"Watts Pool Service greatly appreciates your feedback as this is how we strive to improve our service to our preferred clients. During our first visit to your residence, we observed a chlorinator leaking at the union. We replaced union, provided by homeowner, and proceeded to find a very insignificant crack on the main body of the unit. Since Watts Pool Service does not sell these units, it was our understanding the homeowner preferred to call and have a new unit sent to him, opposed to purchasing one of the units we sell. We are more than happy to provide and install a new unit, as this would have been our preference from the beginning. In addition, we will install the unit with no labor charge up to $384.75, due to previous expenses on diagnostics and attempted repairs on existing unit."

"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. [member name removed], Watts Pool Service appreciates your feedback, as we take our customer concerns very seriously and always conduct a thorough investigation as our goal is ultimate customer satisfaction. Since my conversation with you following our visit in regards to the specific lights necessary for your application, I apologize there seemed to be lack of communication prior to this point that was not discussed in our conversation following this service visit. I tried to call you several times today to review our work order report and scope of diagnostics and repair. Although I left a message, have been unsuccessful reaching you. Your service order called into our office on June 9, 2014 requested service to the swimming pool not circulating well, check chemistry, pressure continuously high on filter - concerns relayed to our office were blockage in skimmers and the pool cleanliness to list the house on the market in the near future. Our service fee and service call are one in the same, we have never had two different fees, or hidden charges. Our minimum is 1 hour labor (45 on site/15 travel). When our technician checks over the complaint of lack of circulation and notes high pressure across the filter, it is fairly common to open up the filter and check for initial obvious obstructions prior to moving on to less obvious diagnostics. Upon opening your filter, we immediately found (3) torn DE filter grids. We also realized at this time that the high pressure was also likely to due a recent upsize of the pump. After repairing the filter, reassembling, and priming system, we checked out the other lines items per request for future sale of home. Since our minimum visit is an hour labor and actual charges consisted of $59 in parts and $190 in labor, I apologize for any inconvenience. At this time, I can not disagree with the protocol our technician went through on site to diagnose. Therefore, I would love to discuss with you again as I don't feel it was clearly communicated to you - thus don't understand the reason for the rating you provided for Watts Pool Service. The technician kept me informed on all matters, didn?t do anything until I had approved it and was friendly too. Best of all, the final cost was $200 less than the bid.
