I love that I can schedule my appointment online. I was able to get the date and time that worked for my schedule without having to take off work. The doctor was nice. I was seen on time for my appointment. I lost my prescription about a week after the appointment. No problem. I sent an email through my patient online portal account requesting a copy and they were able to provide me a copy.

I went in for a new prescription for reading and everyday progressive lenses. I was able to get an appointment the same day. The exam was thorough and she took her time during the exam and with me to be sure I got the best results. I was impressed and would recommend her to others.

Dr. Palomino did an extensive eye exam and I was very impressed. She was easy to talk, asked pertinent questions and listen to me when I spoke.

New to the area needed to find eye doctor. The office is nice and comfortable. Unfortunately there was a fire alarm in the building but everything was fine. She recommended a better manufactured contact lens that has improved my eye comfort. She will be my go to eye clinic moving forward - thanks!

The eye exam went very well. Dr. Palomino is very pleasant and very patient. She took her time with me making sure that I was comfortable with fitting me with the proper contacts that I wanted. She let me try a couple of pairs of contacts until I was sure that they were a perfect fit before I ordered therm.
Description of Work
Needed my yearly eye exam. I am new to the San Antonio area, therefore, I was looking for a good provider to examine my eyes. The interaction with Dr. Palomino went very well. She was very pleasant and very thorough during her exam.

Dr. Palomino and her husband's shop is the Vision Place. My daughter got fitted for glasses and I had a vision check and bought glasses. Dr. Palomino suggested fitting me for computer glasses (progressives) that allow me to work with a large PC monitor and read hard copy without having to change reading glasses. Service was great, she is very patient friendly and her staff is customer oriented.

The woman at the front desk was very nice. The location was ideal. The facility was nice. However, I didn't care for the doctor and found her to be "chilly" and not as friendly as I'm used to. She did everything I expected for the exam but I want a doctor who has a warmer disposition.

It went great! I really appreciate Dr. Palomino's expertise and honesty on what the best approach for my eyes would be. She took her time and did the right job for my particular needs. It only involved 3 visits and I am very, very happy with my new contacts. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Palomino to anyone.

Initial discussion was to discuss getting prescription from hard lens to soft lenses in order to get laser surgery done. She explained why it was probably not the best option for me and went on to prescribe soft lenses. This involed several trips for checking the progress of my shape changing.

Went in for a routine eye exam for $59. Everything went well, but when she asked if I wanted my eyes dilated, I said "sure." I didn't realize there would be an extra charge. She did not inform me of this. The total cost of the exam was $99, I believe. Please be aware that there is going to be an extra charge for dilation. Next time, I will just go to an ophthalmologist for an exam since they actually treat and diagnose conditions of the retina. Be aware that Dr. Palomino is an optometrist--not ophthalmologist.

Dr. Palomino was great! They were on time, only one other patient was in the office at the time and they got to me quickly. I liked being able to see her on a Saturday which is much more conveniet for me. Online appointment booking was also very convenient. I was in and out in under an hour. Ordered contacts which came in quickly and were ready for pick up when I arrived.

I arrived at 9:45 am and was greeted promptly. I was asked to fill out some paperwork and did so while I waited for Dr. Palomino to see me. About 10 min later she called me in and asked my about my concerns. I told her my concerns (described above) and she proceeded with my exam. Everything checked out just fine. We discussed that maybe I just needed computer glasses. I agreed. She gave me a separate computer glasses prescription. She indicated she would be charging Medicare for my exam and I left.

My vision has been blurry lately and I needed to get my eyes checked. Dr. Palomino examined me last year and so I decided to return to her. She had since moved to a new office but almost as convenient as the first one. She was very professional and friendly. We were able to determine that my problem was not my prescription but my glasses. I like her new office and her staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Dr. Palomino was very thorough, and very pleasant. She examined my eyes completely and quickly explained my problem. Her staff was also very friendly and helpful, and the office itself was immaculate. Lots of frames to choose from. Will definitely go back.

Dr. Palomino is very professional, knowledgeable, and effective with her eye exams and suggestions for corrective vision. I was fitted for contact lenses and glasses. My experience with Dr. Palomino and her staff was very good. I will use her again in the future when the need arises.
