Without hesitation, I would absolutely recommend AIS stone if you are looking to install granite counters in your kitchen. I spent a little time browsing the big box stores while trying to get an idea of what to expect and I'm so happy we decided to have JT take on the project instead. He initially came out and spent an hour or so with us at the house to give us an estimate and to explain what was included. This is something you won't get at Home Depot or Lowes unless you know all the right questions to ask. He made recommendations based on our existing cabinets and flooring. Wish we had taken his advice initially as it would have save us, and him, a lot of time in the long run (more on this later). We met JT a few days later at a granite "shop" and he spent a few hours taking us to no less that 4 others while we were trying to decide on what we wanted. He was very informative when explaining the types of stone, colors, and features (veins, fissures, etc.) and encouraged us to not rush a decision before seeing all the other slabs. We decided on a dark granite that we initially thought would go well in our kitchen. A few days later we changed our mind and saw something we liked better on the AIS website. Instead of just changing the order to that stone, JT met us at the store again and spent another hour or two discussing our options. Turns out it was the stone he recommended the first day! The installation date was set up and JT agreed to arrange for it to be done on a Friday and Saturday. This worked out well as my wife runs an in-home daycare and we really didn't want the house in disarray two week days. Prior to the installation, JT came out and showed us backsplash tile samples and made recommendations. At this point we had realized he knew what he was talking about and went with what he thought would look good. The demolition and installation was painless. Having never been through this type of project before, I don't have much to add about that aspect except that they spent A LOT of time working over the two days (turns out the project was more complicated than anticipated) and the place was spotless when they left. The counters were to be sealed on Monday and JT was going to come out in the evening to take care of it so as to not inconvenience my wife. While this would have worked fine, he offered to make a trip Sunday instead. This worked even better. The end result looks beautiful!! All in all, this was a great experience and I will be contacting AIS when we begin our bathroom remodel.

JT's work is as perfect as his reviews on Angie's list! I feel guilty that I did not write this review right after the work. Because my due date is in early March, we really need this kitchen to be functional before that. JT bid the job himself soon after we called. And that is in mid February. He scheduled the work for the following weekend. His workmen are very effective and keep appointment very well. They are all courteous and professional. During the work, JT came to inspect several times and showed up at completion. Additionally, JT is VERY VERY knowledgeable. He really knows what he's doing, and can explain the work very well. That's the main reason why we choose to work with him. He is easy to get on the phone and always gives me a courteous call before he comes. In a conclusion, JT is highly effective, super professional, amazingly knowledgeable and always on time. You couldn't ask more for a contractor, right? I will definitely recommend him to my friends. And I look forward to doing business with him again in the future.

I cannot say enough great things about JT and his crew!! I'll start with my initial phone call with JT. He was so knowledgeable on all the different types of stones. I wanted granite on my main countertops and Carrera Marble for my island. I also wanted the Carrera for my bathroom countertops and shower seat. He gave me all kinds of details and pros and cons of each one. We set a date for him to come and take measurements. He showed up on time and gave me a quote. I hired him then and we set a date to go stone shopping! We met at a stone yard and looked at all the ones they had to choose from. I'm very picky and was looking for a marble that really caught my eye. JT drove me around and we ended up going to probably 5 or 6 different places until I found the EXACT slabs I loved!! After we put them on hold, I couldn't wait to see the finished product! His crew showed up and did my black absolute granite first and came back the next day to do the marble. The craftsmanship of JT's crew is AMAZING! My countertops turned out exactly as I had hoped!! I cannot say enough good things about AIS Stone. JT was always so pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable! He always returned my phone calls right away if he didn't answer when I called. He knows his business very well and I only wish I needed an entire house of stone...I'd hire him for every bit of it!! JT runs a great business and I have told all of my friends and family about him. If you are looking to get new stone in your house...DO NOT get anyone else!! Go straight to AIS Stone!!! A little professionalism goes a long way. If the job was too small, then all it takes is a quick email or text to say that you can't do the job. Despite my contacting him via email and a phone call, Jaison did not respond. Speaks volumes about his character. I don't do business with people like this.

I have never been more impressed by the knowledge, ideas and careful thought that JT put into my home. Far above the other three bids that I received, JT offered design ideas that I had not thought of and I have a pretty good interior decorators eye, or at least that is what I have been told. He was ALWAYS prompt, immediately responsive to calls, questions and all requests. The guys were professional, meticulous with details, clean, fast and did a fantastic job. I am completely satisfied with my new kitchen and the outcome far surpassed my expectations. JT is friendly, funny, approachable, knowledgeable and is customer service is top notch.

TJ was punctual when arriving for the estimate. He went over the work, cave me some great ideas and estimate. He then had me meet him at the stone warehouse to pick out the granite. The entire process went very smooth. I now have a kitchen that is both beautiful and more functional than before

I called to see if I could maybe have someone help repair my damaged marble counter top. When I called JT he gave me some very helpful advice that I could try first before calling a repairman. This was very appreciated. If I do end up needing someone to come over and redo my counter i will be calling them! Great service.

JT was nothing short of spectacular in his attention to detail, professionalism and adaptability to a fluid situation. He took the time to consult with my wife one-on-one at the various granite slab companies so there were no surprises on final installation. We had multiple contractors working on various aspects of our home (flooring, painting, backsplash, tiling, wood work), JT and his team worked very efficiently and coordinated well with our other contractors. He delivered ahead of schedule and on budget. I will definitely be using JT and team again for any other granite/stone projects in our home.

JT came out and looked at our master bath and gave us really great ideas on completing our renovation. The entire process from start to finish for his portion took approximately 2 weeks. After meeting with us, going over ideas, sharing his pictures from previous work, he gave us a price we felt was reasonable for the scope of work. He spent an entire morning driving me around Houston to his tile and granite suppliers, picking out granite and tiles for our bathroom floor & walls. We visited about 5 different businesses until I found the one piece of granite I had to have for my countertop (of course it was the last place)! He was very patient, knowledgable and has a great eye for matching colors and stones! He then scheduled the tile work for the bathroom floor & walls and the shower walls and shower ceiling. Once that was completed he scheduled the granite cut & install. The final touch was the installation of the frameless glass shower doors which he arranged as well. JT was everything that I expected and read about from his previous reviews. He made the entire process seamless and with "No Worries" as he always told me! He listened to what we wanted and gave us great advice. JT is a very personable guy and instantly puts your mind at rest with his easy going and reassuring nature. All the gentlemen in his work crews were very nice, respectful, courteous and always left the work site clean. Once the project was completed, JT emailed me instruction information for the care and maintenance on the tile and granite. We plan on renovating our guest bath within the next few months and have already discussed ideas with him and can't wait to see what great results we get with the next project! Great. We were very pleased with JT's approach to the job and process of deciding on materials, colors and textures for granite counters and back splash. Good job of laying out the options and helping land on choices we are well pleased with. J The job went just as JT outlined with his both he and his craftsman were always punctual. The job turn out better than we envisioned. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful. JT was amazing! My husband and I moved from scottsdale, Az to Texas a few months ago. We purchased a great home but wanted to change the granite in the kitchen and bathroom. Not knowing anyone on the business and being new to the area, we decided to use Angies List. We chose the company with the best reputation and they definitely showed us why:). JT is why this company stands out above all others! He accompanied us to numerous times to choose granite and marble. I am notoriously indecisive and he was extremely patient and wanted to make sure what I chose was perfect. He took us to numerous places so that we had great choices. We know that he was extremely busy but always picked up the phone and responded quickly to any of our questions. The customer service JT provided was above and beyond! In a world of automated service, his personal touch was refreshing. Always available and extremely prompt. The people that work for him were very professional and did a wonderful job with minimal disturbance. The granite is beautiful and the marble is of the best quality and will be just as beautiful for years to come. He also was extremely reasonable in price. We are so happy with what JT and his crew did that we will be hiring him for more remodeling:). Don't waste time even looking....take our word:))

Wonderful jobs!!! JT and his crews did a fantastic job. My house needed major work after a flood in my home. I contacted JT and he came to my home that very evening to see the job and give an estimate. He is a man of his word, I like that very much. Once I accepted the bib price JT and I visited a few granite yard to select the slab. Even though I was really tired because I had already did so much work on my home, but JT helped to make the process less stressful. JT explained and pointed out the different choices of granite i had to chose from. We also compared the granite colors in relationship to the color of the cabinets and vanities. Once the slab was chosen the work was ready to begin. JT brought different sample colors of travertine tiles to start the bathrooms and utility room.The work begin the shortly afterward. The tile installer crew came at at our agreed time and I was home ,so I observed their work style. As a team the crew decided who would do what and they we off completiing the project. In no time I had floors in the utility room, both bathrooms and around the bathtub. Good job guys! Once the tile guys completed the granite installer crew came in next, punctual same as the other crew. They worked together as a team and installed granite kitchen counter tops and granite bathroom vanities counter tops and granite fireplace. Job well done guys. The plumber came in next at the agreed time to install the faucets and connected the dishwasher. With the kitchen almost finished JT brought samples of backsplash for me to select what look best with the granite. Next the same tile installer crew came back to install the backsplash after the granite was installed. JT and his team were very helpful throughout the project and after. I had lots of question and they patiently answered. JT and his crew made sure I was satisfied with the job before they felt in was completed. It was a pleasure working with JT and his crews. I plan to do more work in the future and will definitely be calling them again in the future.

JT was very accommodating, and delivered what was promised. We were on a tight time schedule and he exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic service and finished product! JT answered my first call and was at my house within 2 hours as he had an appointment nearby. He measured my space and we discussed potential granite colors. I requested a higher level granite for my quote and I felt that his numbers were both reasonable and in budget. We made an appointment to go out to select slabs as JT accompanies you to all the granite locations and explains in detail the pros and cons for each slab selected. I selected a beautiful granite and this is where JT gets extra points...that night...I thought the darker granite I picked might "swallow" my copper sink. I texted JT and he was kind enough to set up yet another appt. In all, we spent about 5 hours picking out slabs and I cannot be any happier with his patience and the finished product. I will DEFINITELY use JT and his guys again. The installation was smooth and when we ran into some plumbing issues due to a faulty faucet, his plumber was so responsive!

No words can describe how much we enjoyed the result of our kitchen remodel done by JT and his team! JT and his team were so professional, and so on-time with the project. We set up new granite countertops in the kitchen. The work done was good-quality, but most importantly, JT?s advice on which type of faucet and garbage disposal to get that we are so thankful. He sincerely cares about his clients getting the best quality for the money. He told us to bring one of the cabinet drawers and a piece from our wooden floor to the granite supplier shops (Expo) to help us choose a granite that best fits the colors in our kitchen cabinets and floor. We are first-time ?remodelers? and it was so nice to have someone to guide us through the process and explain the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of things that were involved in the process. The process of remodeling seemed so quick and painless, and thanks to his cheerful personality, it was actually fun! Thank you JT and the team! We?ll keep you guys in mind for all of our future remodeling projects!

Removed existing Formica countertop, installed new base plywood, high quality Iceberg style (gray white flow) granite countertop and a jet black (super strong, excellent for work surface) granite island top, new sink. White subway tile backsplash and several GE under cabinet lights were included. We purchased a Moen faucet which their pumper installed. They also removed and re-installed our range. Even though the counter top surface area was fairly large, JT was able to install 2 main sections with only one seam. The corners, therefore, flowed uninterrupted! The single seam is hardly visible. JT was prompt, patient, and professional. We meet JT at Expo Dist supplier and choose our granite colors. They have a huge selection. He has a keen eye on what would work best and can offer suggestions and features while understanding that the customer?s own wishes are priority. We were so grateful that he and his team were able to complete the job even beforemy deadline. Suggestion: remove all contents from kitchen drawers (even though he had pre-warned us) and ensure plastic sheets cover any and all doorways to prevent granite dust from going beyond the kitchen. Very, very pleased with the overall job. Highly recommended.

Prior to contacting AIS Stone, I had attempted to work with a highly regarded stone company in the Cypress area who has been in business for several decades and who had come highly recommended; after an initial visit to their facility and four days of talking with multiple people, each with their own input and piece of the puzzle, they admitted that they could not complete my small project when they first said they could. I spoke with several other companies and ran across AIS on Angie's List. Upon first contact, JT communicated everything I needed; discussing samples, pricing, scheduling, the pros and cons of different materials, etc. from his cell phone in the field - as a territory manager, I was impressed with his ability to respond cheerfully and professionally on the spot. After multiple conversations, several text communications, a review the company website and the many positive customer reviews on AL, I was impressed. JT visited to drop off samples, measure our cabinet and answer my remaining questions; I was impressed with his promptness, friendliness, knowledge and willingness to offer advice and opinions on various future projects. JT's crew completed the work ahead of schedule, JT visited to inspect the work personally and took the time to visit further on other topics. He has stayed in touch post project and has been an excellent resource for advice and referrals. I will use JT again and would highly recommend AIS Stone & Marble to anyone.

They coordinate ahead of time. Came out and inspected the site and gave me an exact cost up front. They coordinated with the ordering of the special sink. The actual installation was coordinated with the granite group and the plumbing group. All personnel were very efficient, professional and cleaned the area and remove the old parts and old sink. I was very pleased with everything about the whole process and would do business with AIS Stone and Marble again. I highly recommend them.

Everything went very smoothly from beginning to end. I relied 99% on JT's recommendations and he kept in constant contact with me over the 3-4 days it took to get the work done. Work was timely completed at a very reasonable price, and the new kitchen looks great. Highly recommended!!

So grateful I found AIS Stone, thanks Angie's List !! They meet and exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process of up grading my kitchen and desk area. JT provided assistance throughout the design, selection and installation. The unusual shape of my countertop was a challenger that other contractors wouldn't even consider pricing. He assisted with granite selection and design of the backsplash. The final product was beyond my expectations !! JT was prompt in answering all questions throughout the entire process. JT and his crew were professional, courteous, and prompt. I will use him for future projects in my home and would recommend AIS Stone to anyone looking for honest competent service. We had a great exprience with J.T. He and his crew did an amazing job. What stands out about this company is the outstanding customer service that you get with J.T. First, when I called initially, I got a personal call back from him within 3 minutes. Amazing. I had an appointment set up for him to come personally and give me an estimate within the week. He was prompt, professional, enthusiastic and extremely helpful. His company was the fourth one that I had interviewed, and I couldn't believe the difference. He personally helped me with all my choices in pluming fixtures (including directing me to afordable options) and my husband and I were also escorted several places to view granite slabs. When I was attracted to the cheaper slabs he went out of his way to remind me that his quote (which was also amazing) included the best quality granite. He was not going to let me get anything but the best... and I am so glad we did. We have awesome counter tops that all my friends comment on as being beautiful and unusually stunning. I can not recommend J.T. any higher. He is the most honest and personally invested contractor I have ever worked with. He is true to his favorite saying...no worries!!!

JT responded quickly and consistently did what he said he was going to do. He gave us helpful information along the way, which gave us more confidence when we had to make decisions. His team arrived on time, kept the house tidy while they worked, and cleaned up when they left. JT made me aware ahead of time that the mirrors might break when the old coutertops were removed. They did not damage the mirrors. The granite looks fantastic! I can highly recommend AIS Stone and Marble.

All work was excellent. Granite countertops were installed very quickly and very professionally. JT is excellent to work with.

The work AIS did was great. The only issue is getting on track with communication. Had to make a few extra calls, but once on track all was good.
