RAM Paving Services

Just don't hire these people (RAM Paving Services / Robert Perez)! Started out fine. They took a $6000 dollar deposit, then started removing driveway. Then the entire crew caught the virus. Okay I understand that, but a month goes by and then miraculously they all get better at the same moment. So they've all been sick for the same amount of time and then get better at same time. Seemed unlikely but fine... Then they say they are coming back but they've already spent my deposit so can I front the money for the rebar and take it out of the balance owed. Okay, but at this point I should have said no. They repeatedly told me they would show up on a certain day and then just didn't show up- no warning, no excuse, no apologies. They finally showed up for about 5 hours and put down some of the rebar. Then they start not showing up again telling me the concrete can't be delivered for over a week. That was a complete lie. After I call and text about a dozen times they finally tell me that they have been injured and can't complete the job. I call bs on these excuses. So now I'm getting bids and every one of the new contractors tell me they did the rebar all wrong- not right size and spaced to far apart. They also didn't put in spacers for expansion joints. So basically not only is this company/guy completely unreliable, will take your money and spend it on other things, but will also not do the job properly if you can ever get him to finish.
