Took them about a day to complete. They also did a top off of fluids and made me aware of problems that they found and gave me a quote on a fix. I also had two other quotes on the job and they were $100 under the other quotes

Option Transmission Service does so much more than Transmissions. They are the best mechanics in the area from my experience. John and his crew are very competent and stand by their work. I have taken both of my vehicles in for different kinds of mechanical work. They are honest and dependable. These mechanics are meticulous and attentive to detail. John McLeod, Owner, honored his quoted estimate despite some unexpected repairs absorbing a few hundred dollars in expenses. The work was high quality and the customer kept well informed during the entire progress. I used Option as they were recommended by my trusted mechanic of over 20 years. I know something about mechanical work and would recommend Option Transmission if you want the job done right at a fair price. Transmission overhauls should be left to the experts who use quality parts and Option Transmission definitely fits that criteria. I have had bad transmission work done and only wish I had learned about John McLeod and Option Transmission earlier. John and his mechanics worked until late on a Saturday night just to finish the job on time. He gets my highest recommendation.

I dealt exclusively with the owner, John McLeod , who kept me advised of progress in locating parts and assembling the unit. He and the mechanic together would show me the various parts and which needed replacement and why. I felt very comfortable with John and the progress of the work. The transmission works perfectly, but did have a leak which was repaired promptly. This is a small shop which give a lot of personal service, one I would return to anytime with a transmission problem.
