Brendan showed up well within the 3 hour window. He was very friendly and explained the process. He answered all my questions about the process. Overall I think he did a very nice job. I was a little surprised at the amount of debris that was left about. I would have liked to have seen him vacuum up the areas where debris was strewn about. I literally had to vacuum my entire house after all was said and done. For the price it was a very good deal and I will use this company again in the future.

The tech did his best in moving the dryer in order to reach the duct vent opening. It was a tight fit. However, in doing so, he inadvertently knocked a shelf-support bracket off the wall and the items on the shelf fell to the floor. Ultimately, he did get the bracket re-stabilized and the items were replaced. The tech did not go on the roof to examine the dryer vent closely. There is no way for me to tell how much lint was present in the system and no way for me to know how much lint was cleaned out when he was finished. He used an industrial vacuum cleaner. I will assume the job was done correctly and all is well.

Brendan from Duct Clean 1974 was terrific in every measure. He arrived on time and quickly got to work. He let me know upfront of the noise generated by his equipment as I was planning to do some work at home. He completed the job in about 2 hours and reviewed the work he had performed. I will definitely call upon them again next time I need another round of vent cleaning.

The gentleman arrived within the window and wore booties on his shoes at my request. He pulled out the bedroom level dryer and noted that the vent wasn't properly connected so lint was escaping. He allowed me time to clean up the floor while he sought the exterior vent. The vent location required him to use a tall ladder. He blew out the lint and recommended that it be done annually. He ran the dryer and showed me how the air was flowing through the vent by showing me the extended flaps. He recommended a flexible dryer vent instead of using my semi-rigid one since the one I had could become misshapen behind the dryer. He waited patiently while I tried to locate what he was referencing on Home Depot's site. However, when I went to Home Depot, they disagreed with using the flexible vent citing the opportunity for lint to get stuck in the vent due to it's numerous "pockets" since the interior of the vent is not smooth. I initially thought the price was too high, but after getting other estimates, I learned that $85 is a great price. Just shocking that it would cost so much!

Great service, the young man was early, professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do. He took pride in during the tasks. My HVAC is clean and so are my vents. No more dust blowing. I am well pleased with the service. Will hire them again for the service.

I had to reach out to the company about two days after the deal was purchased to schedule the service. They were able to schedule for a few days after my desired date range but that wasn't a big issue. The technician arrived within the scheduled timeframe and did an excellent job with the air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. He explained everything that he would be doing and seemed extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely hire them again.

I purchased and Angie's deal for duct/dryer cleaning. The duct clean technician arrived on time. He cleaned my ducts, and also cleaned my dryer vent. There was a lot of dust in the vents. and he cleaned them thoroughly. He did not try to sell me mold cleaning or other things like duct cleaners had done in the past. Then he cleaned the dryer vent. Prior to cleaning he said it should be done yearly, but after cleaning, he told me that the vent to the outside was so close to the dryer, and the vent was not that dirty, so it could be cleaned every 2-3 years. I appreciated his work, and honesty, and was glad that he did not try to upsell or oversell the services. I would definitely use them again.
