Time to do work started promptly but the contractor came unprepared to do patch work to fix small nail in wall prior to painting. Contractor was told that patch work was needed to prior to start for painting. Was charged additional monies to complete work as the time for the service was listed as only 3 hours but took an entire day. Had to inform contractor to paint door and inside a closet in the room. Had another contractor come in afterwards to complete touch up work.

Ed was very punctual and did a great job. He cleaned up after himself and we were very satisfied with the work. We would definitely use them again.

JBs crew showed up and had a very narrow window to get the siding done, I was told it should take a day and a half to get the siding done. It probably would have taken that amount of time if the crew would have stayed all day instead of taking extended lunches and leaving early. It took them three days and the weather started to turn, they had to rush to get done and started forcing the siding to fit which caused it to bow out and leave big gaps. When the painter was finally able to start, he couldn't get finished before it began to rain which caused the paint to run. It was also getting dark and the crew that was reglazing the windows obviously couldn't see well enough and rushed that too. They also forgot to set the brace for the a/c unit, they left a bag of cement out on the ground which became wet and unusable. It was about a month later when JB got a hold of me and said he believed that the weather was going to be good enough to fix the siding and repaint, it was then that I reminded him that the brace wasn't set. They came out the next day (Feb 6th) set the brace for the a/c, repaired and repainted the siding and the glazing on the windows. At the end of the day JB and I talked about several other projects that I wanted done to include replacing some windows, he told me that he would bring a couple windows by that following Monday so that I could see the difference in the quality and make a decision on which ones I wanted to use but it's been two and a half weeks and I haven't seen or heard from him since he received my check. I am greatly disappointed, it is very hard to find anyone in the Richmond area that does what they say.

They were really accommodating and friendly and cooperative. The supervisor had a heart attack and they didn't have any on short notice to get a crew together and set things up. So I ended up doing the work on my own.

There were no issues; it was all good. Everything was great about them. They were timely and professional. They were a great company to use.

We had an excellent experience. The problem we called about fixed quickly and professionally. Another problem unrelated to the roof (our original call) was diagnosed at our request and we shall be contacting them again in the spring to solve that problem. .

We purchased 3 hours of handyman service from this company as part of a "big deal" Scheduling was not a problem. Was able to get on their calendar quickly. We needed to have a few ceiling fans and a couple of light fixtures hung. To be honest, the guy struggled with this and it took way too long. This is a job I could have done myself if I had the time. No specialized expertise needed. Long story short, just seemed to struggle with this straightforward task. In the end, job got done but would have expected more skill and speed from someone who does this for a living.

It took a couple of visits for the repairman to be able to mostly fix the ceiling. The ceiling still needs a bit of work, but the repairman warned us in advance that he might need to come back. We will need to set up another time for him to come back and complete the work.

After meeting and receiving an estimate for the work, Commonwealth Renovations later sent a roof crew over and we had a beautiful new roof within about 24 hours time, start to finish. The roof was top of the line in quality. Commonwealth Renovations left the yard clean and there was no evidence of roofing nails or debris anywhere on the property. Next they installed our custom-made windows, vinyl siding, doors, hung shutters and installed new gutters. Again, very clean and professional work. Owner, J. B. gave us advance notice of when they expected to be at our place and were there as they promised. Any questions that we had were answered with a return phone call almost right away. Their price was the best that we could find for the quality and scope of the job. All of this with no stress on us-- we couldn't be happier with the results!

The job took a little longer than estimated, but presented no problems.

They recommend that we take off our leave guard so we did, but now we need a new leaf guard.

He came to look at the backsplash tile project to give an estimate as to the additional time beyond the 3 hours already purchased. He was on time and very professional. We set a date for the service and he gave concise instructions as to what I needed to get for materials and what needed to be done before he returned. He returned on the appointed date and completed the project above and beyond the original agreement. It was a great experience and I would call on this company and this professional at any time and recommend them to others.

Mr. Sipe was very punctual, professional, and helpful.

They dug-up the broken posts, poured new concrete to put the new posts back in., and then put the sections of the fence back up They had little extra time left on the 3 hours so they took care of some small jobs around my house for me too.

He did a great job - the curtains were complex because the rods I had were a difficult fit. He did a wonderful job and was very accommodating. I would definitely use again.

Prompt response to email request for quote. Courteous and knowledgable reply to fit my timeline. Answered my questions in easy to understand terms that applied to my project. Offered friendly suggestions and explanations how this project would proceed from start to finish. Impressed with the accuracy of the length of the project and cost projection even when they encountered unpredicted inclement weather conditions. The look of the finished roof exceeded my expectations and several neighbors complemented the 3-dimensional look of the new roof. Excellent!

Chris was able to identify the problem and purchase the correct supplies. He completed the work in four hours over the course of two days. I felt it was reasonably priced given the extensive amount of wood work done. Chris has done all the work for me thus far. I have recommended their services to my mother and she will be using them soon.

He looked at the lamp, but determined that it was too damaged to be repaired. If it did not have as much damage as it did, he would have been able to repair it. I did hired them for other work and I was very happy with their services.

I bought 2 coupons worth $300.00. After receiving the estimate I realized it way out of my budget. So, I have wasted my money. Won't do the coupons again.

In both of my experiences, we have nothing but positive things to say. JB returns your call promptly and the work is done in a quality manner. We had Chris do the work in both jobs and were pleased. I would call them again for another job and thank them for being there when I needed them!
