I bought a couple coupon books that included 6 oil changes for $60. This averages to $10 which is a pretty good deal. But every time my wife takes her car in they charge her an additional $5 because it's a "non-standard" grade of oil (not true). Not a huge deal, but annoying when the coupon doesn't have any exclusions to it! I just felt like they weren't being honest and exploited my wife's inexperience.
Secondly they wanted almost $400 dollars for a tune up ($20 per spark plug). I thought this was WAAAY too much and I was able to get the plugs from the dealership for only $9.50. So their markup for parts is 100%. Very steep considering most shops do a 25% markup.
Also, my friend had a coupon with them for a radiator flush and they wouldn't honor it.
