David, the owner, did a very thorough estimate, and their price was well within the ballpark of the other 3 estimates (not the lowest, but not the most expensive, either). The deciding factors for us were: having access to an interior decorator; Dave's personal interest in making our home beautiful and flexibility; and, having a team that could do carpentry and drywalling. I cannot say enough good things about the crew we had throughout an almost 6 week period to do this job. Juan, the foreman, is experienced, a skilled and creative carpenter as well as a painter, and very personable. Arturo and Cristian were the other members of the crew and were equally experienced, thorough and personable. They communicated well, and made helpful suggestions and improvements. They were on time and worked well with flooring and stair crews that overlapped. We were particularly pleased that Dave came out each and every day to check on progress and offer suggestions. We were also surprised at how flexible and willing to work with us they were when we discovered that we needed much more work in a room downstairs than anticipated. The large paint samples they provided, their attention to detail, their openness, and their wanting to do the best job possible, all made for a successful project. In short, we could not have asked for a better experience...and the results are stunning. We have gone through several major renovations and can say that Dave's crew is right up there at the top.

I obtained a quote in March 2015 to have all of the exterior windows/trim to be painted and 3 windows that would need some rotten trim replaced. The gentleman who came out to give the quote was punctual and polite and it was easy to set up the estimate. We had to replace a few windows due to the actual window being rotten, which they don't do, so we contacted another contractor and by the time the 2 windows were replaced we had other projects that took priority so we put off the painting until Dec 2015. I contacted the company and asked if the quote was still good from March 2015(8-12 hours of painting and 8-16 hours carpentry), hourly rate of $85/hour for painter and $110/hour for carpenter. They honored the estimate and we scheduled the work. Therefore the high end of the estimate would be 12x$85 and 16x$110 = $2780 plus materials(wood/paint). The windows they did paint were done well. I have 2 problems with their work though. They missed a basement bedroom window completely and they left the upper sash on about 6 windows 1-2 inches open when they left for the night. The paint dried and I had to use a knife to separate the paint from weather stripping and the wood to close the open windows(in January, very cold). When they were done I received a bill for $5958.25. That's 57 hours of painting and 9 hours of carpentry plus materials. I brought up the difference from the estimated 12 hours to the actual 57 hours billed with the office staff and they said they were sorry but estimates can vary. I didn't bring up the missed window as I didn't want to pay for anymore service and I understand a mistake like this can happen as the basement window is not in plain sight. To be fair, I asked them when they began work to paint 2 exterior doors on our deck and that was not in the original estimate, but I don't think that justifies the added time and the cost to be doubled. I searched Angie's list for this painter and got numerous quotes, this was not the cheapest but I expected quality. Very disappointed.

I am so happy that we chose Williams Professional Painting. Everything about our experience with Williams was positive. First, our estimator, Jose, was very professional and responsive, and we appreciated his advice on painting needs for our home. He also patiently answered my questions on several occasions as we prepared for painting. I also needed painting done on a tight schedule and, despite an initial small mix-up in the scheduling, Williams was able to very quickly and professionally resolve the issue and assured me that the project would be finished on time (and it was!), even if it required extra painters, which put me at ease. (I should also at this point say that all of their office staff I interacted with, and in particular Yanize and Amy, were kind, professional and understanding. I also appreciated that there was an office point of contact available during the day if needed.) The quality of the interior painting work itself was top notch and beautifully done, and the painting team, Dagoberto and Carlos (along with Franklin on the first day) were professional, skilled, courteous and considerate. They arrived right on time each day and worked very hard, producing beautifully painted rooms. I felt very much at ease with them in our house and appreciated the attention to detail of their work. They went above and beyond in their painting work and worked hard cleaning up all of the painting materials and dust afterwards. In short, our experience with Williams was a wholly positive one, and I would not hesitate to use Williams again and recommend Williams to others. My impression, based on the whole of my experience, from first contact with Williams and working with the office staff, painters and other staff, is that Williams truly cares about their customers, their employees, and the quality of their work. This is exactly the type of business I want to patronize and l look forward to using Williams again on a future painting project.

We had previously used Williams Professional Painting; so we knew we would get quality work. Bryan and Carlos were very professional. They arrived on time both days, worked quickly and produced outstanding results. The upper floor of the townhouse was especially difficult due to the shape of the ceiling and accessibility to some of the walls. Again, I was very pleased with how they accomplished the task and the speed with which they moved. I would not hesitate to call on Williams Professional Painting again. They are a little expensive; but well worth the expense. Bryan and Carlos are excellent painters...ask for them if you use their service.

We were well satisfied with the work. The painters were on time, professional, and courteous. We were especially pleased to find that the home office was available to direct questions to the appropriate people. We would certainly use them again.

Bryan Pinto, one of William's foremen, and his team showed up early the first day and performed their work with efficiency and care. The team finished the job promptly and did excellent work, carefully executing detailed carpentry work on crown trim and painting as high as the peak of our four story town-home. Very impressed with their work and would hire again.

Work quality was excellent - these folks do an excellent job paying close attention to detail and cleanliness - which is a LOT more noticeable and important with interior work. Entire job took about 2.5 weeks to complete. Other renovations in the house threw the painting schedule off initial schedule and Williams made the necessary adjustments after minor pleading. I dealt with Nelson as the estimator/project manager - professional - and Dagoberto as the main on-site foreman. Dagoberto is a very customer friendly individual and did everything he could to honor our requests - even painting one room twice after we didn't like the original color. If you go with Williams, I'd highly recommend Dagoberto as your foreman. The only downside was the price. Williams was significantly more than the 2 other estimates I received, but along with the solid recommendation of a neighbor - I was willing to make the investment for extra careful interior work - and I absolutely did receive that.... For me it was worth it on the interior. The exterior estimate I received from Williams was again significantly more than other estimates I received, and as a result - I did not have them complete the exterior work and I am happy w/ that decision. Overall - excellent work.

We had a great experience. The estimator (Alvis) was efficient and knowledgeable. The designer (Lisa) who helped us pick colors was skilled at putting together color combinations that looked good and matched our tastes. The painters/plasterers (Santos and Carlos) did an exceptional job to make our home look like new. I even had a chance to meet Mr. Williams who was very professional and down to earth. My only (very minor) critique would be that the cleanup after the job was finished could have been a touch better.

I would highly recommend Williams! We were concerned that our windows were painted with lead paint, and would require extensive cleaning, so received a few quotes to remedy. Turns out that we didn't have lead paint, but we decided to have the windows professionally painted anyways. Their quote was mid-range in price, but it was clear that a quality job would be done in a timely fashion. During the quote, timeline for the work was discussed and the work could be performed the very next week! Exactly what we were hoping for! Fast forward a few days to the day of the job and the foreman was a few minutes early, worked hard all day long, and our windows are painted beautifully.

Great. They were able to get started earlier than originally estimated and completed the job in a timely manner. They power washed, scraped, sanded, caulked (even applied an epoxy filler where some trim had rotted out near the ground), and painted everything beatifically, even some very high and almost impossible to reach locations. Place has never looked better. All the while maintaining a professional attitude and friendly demeanor. Ricardo S. organized everything and kept things on track, and I believe, even finished faster than they figured. He even saw that one spot above a window didn't get covered completely, and even though I couldn't see what he saw, he insisted on getting out the paint and a brush to touch up the frame to his satisfaction.

We had a great experience with Williams Professional Painting and would definitely hire them again. Our foreman, Carlos S. and Ernesto did a fantastic job! They always arrived on time, were courteous and professional and at the end of the day they made sure the space was clean and tidy. They executed the job very well and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

The person conducting the estimating work ( Alvis) was extremely professional and knowledgable. He was friendly, exactly on time and very responsive in providing the bid. We obtained two bids and while the other was lower we wanted to assure excellent work and since the estimator was able to fully explain why paint that had been put on our front door in the past did not stick (first person to be able to diagnose the problem) we decided that this and their current reputation on Angie's list coupled with their years in service meant that the higher price would likely be worth it - and it was. The painters arrived on time, were careful to propertly move and cover furniture and other items, carefully laid tape to block off areas NOT to be painted and completed the job fully in two days as projected. They were helpful - having a larger crew come the first day to help move some heavy items and the scheduling person readjusted the initial scheduled time as our floor project ran over. The foreman throughout remained in communication on issues and was very responsive to any request I had. Cristian Reyes was the foreman and excellent. The cost may be higher but I gave it an A as it is worth the money

Dave Williams and foreman Franklin are both fantastic to work with. We have used Williams Professional Painting 3-4 times before (painting different parts of our home each time) and each time they showed the same exceptional service. Dave is always responsive to phone calls and emails and Franklin is so nice and professional. Franklin moved all of the furniture away from the two walls and then went straight to work. The work was probably completed in a little over an hour and the walls looked great. Finding a plumber or electrician that you trust and is reasonable on price may be difficult, but finding a fantastic painting company was easy for me. We plan on using Williams Professional Painting in the future.

BEST painting company we have ever used. Mr. Williams is professional, easy to work with and has very reasonably prices. We pland on having his company do some interior painting fall 2015.

They were very professional and friendly, as well as trustworthy. The work they did was top notch. I would definitely recommend them again and use them again.

Even though we had many delays and stops and starts, WPP were always cheerful to respond and did the work professionally. The crews were always eager to be sure that the customer was happy with all their work. We had a challenging job because our townhouse is over 50 years old, but this was no problem for WPP. The price initially quoted by WPP may be higher than others, but, they seem to build in enough contingency in their fee so that if you encounter any bumps in the road, they have "no problem" responding. That is not true with other painting contractors in our experience. Also, the billing office and owners are available if you have questions and are happy to discuss options or any concerns you might run into. Everyone at WPP was a pleasure to work with. Rare these days!

From the estimator, to the painters, to the owner - a top quality crew. Estimator was prompt, courteous and professional. This was a 5-day project. The painters were superior with excellent skills (including all dry wall patching and nail pop repair). They were professional, arrived on time, and cleaned up every day. The work looks so good that we don't want to re-hang our pictures and paintings. We have used Williams Professional Painting for 15 years and will not use another company. (Although we do get quotes from other companies to see the competition.)

Excellent work. These guys do charge a bit more than some others, but they are meticulous, polite and professional .The painter who did the job spent a LOT of time covering everything and taping up sheeting on the walls to enssure that nothing was damaged from the painting. He did a great job and, at the end, when I pointed out a small area that needed a tiny touch up, he happily took care of it (instead of complaining that he'd already packed up most of his stuff.) I also like that the supervisors check in (even on a one-day project) - when the painter had a question, he contacted the supervisor, and he came over very quickly while we discussed our options. In my opinion, they are worth the extra money. Also, look out on their FB page for deals - especially in the winter - ours covered free paint.

I could set my watch by their timeliness. They were courteous and responsive to any request I had to attend to an area of concern, e.g., correct a slight imperfection in an original sheet rock seam. Also, very important to me, is the carefulness and cleanliness of the work processes. The guys were extremely attentive to putting catch mats down in all places and in how they managed paint preparation and stowage of materials and tools at the end of the day. The job looks beautiful. This is the second time I have used Williams Professional Painting and, in fact, just called them for a minor repair in a ceiling that I just noticed.

Excellent work by the entire staff, from the owner who provided the overall estimate, to the workers and office staff. Professional, polite and punctual in all aspects. Work entailed carpentry, wallpaper removal, wall prep, crown moulding/boxes, chair rails and painting. We met with the company designer for color consult and some additional suggestions. Overall project took about a week. JB is a master carpenter and painter. He and his partner were punctual, worked diligently, and did a compete clean-up every day. JB did a walk-thru upon completion of the work to ensure we were completely satisfied. We have used Williams Professional Painting before for both interior and exterior painting and have been extremely pleased each time.

The work was done quickly and on budget however I have spent the intervening months scrapping small drops of paint off the floor and will have to re-stain patches on the hardwood floors where paint was dropped and in-completely cleaned up. I have also noticed that they did not effectively smooth out mud lines at drywall joints before painting in some areas.

The room looks great. I did most of the prep and sanding myself.

On first blush, excellent work, although changed out the paint brand that was discussed for another . . . but the color was the same, so no biggie there. There were a couple missed spots and the paint started to bubble in the guest bathroom, but (good to their warranty) they came to fix it and did so.

We are very pleased with the recent paint work completed by Ricardo Salas and his partner. Both gentlemen did an outstanding job. They were professional, efficient and timely. I will not hesitate to call Williams Professional Painting the next time we need a painter.

We had Williams paint the entire inside of the house back in 2010. That job was excellent. We were very apprehensive about having to move everything and the disruption, but the Williams crew made it as painless as possible. They even painted AFTER we had white carpet installed and not a drop touched the carpet! So when it was time to get some outside work done [in later summer 2014], we naturally turned to Williams. This painting involved foundation, soffits, windows, porch, and staining the porch floor. The crew (Jorge and Rodrigo, with Joyner the second day) were great. They were professional and courteous, showed up when expected, took great care when coming inside for the window work (white carpets!), worked efficiently, got the work done on the low side of the time estimate. Williams is very good about scheduling work and keeping their schedule commitments. They are not "cheap painters" and you really get value for what you pay. Dave Williams and the office staff are easy to work with. The quality of the painting looks great and we would definitely use Williams again. +++++++++++++++++++++++++ UPDATE: May 2015 After a hard winter, we noticed that the stain on the front porch steps was peeling and coming off. Was it the ice and snow? Our icemelter? Not sure. But when I contacted Williams to ask about it, they reminded me they have a 2 year workmanship warranty and cheerfully arranged for a customer service team to come fix it! No questions asked, no blame. Les came out and sanded and re-stained the steps (the rest of the porch was fine). What a great company! I would definitely use them again because of their quality, responsiveness, and service.
