When the cleaning people arrived, I was surprised to hear that they would be finished in an hour. I said I thought I was getting 4 hours. The person told me that they have 4 people and that it was for 4 man hours. I didn't see how they could clean the whole house in an hour. It has been a while and I can't really remember just how long they were here, but it was more than an hour. perhaps 2 or so hours. They told me that they did not get to the living room, which was in the old section of the house. However, since I had just had the rug cleaned, I was not that disappointed. We had just finished adding on to this old house which took a year and therefore it was quite dirty. I was just happy for what they did get done.

They did an excellent job, were courteous, and very understanding and professional in handling and scheduling the emergency cleaning service. My floors and apartment were gleaming. Unbelievable hard and very dusty/dirty job, and they went beyond my expectations of what clean looks like. Very hard working and professional. I would recommend this cleaning service to anyone. I have ended up hiring them on a monthly basis for cleaning my home.

Sarah was wonderful. She worked very hard and did a very thorough job. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely use them again in the future.

I've been doing my own house cleaning up until now. But I have a large house, my eyes are not as good as they once were, and I just have not been keeping up as I should. Sarah's ladies came in and did a thorough cleaning in my office, living room, dining room, master bedroom, hallways and two full baths. That took about two and a half hours (five manhours) but that was partly because the dust was a bit thicker than it would have been had I been keeping up. They dusted on top of and under everything. They vacumed furniture, cleaned blinds, rolled up throw rugs to mop floors . . . just generally did a real good job. Am not sure if the price is high or low or average because I haven't tried any other cleaning services to know what they deliver for the price they charge. But I am satisfied enough with Sparkle Clean to have hired them to come on a regular basis. The plan is for them to continue to do all of those areas plus add the kitchen and half bath. I'll be paying them $180 to come once per month. Later, I may switch to every other week which would cost less per cleaning, but more in total.

We bought a deal on AList to test out a new cleaning service and were pleased enough at pricing and outcome to ask them back. Rate shown is based on new agreement, not deal price. Team is polite and FAST. 2 ladies come for 2 hours and knock out the whole house. Prior cleaners we've used have sent just one person and it made for a 4 hour midday interruption instead of the SparkleClean team doing it in two. They worked around 2 work-at-home parents, 1 toddler, and 2 grandparents to get us cleaned up before (and now after) the holidays. Clean is not perfect but anything missed is called out and dealt with quickly. Happy with communication with the owner and speed to resolve any questions.

The SparkleClean team did an outstanding job deep cleaning our house (~1800 sq feet) - it exceeded my expectations! The cleaning team (2 people) arrived promptly and did an excellent job, with no detail left uncleaned. It's never looked this good! The owner, Sarah, was great to work with: she scheduled us promptly, responded quickly to my questions, and all-around provided friendly, professional, high-quality customer service.

Worked my request into their already busy schedule, as I was pushed for time before settlement. Owner very pleasant and accommodating for my request. Only complaint was the 2 cleaners arrived two hours late, but did a very good cleaning. Buyer of unit complimented on cleanliness of townhouse.

I contacted the provider several days ahead to discuss the details. We agreed on 1-2 persons for 3 hrs or if available 3 people for 1.5 hrs. The maids arrived on time. I discussed the details of my priority list with the supervisor in charge of the 3 person crew. The bathrooms and kitchens are done very well. However there was a slight misunderstanding wth the dusting. I requested that dusting was done in all other rooms and not to worry about carpets as they would be cleaned later. They did the opposite, however it was noticed prior to completion of the job. They stayed a tad longer to accomodate the issue. I voluntarily paid a tad additional for their willingness to work with the situation, and their customer service mindset.

Bought a big deal and was unable to use because I was outside the serviceable area of Fairfax County which is not communicated anywhere in the deal. I needed a deep cleaning before family came into town before the holidays. By the time I tried to contact another company it was too late due to high volumes during the holidays. **update: The vendor sent me an email via Angie's List message center within 24 hrs updating me on the fact they were unable to facilitate their Big Deal. I understand that technically, this type of notification falls under the guidelines of appropriate responsiveness but I would have expected either a coinciding email (personal account) or phone call. I've worked with over a dozen vendors and none of them have used the message center function to contact me so I was unaware that I needed to log on to Angie's list to review vendor emails. I have updated my original responsiveness score to reflect this information and recommended the owner to change Fairfax county as a serviceable area since they do not cover all residents.

The ladies who came to clean our house were amazing. When they arrived we had painters working all throughout the house and they could only get to a few rooms. They were so sweet and offered to come back that evening, giving up part of their Friday night. We were leaving town in the morning and our Agent was having an open house at our home. If it was not for these ladies and their generosity we may not have gotten everything done for the open house. Not only did everything get done, but we got 2 offers that week, and got several compliments on how clean the house was. Thank you!!!

Contacted Sparkle Clean and they gave me a variety of dates and times. The ladies arrived on time. I asked to have the fridge and oven cleaned inside and they did a great job. I liked them so much that I booked another session on the 23rd of December, Just in time for Christmas. Again, they arrived on time and did a great job. I plan to use Sparkle Clean in the future. The price is good and the ladies took the time to attend to my needs.

It went very well. I talked with Sarah and provided direction. I went home prior to going to my dr appt as the 2 cleaners were to be there. They weren't, so called Sarah and she let me know some of the homes were taking a little longer than expected and that in order to do my home she would send in an addition person to ensure they finished my place. When I finished my dr appt, stopped by the house and they were there and were finished before my husband got home which meant it took less than 2 hrs. Great job and the place was spotless. Could not have been happier. Having the extra person ensured the work got done. We will be having them back. I have had a few housekeepers in our homes and they really did a terrific job.

Great Experience! I thought the time given was a little short for the work that needed to be done.

The service was great. I liked everything about their services. They were excellent. They did a very good job overall on the entire house. They were very polite and they arrived on time. The cleaning was very well done. The stove cleaning was also excellent. I spent maybe $50 more on top of the big deal.

Very disappointed with this, if the companies cannot honor the big deals why are they advertised? The quality of the workmanship from the big deals I have ordered has been sadly lacking. I thought that companies would be looking for new business and put more effort into their service. Instead, I have received service from people that were inexperienced or trying to get in and out as fast as possible.

It turned out that the cleaners ran short of time and so they asked whether I preferred them to focus on the kitchen or on vacuuming and cleaning floors and dusting. I chose the vacuuming and cleaning of the floors and dusting in the kitchen, living room, and dining room instead of the kitchen. So the kitchen didn't really get a deep cleaning. I haven't used cleaning services for a while so I'm not sure whether I had a right to expect them to complete the work faster so that the full job could have been completed. It's not a small house but it's not a mansion either. Overall the quality was good. The parts of the house that had a deep cleaning were cleaned well. And the whole house looked better when they left. After the cleaners left we discovered that the shower hook in the master bathroom was broken. It wasn't a major problem; my husband was able to replace it at little cost, but I think they should have mentioned that to me so that I could replace it before my next shower. I haven't reported this to management since I'm not planning on using the services again, mostly because I see that they base services on hourly rates. And since the job was not completed in the 6 hours worth of cleaning, I am not sure an hourly rate is the approach I want to take. I think I prefer a flat fee for a specified set of services.

One of them went around the house with me before they started so they knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want. They also made sure that I checked the house before they left to see if there was anything that I was not pleased with. They did a beautiful job and all 3 ladies were very personable and pleasant. I walked around my house afterwards and said to myself, "I have a really nice house when its clean!" Very pleased with Sparkleclean.

They did a great job cleaning my house, and a day later I'm still noticing how great everything looks. My only warning would be that they seem busy (other people must also think they clean well), and so they weren't able to fit me in right away. The owner seemed flexible, though-- if I had pushed she might have been able to squeeze me into their schedule.

They did an excellent job of cleaning. I asked them to focus specifically on my blinds and hardwood floors. Everything was done so well. This is one of the best cleanings I've ever had. They were very pleasant and I would definitely use them again.

Everything was great! It was really good having them. They just did a really good job. They came in and did it quickly and efficiently. We're still actually using them. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They came out to do the work the next week after I purchased the deal. The price was great. They were really responsive and quick. They got here right on time.

The house cleaners did a fine job. There were 2 ladies and both were pleasant and courteous. I am sensitive to chemical smells and they showed me which products they planned to use and let me decide which ones were ok. They also used some of my own cleaning products. They worked diligently and did a pretty thorough job. There were a couple dust bunnies under the bed when they left, but overall they did at least as well as other cleaning services that I've used, if not better. The owner was very easy to communicate. She called immediately after the cleaning people left, asked whether the cleaning met my expectations, and provided a quote for other services. Although the price for ongoing services is higher than I would be willing to pay, I would recommend the company and likely will use them again in the future.

They started on our top floor with 3 bedrooms and a full bath. They moved methodically through the house, moving from the top floor to the main level (to include kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms, the master bedroom, 1 full bath and 1 half bath (with laundry area). Finally, the team hit the lower level family room, office, bar and second kitchen area. They completed all of this to our satisfaction in about 3 hours. When we reviewed their work, we were completely satisfied. The bathrooms sparkled; they even cleaned every ceiling fan (5 in all). This is another team we found on Angie's list that we intend to use again (and again...).
