Mr Fesus is highly unprofessional (rather nonprofessional) - We hired Mr. Fesus for fan install. After reviewing the location of installation and providing an estimate there after, he left the job halfway through without making right electrical connections or completing. Mr. Fesus, would not respond to phone calls or text messages which is not expected for a professional handyman. We also plan to complain to right government authorities so as to help others of such rip off. Please beware at all costs.

This review is specifically for Festus K. He is so professional and detailed and was a pleasure to work with. I read the reviews about a little pricey and if anyone is counting their pennies it me.. but I feel you get what you pay for. I trusted the reviews and have never been happier to pay for the workman ship I received. He put on a new chimmney cap and cover. He replaced crumbled bricks b4 installation and had to come out 3 times due to unforeseen issues that were not quoted once he started the job and he did not try to upcharge.. he simply said that part of the job it you are going to do it right. I would recommend Festus to anyone who wants it done right and though the first time. And the price by the way was very fair.. he sent videos and pictures every step of the way and explained everything... best money to a contractor I have ever spent.

He did a great job at a reasonable cost

Festus did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem and putting our fireplace in working condition again. He cleaned up nicely afterward. We highly recommend him.

He repaired our nonworking gas logs and got them working with the remote.He did a good job on the cleaning up and keeping the worksite in good shape.

Very professional and completed the job the day I called. His hourly rate for labor seemed high but in the end was fair.

Good service

A plumber from a reputable company told us that our gas fireplace that was not working required major repairs that would require the removal and replacement of bricks a major expense. We decided to get another opinion and we contacted FMGS. So glad we did. Fester came to our house and had our fireplace working in less than 30 minutes. He ordered a new key for the valve and returned to do a thorough cleaning which the fireplace clearly needed. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. He patiently explained what he was doing at every step. The cost was very reasonable and I highly recommend this company.

I made the mistake of not asking for a firm estimate before he started pottering around. After 2 hours, fiddling with this and that, he charged $400. He replaced no parts, did the equivalent of an inspection (should run about $150) . There was nothing wrong with the fireplace, just checked out each part and got the system going. If you do hire him, make sure you insist on a firm estimate up front!
