Jill Norvell Calligraphy

Jill Norvell Calligraphy is a fantastic, professional, customer-service oriented provider of calligraphy services and I highly recommend this service. I needed a quick-turn "fill-in" on a prayer card and reached out to a number of calligraphy services. I quickly found that this type of service is difficult to acquire and I either did not receive timely responses or was turned down abruptly because they do not do "fill-in" services (i.e. small change). I was about to give up when I came across Jill Norvell Calligraphy on Angie's List and reached out to her. Her response was immediate, professional, detailed and above all helpful. It was refreshing after having been turned down a few times that someone was willing to do "fill-in." We worked out the details via email, I provided pictures of what I needed filled-in, and she gave me a very reasonable quote. Jill has a drop box system at her door where you can drop off the package, she completes, then sends you a notification when it is complete so you can pick up from the drop box and leave payment at that time. As far as the actual product, it was great and all I had hoped it would be. When I sent her the pictures she quickly provided recommended calligraphy styles based on the document so it would blend well with the preexisting design, she even provided sample examples. I ultimately left it to her decide the best calligraphy style for the prayer card, as she seemed extremely competent and professional. I was glad I did. When I received the final product, less than two days after drop off, it was a huge relief. She penned some excellent calligraphy and even added a touch of gold ink to make it pop. It seemed like such a small but important thing to have done, three lines worth of work, but I quickly found that was not the case to others. Thankfully Jill Norvell Calligraphy came to the rescue and provided excellent quality services and let me breathe a little easier. It wasnt a big deal to many, but it was a big deal to me, and Jill thought it was too. I appreciate that mindset and will go to her again if I have any further calligraphy service needs. 

She was extremely professional, accommodating, and super nice. I would definitely use her in the future.

I contacted Jill (I had used her previously). I explained what I wanted and sent her some pictures to clarify. I met her at the studio where she works and we discussed color options and what I had in mind. She showed me some frames that were close to what I thought I wanted. She gave me guidance but definitely was not pushy. She had a wonderful idea to use the birth month flowers for the borders. She completed the work in about 3 weeks and was very sensitive to my time needs. Both prayers are beautiful!! I would definitely use Jill again. I also think her prices are reasonable!

It was wonderful. It was absolutely beautiful. She was time efficient and it didn't take her very long. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did it. She wanted to add a couple different touches and she called me to make sure it was okay. I am planning on using her again very soon.
