fixed it. Would recommend to others.
