False Promises: Don’t Pay Them Until the Work is Completed! We initially found David and Gloria Pulido of Showcase Custom Designs (Homesphere Enterprises LLC) through their Instagram posts showcasing their work in late 2023. We hired them to design and paint three walls and install four custom curtains in our home. The total estimate for these projects came out to over $6,000. After discussing the cost with David, he indicated that they might be able to offer a discount if we proceeded with all four projects. However, shortly after, Gloria contacted us in a very aggressive manner, refusing to offer any discount. Although she eventually agreed to a slight reduction in price, she made it clear that she was unhappy about it. We were asked to pay for the curtains in cash, which we found unusual, but we went ahead with it. The total for the curtains was $1,850. The painting of the walls was satisfactory, but the curtains were a different story. The curtains that were installed were not the color we had been promised—they had a purple/pink tint instead of the silver we expected. Additionally, the curtains were damaged, with frayed parts and scratches, making them appear used. During the final walk-through, David acknowledged the issues and offered to replace the curtains with a different color, Champagne, at no additional cost. With this in mind and having most of the work already completed, we paid the final balance. However, when we later communicated with Gloria, she was very angry about the replacement, claiming David had no authority to make such decisions. Despite her initial resistance, she finally agreed to replace the curtains, but after months of excuses and delays, she stopped responding to our inquiries altogether. To make matters worse, she blocked my wife on Instagram, yet continued to post pictures of other customers' installations, including the Champagne curtains we were supposed to receive. It has now been over seven months since this ordeal began, and we are still without the promised curtains or a refund. We feel that Homesphere Enterprises LLC has acted in bad faith, and this entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend their services and would advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.
