The service call did not take very long and everything was found to be in good working order.

Daniel was courteous and professional, and gave us recommendations for regular maintenance. It was an easy transaction.

I called because my electric bill more than doubled in one month surpassing the coldest month last winter. After going over the options we elected to go with the least expensive which involved repairing and recharging the system. Mr. Armstrong was quite understanding of my tight budget and never pressured me into more expensive options. When it is time to replace my system it will be Armstrong that I call.

The experience was wonderful! I was very impressed with the man who came. He put little boots on so he wouldn’t track dirt into the house. He did a great job and I am very impressed.

Mr. Armstrong was on time (actually a little early) for the appointment. He was very efficient, and explained everything he was doing. Once the thermostat problem was diagnosed, he left the premises to obtain a new thermostat suitable for our home. He returned within 40 minutes and completed the installation very efficiently. Throughout the entire process (approx. 2 hours), he was very efficient and professional, and kept us informed. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly!

Armstrong never went a penny over the estimate they gave in advance. They never tried to sell us something additional that we didn't need (like the two other companies from whom we received estimates.) Very professional team. Worked the entire time they were here, and cleaned up after themselves, thoroughly. I was very impressed and pleased.

Daniel did an excellent job of figuring out a very complicated thermostat. Very reasonable and terrific about keeping us in the loop as to when he would arrive for our appointment. Will definitely use him again.

I scheduled an appointment thinking that I could use this coupon on this specific new A/C. He found that he has to replace the unit that is all the way under and outside of the house. The heat pump also needs to be replaced. I am still awaiting the final estimate. He arrived on time to the appointment and he was professional.

Our a/c was no working very well downstairs and was not working at all on the 2nd floor. So we had them for inspection and tune up service. During inspection the technician has found out that some detail in both units is broken. I don't remember exactly what it was, might be a coil. He offered us several options. We could have replaced that detail, however, due to the age of our units (over 14yo) he said that the unit itself can break again and he can't tell how soon it will happen. So we went with replacing both units. Then we were given 2 different options on how we can replace our units. We could have replaced a whole system (furnace and ac), but the technician said that both our furnaces are in great condition and can last at least 1 or 2 more years. It was a really helpful option, because it helped us spread our expenses and delay spending extra $4000. I was impressed, becasue our neighbours were dealing with the same kind of situation and their technician had not even mentioned that ac can be replaced without a furnace, and they had to pay a lot of money at once. Then we decided that we wanted ac units that they don't have in stock and usually don't carry, but they have accommodated our request and contacted a manufacturer of the units we wanted, provided us with all the quotes we needed and never tried to push us to the product they carry. Now we have perfectly functioning ac units, and when the time will come to replace a furnace we'll call Armstrong again.

Daniel called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, and went right to work. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions completely. He actually preformed more work than I had expected. He made sure to clean up after the work was completed. I was very pleased and plan to call Daniel again.

The a/c unit in one of my rental properties was a little low on freon. I made the mistake of calling out a contractor that had sent out a coupon. Turned out to be a franchise that was only interested in signing me up for a VERY expensive maintenance contract. When I refused, they told me about their flat-rate pricing and the $530 it would cost to tune up my a/c. I politely asked them TO LEAVE. BY then it was about 3pm on a miserably hot day. That's when called Armstrong Mech. To my surprise, they came out THE SAME DAY. They did just the work I needed and didn't try to sell me anything else. Daniel was GREAT!! I have to replace a furnace in another rental house and Armstrong will get the job - no question!!

Emailed Daniel Armstrong that I had purchased the Big Deal and he responded right away. He explained that he wanted to come out and see my current system to make sure the unit and coils would work in my home before I was charged by Angie's List. He arrived on time, was courtneous, dressed neatly, took detailed measurements, asked questions and determined that everything would work. We scheduled the installation day, but I had to cancel and he rescheduled right away. Daniel and a co-worker arrived on time and the installation went smoothly and efficiently. I was able to work on a computer in another room the entire time. The job was completed several hours early and everything was clean and neat. Fantastic experience.

He was very good, very courteous and very professional. He came in when he was supposed to. My wife and I were very happy with his service. We had some other estimates from other people, and he was by far the most reasonable.

I needed to have my A/C serviced/cleaned in our new house, so I gave Dan a call. We set an appointment date and time over the phone and he was very pleasant to talk to. He arrived right on time, almost to the minute actually which impressed me very much. He told me what he would be doing to make sure my system was working properly and walked me through all of the steps he was doing. He also cleaned out the coils on the outdoor unit as they were very dirty and were probably limiting the performance of our system. He cleaned them so good they look like brand new. He also took the time to answer all of my questions as well. One of the things that impressed me the most was his attention to detail. When he was cleaning the coils in the unit, he also cleaned the outside of the unit as well. I'm sure that it doesn't have anything to do with the functionality of it but it made a 16 year old unit actually look nice again. It was very nice to see someone take pride in their work and go a little above and beyond. A person's work is their signature and Dan's work was top notch. I will definitely use him for all of my HVAC needs and recommend him to others whenever I can.

Punctuality is key for me. The service provider was on time and he performed the A/C tune-up quickly. He then diagnosed our problem which was a faulty thermostat. He had one ready to go in his truck. Punctual and professional? Wow!
