They contacted me today, they waited an entire week before they told me that it was too much work and I should find a handyman.

The crew at Southern painting did an excellent job power washing my roof and home before painting. I have a large stucco home that required expertise and skill to paint, and the painters were steadfast and meticulous in completing the job. High quality is what I was looking for and Southern Painting delivered. Thank you Yoni, Saul, Abel, Elmer, Alex and Daniel.

This was hands down the best business experience with professionals coming for work on my home we have ever had!! Yoni is the consummate professional, his crew was timely, polite, and had an immaculate level of attention to detail. Perfection is the result. We were pleasantly surprised that for the quality of work, the job was affordable. Of all the contractors we have hired over the years, Yoni and his crew are by far the most responsive and professional of all. We are thrilled over the finished paint job (interior paint 3000+ sq ft home)! We are already planning our next project for Yoni who is now our go-to for any home improvement projects (cabinet painting is next) in his area of expertise. We HIGHLY recommend!!!

Yoni came to the home to inspect the job and I immediately could see he knows about painting, instead of many companies that send someone to quote a job yet have never done the job. Upon receiving the quote I hired Yoni for the job even though his quote was the higher price. Yoni assured me he would send an experienced crew for such a large job. Saul the foreman and his crew were punctual, neat and thorough. It is amazing this job was finished in 6 days. The cleanup was good, I will say when you have a complete home sprayed it will be messy. After the job was complete I noticed a linen cabinet had not been painted and Yoni had the crew back in 3 days to take care of it. Many times after payment you can forget getting the company back to the job site. I was so impressed and extremely happy with the outcome of the job done. Thanks so much Yoni.

Yoni and the crew were fantastic! Finished in two days, instead of the projected three. It was a great job!! Will call them again, for sure.

The work they did was eventually done very well after a couple of callbacks for some details that needed to be re-addressed. But there was a disagreement in the end about some work that they agreed to do and I felt like it was between the owner and the lead person. It was difficult to get those concerns addressed. My reason for selecting them is that the skill base of their workers was more than just painting. They come with carpentry skills and that was important since I am working on a distressed property. They stood out from other companies in that regard. The owner of the company said they would replace the baseboard and the lead just patched it. I got tired of complaining about it so I just gave up. I wasn't happy with what they did with the baseboard. This is a quote from the owner, "We are not the cheapest in town," and he was correct. Quality is an A with a caveat that they had to come out more than once and had to address a lot of concerns. They repainted my windowsills after the second visit because they weren't done properly the first time. It was just good enough for me to give them an A on that. I'm not sure if I will use them again. I definitely will entertain quotes from other companies. They're good but get everything in writing. That way there is no miscommunication between the owner and the lead.

It would be As for everything except for one thing; they don't return phone calls. I still have one issue that's not resolved. They took our toilet off when they were doing painting and when they put it back on they didn't seal it properly. It's still leaking and they haven't come back to fix it but as far as the actual painting work they did it was awesome. They were tremendous but the follow up and answering phone calls leave a lot to be desired.

We really appreciated that they put down drop cloths everywhere, including areas they would be walking. They did a really good job of painting the rooms and ceilings, pointing out areas that needed to be retextured. We are perfectionists and asked gem to straighten some lines...and no problem. Also love that we could pay with a credit card.

| am pleased with the final results.  There was some overspray in some areas that they first responded that it was already there (from last deck painting years ago) but they came back to look at what I was discussing and agreed with me and were able to clean it up to my satisfaction.  This was second time we used this company and I would use them again.

Went okay.  They left some things behind we had to clean up, old rollers, one sink was clogged with brush bristles.  Some paint left on tile floor.

Painting went well. After painting was completed and few days later I noted that some of my texture areas of my walls were not smooth  which showed  bumpy looking spot on the wall. I was told that they can come back in and fixed the texture area but will be an additional cost. I was under the impression that  fixing all unsmooth texture areas were part of painting the house. I have to rehire some else to fix these unsmooth these texture area and repaint those same area again. The remaining of the house was painted well.

I as a rule do not write reviews or make recommendations but in this case I will. A crew of 4 painters worked from 8:30 to 6PM each day. Their work was very professional.(best I have ever seen). A neighbor saw their work and hired them to do their house. Will hire them for our next job.

It was a long process and took several weeks, and not a cheap process either. They were competitive. The foreman stayed on site and he was there often and in contact with us, so that we knew what was going on and how many people were going to be around that day. He just made sure that we were aware of the progress. We weren't living in the house at the time. They made it look like a new house when it was all done especially with the brick ceilings and everything. It transformed the house after it was done, so that was really good. We had some other quotes and they were just as expensive. They were there all the time.

Great job! I have cathedral ceilings and needed most of my 3800 SF house painted. They are meticulous and so very polite. The previous owners pained all the trim and doors cream, so I asked to have that repainted white. It looks better then new and they aren't even finished yet. We opted for 2nd coats of paint for a few hundred more. My mother in law just purchased a house in down the street in the Stone Oak area and we already have them booked! I highly recommend this company!

Southern Painting was just awesome. Yoni, the salesman, came to the house for the estimate and did a thourough walk around, told us what to expect and left a written estimate on the spot. They came out and powerwased the house, sealed the cracks, and covered all the windows. They did a wonderful job. They didn't spill a drop and even painted the hardware and metal railings on my porch, I was concerned about using a sprayer and they handpainted a great deal as well. I was able to use a 10 % off coupon and they were 2000.00 cheaper than another company! I was just thrilled at the quality of the work. Price included 3 different colors of Sherwin Williams Durationpaint. I will hire them again. Thanks Yoni.

Freddy provided me with the quote. I gave him my budget and he let me know how much of my request they could do. Tony (supervisor) and his crew were amazing! Professional, hard-working and did the job beautifully. They transformed my house! I have very high standards, and this company has blow me away with their work ethic and skill. I'll add more photos once it's totally done.

The initial job was performed very well. The contractor listened to our concerns (that the new material match the existing material and that the appropriate steps be taken so that the wood being replaced woul not rot again like it did in the first place). Also, we had gotten bids on the same work before which seemed significantly over-priced; Southern Painting's bid was much lower and more in-line with what we thought the job would cost. The work was excellent, and the cost matched the estimate.
But then...
About a month after the work, we thought we could hear water running, but could not determine where. After a few more weeks a wet spot developed outside the house where the siding had been replaced. Initially, we thought maybe a sprinkler line had been cracked during the siding work, but the sprinkler repairman informed us that the water was coming from inside the house. We contacted a plumber and Southern Painting and both parties met at our house on the same day. Southern Painting had pulled off the bottom siding board prior to the plumber arriving and - sure enough - one of the last nails shot to secure the last piece of siding had pierced a copper water line, just above the foundation. Southern Painting immediately took responsibility for the problem and told the plumber to bill their company for the repair. The plumber (who we called) fixed the problem and (after a few days to dry-out) repalced the siding, and it looked as good as new.
But then...
We began to detect a moldy smell in the kitchen (right on the other side of the wall where the leak had been). We contacted Southern Painting (again) and they cam right out. Two cabinets had to be removed (inculding the one housing the built-in microwave and regular oven) and, sure enough, water had gotten in to be base of the cabinet and wicked up the drywall about three feet. Southern Painting took the cabinets and had them repaired (better than new - the particle board was replaced with plywood) replaced and floated the affected drywall, and got the cabinets (and oven) reinstalled in time for Thanksgiving. While we were inconvenienced, we were not charged for any of this work.
I have no doubt Southern Painting lost money on this job, but they won a customer because they did the right thing. Stuff goes wrong - that's just life. But when a person or company steps up and makes it right, they earn my respect. When I have the entire house painted (in a year or two), this is the company I will call.

I've used them twice, and they did an excellent job both times. They arrived on time, took care to avoid getting paint on the floors and windows, and completed the job two days ahead of schedule. They were also very quiet and non-intrusive while they worked which I appreciated. They do great work, and I would highly recommend them.
