We hired Old Dominion in 2012 to paint the exterior of our house, and the project went really well. We recently sold the house, and the buyers asked for certain areas to be touched up. We were under a tight timeline, and Old Dominion was very prompt in responding and getting the project done. I highly recommend them!

This was great service. I origninally planned for them to paint just the 3 rooms but becasue they were done early I had them do the trim in 2 room. Guess what, they still were done early. They painted with making no mess, they were very good at cleaning up after themselevs. They showed up on time at 8 AM took exactly 1 hour lunch break and ended their day at 4 PM, perfect. The kitchen is always a pain to paint because of having to move all the appliances thats why I really wanted them and figured since they were there why not get more done. They also did the mudding for the rooms which was great and they even fixed a wall that on another contractor job said they fix but these guys made did it better and it looks better. I will definitely be using them again.

Old Dominion is a 1st class organization. The painters (there were 2, sometimes 3 on the job at all times) were conscientious, professional, and very personable. The quality of the work was outstanding - not a line out of place, not a stray drip anywhere to be found. The work progressed as rapidly as possible, with maybe one or two days lost due to bad weather. Otherwise, the work was completed right on time. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with this job.

We had Old Dominion paint the exterior of our house in the fall of 2012. From initial phone call to painters on site was about two weeks, and that delay was mostly due to me trying to time some other general work. The weather cooperated, and the job was completed in about two weeks. The painters were professional and really kind. They spent a lot of time prepping the house for painting, and did a decent job at cleaning everything up. They went well beyond my expectations - not even the slightest grumble when my wife asked them to repaint the front door a darker shade of the same color. The only negative was the painting looks lumpy - but was told by several painters that that look is inevitable with an old house that has seen a dozen paint jobs and can only be fixed by completely sanding down to bare wood, which is super expensive.

My experience was that the owner was an honest and experienced man. His team was punctual. showed up everyday until the job was done, worked at a good pace, and were polite. An extremely fair price for good quality work. A couple small spots needed touch up is all. highly recommend if you want good work at great price, and no headaches.

From start to finish, they did a very good job and the quality of their work was top-notch. They were very neat, professional, courteous and genuinely concerned about our satisfaction.

I hired them for a small job, but was treated as though I'd bought painting of a large mansion with a high profit margin. I was greatly pleased by the quality of the work, by promptness, and by the fact that I had no after-the-fact spilled paint to clean up. I recommend Steve, and would gladly hire him again for painting tasks.

I have not decided yet but they were in the ballpark estimate-wise. They are a little higher than the other people but they may not have seen something the others that bid saw. I was not here when they looked at the work. I will have them bid again in the future.

This was an excellent experience and I have already set up a time to work with them again. They were very professional, did what they said they were going to (even a little more than I had expected), showed up on time, and cleaned up any mess that they made. I love it when I find a good person or company for particular trade needs because so many times these days it seems that various contractors cut corners and just don't care about their work. These guys go above and beyond with out question.

I met with Stephen the week of August 15. I had a short timeline to get some painting done since I had company coming from out of town for the Labor Day weekend. Stephen and I walked the perimeter of the whole house and talked about what all needed to be painted and what I might do now versus later. The price he quoted was $2210 for the work initially specified. My husband and I thought that was reasonable and Stephen's crew started the job the following week. There were four workers intially...one power washer, one interior painter, and two exterior painters. The workers were all very pleasant, very professional and very hard working. The power washer did a great job and, as a result, we added on power washing the driveway. The painters did a lot of work to scrape and otherwise prepare the surfaces before they painted them. The interior painter finished painting my kitchen wall the first day. He had to repaint a wall royal blue that my husband had painted himself a few years earlier. The wall looks just perfect now. After just a couple of days, we authorized Stephen to paint the whole exterior of the house, including my front and kitchen doors and both driveway doors. The painters showed up for work by 8:30 each morning and always left their paint , ladders, etc. put away at the end of each day. We are extremely pleased with the job that this company did. Our house looks so good from the road now. We will definitely use Stephen again and, in fact, we hope to use him to do some commerical painting in our small business very soon.

very professional. punctual. did lots of extras without nickel and diming. cleaned up well each day. respectful of our need to be able to function in the space during project. they were prompt each day and completed the job ahead of schedule - we even added an extra room and they made sure they got it all done on time! they showed very good attention to detail. a very good job. will use them again. highly recommended.

Entire job went very smoothly. I live in a 100+ year old place, and prep work for the paint job took longer for the crew than originally estimated. They were all about quality work though, and didn't cut corners. Very pleased with their attention to detail and craftsmanship.

It went perfectly. Steve ended up having emergency surgery before the job started, so it took a while, but I told him I was in no hurry. He got to it as soon as he could. He did an excellent job. Trusted him to be in the house alone...absolutely no problem.

I did not use them since they were very expensive. I met the guy for about 20 minutes and explained things and he gave me a quote. He was there when he said he would be. I took quotes from a couple of other places and ended up going with somebody else.

It turned out very, very well. They showed up on time and they finished well within the time that they said. They did a very good job. Their price was very competitive. We would definitely use them again.

They price was lower than the first estimate I received but higher than the third estimate. I'm still considering them because they were professional and very nice.

Steve Azar at Old Dominion Painting took on this job at relatively short notice (less than 2 weeks lead time). He made sure that he finished the job within my deadline. He came with plenty of help and 2 pressure washing units. He and his guys were able to complete the job, and do it well, within 4 hours. I would definitely use his services again.

Very pleased overall. Would use again. Work done on time. Employees were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The owner supervised work. Only problem was that brickwork was spray painted and chipped later in areas where power wash removed old paint. I was not aware that it would not be brush or roller painted. My house is almost 100 years old and the power wash was a little too powerful for some wooden and brick areas.

They were great. It was a small job and they were willing to squeeze me in. They did what they said they would do when they said they were going to do it. I was happy. The price was fine; it could always be a little less expensive.
