They never told us they did not take checks so we had to go get cash.

The technicians were really helpful including helping me replace my dryer vent tube which I wasn’t able to do alone. They appeared to know everything and appropriately vsnt cleaning but I would like to have had them help vacuum up the dirt around the vents when completed and taken some of the dirt trash out with them when they were done. Otherwise everything seems excellent.

Did an excellent job cleaning my dryer vent. The only problem was getting them to the job as promised, probably due to heavy snowfall. But managed to show up early the next day. I would still hire them again.

I rated value at 3.0 because I don't have a good point of comparison. I did end up spending more than the original quote but that was because the state of my vents was horrible-the people who came in recommended that the system be completely disinfected in addition to being cleaned, and I agreed because 1) from what I could see of the vents they were pretty dusty/dirty and 2) I bought the house from flippers and it had been a rental property before that so I have no idea when (or if) the ducts had been cleaned previously. Some of the other reviewers mentioned that the workers left a mess-at my project they cleaned well but did leave some light furniture out of place (I didn't ask them to move it back before they left because I had another project going on at the same time, so I don't know if they would have fixed the issue if I asked). Overall I was happy with what they did and would hire them again.

Very punctual, called and arrived when they said.

They provided prompt and excellent duct cleaning service.

They came right on time (called ahead of time to confirm), were professional and quick, and they were the best price around.

Safe House was hired to clean the HVAC unit, air ducts and vents, and dryer vent. Concern #1: The lead technician promptly went to the basement to check out the unit, but also opened the panel for the blower, where he discovered a mold concern. He immediately went into sales mode. He went outside of the scope of the job. Concern #2: While cleaning the unit and blower, he also "cleaned" the filters. He put them in our basement sink, supposedly sprayed a cleanser on them, rinsed them, and left them in the sink to dry. They stunk to high-heaven! I ended up putting them in a bathtub, spraying them with my own cleanser, letting it sit for 20 minutes, and then rinsing them until the water ran clean. They were filthy after he cleaned them! Concern #3: About an hour after they left, I was cleaning the house; and noticed they had not cleaned the vent behind the bed in the master bedroom. It was easy to get to. Not once did they express any concern about being able to reach any of the vents. They were only there an hour, so I am now questioning the quality of the work they did.

I ended up doing 2 projects with them and they did a great job.

I have been pondering writing a review...they were an hour earlier than expected. Luckily, we were enroute to the house needing the service. For vent cleaning services, the cost went from $89 to $799 by the time it was all over because of mold that needed to be removed (which looked like dirty dust to me, but anyway....the tech kept at every twist and turn tried to convince me to purchase the UV light for the furnace...another $300 plus dollars...if it were so necessary then why hasn't the company called and said the doctor is really urging you to get this installed or your health...oh never mind....LOL....not even sure why one side of the house no longer has heat....you live and you learn.

David and his assistant were very punctual, polite, helpful and professional. They left all areas as clean as they were before they performed the work.

I was extra impressed with both men who came out to clean my air ducts and vents. They were knowledgeable and asked if anyone in this house had breathing problems-and yes I do! So what they did to clean and sanitize the mold and dust greatly helped me feel better! Also I like how kind, respectful and nice both men were and I felt they spent a long time -in order to do a thorough job. That is exactly what I wanted! Thank you very much!

75% sure I was upsold on a light but they did a good job cleaning the ducts. The annoying part of this company was the follow up calls asking to schedule a visit when I already had them come out and do the work.

At the time I set the appointment, I was told by the customer service rep I spoke with, the fee to clean my dryer vent would be $89. I confirmed the appointment time to be between, 1pm and 3pm. The day of the appointment, There was a lot of confusion by Safe house. First, I was called by Safe house at 8:26am,, to tell me they would be at my home at 9:26am. Fortunately, I was at home but what but why would Safe house arbitrarily change the appointment time, without previously confirming the new time with me? Second, the Safe house technician told me his boss told him, he would be cleaning all the air ducts in my house in addition to cleaning the dryer vent. I told the Safehouse technician, i only contracted Safehouse to clean my dryer vent. I showed the technician my dryer vent to clean. Third issue, The tech began to come up with all types of reasons to he would have to charge me more than the $89 previously agreed upon fee. All of this seemed very suspicious to me and i informed the tech if, he could not clean the dyer vent for the previously agreed upon fee; I could not use his services. He called his boss, and his boss tried to convenience me, I must have misunderstood. Not possible, by practice I diligently confirm contractors fee for service before having them come to my home. i do this , to avoid what happened with Safe house. I would advise others to steer clear of Safe house.

They told me that I had mold in my vents, but I actually did not trust this based upon a customer review. Otherwise, they did a good job, but were a bit messy.

I would recommend that if you want a cleaning as well as a vacuum that you state this before you only expect to pay the price given on the telephone, and also be wary of the mold treatment it is only a spray bottle!
