Matt and Billy showed up on time. They covered the wood flooring and carpet in the house so the flooring would not get dirty as they moved things in and out of the house. They were friendly and professional. The removal and installation went well and there was little disturbance to me who happened to be teleworking that day. Once installation was complete they reviewed the equipment with me (how to change the air filter, use the new thermostat, etc.) which was very helpful. They left the manuals in a convenient place for me to find too. Since it is winter, they will come back in the Spring to check the new A/C unit to make sure that it was installed properly and is working right. Nice work overall.

Mannix was one of several bidders to replace our entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. Mannix provided the highest quality (Carrier) unit that we looked at, with all the features we wanted, and at the lowest price. The installers came on schedule and finished the entire removal of the old system/installation of the new system and testing within one day. As promised, the new system has made a difference in our gas and electricity bills. We are very pleased with Mannix.

Mannix ran a gas line from my basement up to my kitchen. This involved going through my ceiling in my finished basement. Jerry Mannix gave me the estimate for the job and although his estimate was not the lowest I got, his solution for running the line through my ceiling was the best one that I got in terms of how to run the line with the least amount showing on the ceiling. His men did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

The entire process dealing with Mannix including scheduling of appointment for the quote estimate, quote and ordering process, installation scheduling, and the equipment installation was quick, efficient, competitive and professional. I would highly recommend Mannix.

We previously had two installations done by Mannix Heating and Cooling. So clearly we were happy enough the first time to have a second install by them. Great on quality, service and price. I should note that they have a selection of interesting units made by a Japanese company that is as big as Carrier, worldwide...we installed one of those and have been very happy. We needed an emergency check on a one of our units...it was very important for one of our household members due to medical reasons. Despite a snowstorm, they had someout out very quickly. I suspect i am in the top percentile on pickiness and i give them my highest recommendation without qualification.

My thermostat died during the recent ice storm. Mannix came within a couple of hours of my call and fixed the problem. This included inspecting a fuse box that was not easily accessed. The faulty fuse was in a separate box near the unit. It was quickly replaced. Mannix installed my A/C system and water heater almost two years ago. They also do the seasonal maintenance. They are always responsive, easy to schedule, courteous, and - most important - knowledgeable. I appreciate that they always answer any questions and address any concerns fully. I would recommend them without reservation.

Installed a very high efficiency carrier ac unit and furnace with a whole house humidifier.

Both times the technician was on time, professional , and informative. The contract was reasonable, scheduling was easy and accommodating, and I look forward to continuing the relationship.

They were great, and the price was great, but I have to give them a B because they didn't turn the water flow down enough, and I was putting way too much water through the humidifier which drained into my sump pit. This was easy to fix, but I think most people wouldn't have noticed. They also forgot to check whether or not I had a sump pump, assuming that I did, because the AC condensation was already draining there. I did not have a pump, so my pit filled up. If I hadn't been the type of person to notice that sort of thing, it would have overflowed. This all wasn't a big deal though, because I need a pump anyway, and their price was very competitive. The price they've quoted me for a sump pump installation is also very competitive compared to the last bid I received a few months ago. Despite the minor hiccups, they've done a good job.

Replaced dying HVAC system. Mannix gave us options that looked decent and they also gave us the confidence that we were making a reasonable selection. We have had an annual service contract with this company for several years and plan to continue.

It went well. The technician answered my questions to my satisfaction. The price quoted was part of my service agreement with them to do a spring cooling system check and fall heating system check on the heat pump for my condo.

I got three estimates: one company gave me an estimate of over $7,000! Another company gave me estimate a couple of hundred less than Mannix, but they took almost 2 weeks to get back to me. Mannix came out and gave me an estimate the same day. The estimator was prompt, professional, and I was impressed that he was willing to tell me the same day what they would charge me, so I went with them. They installed within a week after they gave me the estimate, and it took them only about 2 hours to take out the old unit and install the new one. The two installers were extremely polite, punctual and professional. I highly recommend Mannix.

During the fall maintenance, the technician spotted that a crucial part of |my heat pump was not working. I have a whole house service warranty with a company that does not include Mannix, but the information helped to get the repair done faster.

The service person arrived precisely at 8am (he provided an 8-9am window) and worked for approximately 2.5 hours. The work was done neatly and he cleaned up after himself completely. The only minor issue was that he must have knocked loose the condensation pump from the water unit, because after he left and the humidifier turned on, we had water spraying in our basement. I immediately called the cell phone number provided by Mannix and talked to someone to report the issue. We received a call back 5 minutes later saying that they were sending over another service person. They arrived within 20 minutes and were able to quickly resolve the problem, without any additional fees. We appreciated their responsiveness, particularly on a Saturday. We will definitely be calling them again for any future HVAC needs.

I have to admit this was the 2nd company I called from Angie's List. The first company told me he did not know when he could get to me with the holiday, and because I was not all ready a customer. So, I called Mannix and should have called them first! The woman who answered was very nice and, scheduled me an appointment at 8:00 am the the next day. The technician showed up on time and diagnosed the burned out fan right away. He gave me a flat rate charge that was reasonable as I had researched pricing online prior to his visit anticipating it had to do with the fan. I am happy to say we now have A/C, and I was very happy with their service!

It went great. Typically the old saying is - time, quality and cost, pick two. With Mannix you get all three. Jerry had his army of professionals at my house the day after we decided on the work to be done. The quality of work was superb and the price was comparable to the other quotes I received and Mannix had a 5 year 0% financing option that was very attractive. Mannix pulled out our old air conditioner, installed our new heat pump with hybrid thermostat and also installed a new "split pack" in our sunroom all within the same day.

The estimator had a couple of things to check and get back to me. He said I would have the answers by Saturday evening. I didn't get anything. It wasn't until after I had another AC company come in and install a new unit that I heard back from Mannix. Nearly two weeks after their estimator visited.

It went very well. They came to the house and provided a quote that was less than other quotes we had received for the same quality Carrier system. They also arranged interest free financing with Carrier. After we agreed to purchase it from them, they came a couple of days later and installed the system in the course of the day. They also removed all of the old system, cleaning up the work area. When it turned out that the thermostat they installed had a defect, they came back the same night and replaced it. The system has been functioning well and has saved us considerable monthly fees in electricity. They came in September (the system was installed in July) to do a semi-annual check up.

The service was performed in a timely manner. They had to reschedule the first time b/c it was not warm enough outside to run the a/c unit. They let us know well in advance that they would need to reschedule based on long-range weather reports. I would use this company again.

Wanted to share my pleasant experience with Mannix Heating and Cooling today. The technician (Bill A.) was very knowledgable and customer service oriented. They were able to fix the problem on the spot and even provided us tips on maintaining the unit. Very knowledge and will definitely be using their service again. We plan on being their permanent customers. Highly recommend!!!
