Everything went smoothly and efficiently.

He did exactly what I asked him to do, and everything went just fine. They only odd thing is that you have to request a receipt by email instead of getting something there on the spot.

Since I had not heard anything since September 6, I sent him a text on October 10, today, shortly before 11 to make sure he was still on track for my appointment. I received a call shortly afterward where it was clear he did not have me on his schedule. He then told me that he was closed today, which is funny since he gave ma an 11-1 appointment time the last time I talked to him on the phone. So the bottom line on this vendor is don't waste your time. I gave him a shot despite seeing some bad reviews, and obviously I wasted my time.

Went great. Explained each step thoroughly, went through each room, blew out the vents and cleaned out from the unit in the basement.

once they actually showed up it went fine. Communication up front wasn't the best. First time the guy showed up at my front door and told me he didn't have the right tools. Second time, he came into my apartment and again said he didn't have the right tools. Third time was the charm. Actual service was very good but better communication could of prevented me from having to take off work 3 separate times

This company was more than fantastic! They discovered many problems with the original installation of our dryer vent, and fastidiously created connection where they was none, repaired the existing parts of the vent to the outside that were salvageable, and cleaned our vents. We are so vastly impressed with their work we made an amount for entire duct cleaning of our home. Absolutely superior work!

The workers could not make to the appointment twice. Wasted my time. He did even call and leave a message. Totally unprofessional.

I highly recommend "DuctClean 1974" for dryer vent cleaning and repair. Carlo, the manager, returned calls and text messages promptly. Tech expert, Eric, did an outstanding job. He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and kind. I needed my clogged dryer vent cleaned out as soon as possible, and we received same-day-service. The price was excellent, with an Angie's List 10% discount it cost $85. I couldn't be happier with this company and will use them from now on in the future.

They cleaned the HVAC ducts just fine. The problem was we didn't really care about the ducts. Our dryer vent was completely clogged and we needed someone to clean it out. They said our dryer duct was too high and left without cleaning it. I followed up via email and they said we needed to supply an extension ladder for them! When we asked for a refund, strangely enough the HVAC duct cleaning made up $175 work of the amount and the dryer vent cleaning only $25, so they were just going to refund us the $25. Suggest they list on their website and on Angie's List description that they can not clean dryer vents that require ladders to avoid future confusion. We didn't need our HVAC ducts cleaned, so we're out the money and still have a clogged dryer vent.

We purchased a coupon for a $99 chimney cleaning through Angie's List. The technician was prompt (early even!) and did a great job and cleaned up before leaving.

Terrible. First of all, I waited a week to hear from them after requesting the service on Angie's List. After I did not hear from them, I had to look them on on the internet and give them a call. They responded to my call the next day and was unable to schedule an appointment for over a month. The appt was scheduled for today between 1-3. They called me shortly before 1:00 and told me that they were not able to make. When I told them that I was unable to reschedule today (I needed to look at a calendar) and also told them how disappointed I was in trying schedule with them. Then, they told me that I was too far away. If that is the case, they shouldn't have shown up in the service area query. And, as I told them, they should have told me that in the beginning and not set up an appointment with me, nor cancelled at the last minute. This is the first time that I have used Angie's List for a service, and I am really disappointed.

Carlo cleaned my dryer duct inside and outside. He explained that the outside opening was too low to the ground and with a heavy rain could allow water into my basement. I went outside with him to check and decided he was right. He went to Home Depot to purchase what was needed and installed it. He had given me the price beforehand which I thought was reasonable and I paid for it. My only complaint is that it should have been white to match the down spout but it is metal and is not very attractive. Otherwise I am pleased with the service as I have used them before and will continue to use them.
