David's pool owner would come behind his own workers to check their work quality.

David's Pools and Spas, Inc. surely deserves all the stars on Angie's List. They were punctual, friendly and very helpful. This company resurfaced my pool and fixed a broken return pipe. When the work starts, we (i.e. David's Pools and I) did not know that the broken return pipe was under the pool. To fix this would go way beyond the first quote of $2737. In consultation, we searched for an alternative solution. We finally decided to re-route the broken pipe outside the pool. The additional cost was very reasonable. Today, almost 15 months after the resurfacing, the pool still looks beautiful. The fixed broken return pipe is functioning as we have itended to function. I will certainly work with David's Pools again for all my swimming pool services.

These guys always do what they say they will, at the price they promise. They are always very careful to keep our dogs from escaping the back yard and they do first class pool work.

As promised last week they called at 7:30am to tell me that they were on their way and planned to be there at 8:00am as discussed last week.
They did everything they said they would promptly and efficiently and professionally.
Extremely responsive. They could have come out shortly after I called last week but putting this off a few days was better for me.

Their business model is excellent - give a quote over the phone (when feasible) which saves them and me time, send a technician out (on time) to do the work and then follow up with an invoice by mail which keeps the paperwork in the office where it is most effective and frees up the technician to service more clients which is their expertise.

So many other firms have the technician fill out all the paperwork and deal with the billing. The way that David's does it is better all the way around.
The only reason I gave the price anything less than an and quot;Aand quot; is that this was still not an inexpensive repair (in my opinion) although David's was the least costly of the few companies I called.

The pool looks great. We had to call once because we had a part broken. They came back the next day and fixed that.

They are a good solid company. I spoke twice the owner of the business and he walked me through what they were doing and why they needed to do it. They fixed the existing Polaris at a cost of about $60.00. They could have easily told me I needed a new one since I don't know much about pool maintenance. When I set up my account for monthly cleaning Linda called me and walked me through everything they do, and also what I needed to be doing to keep the pool clean and functional (adding water and checking the baskets to make sure they aren't full between the weekly cleanings). She took about 10 minutes to answer all my questions. Linda is very competent and knowledgeable. Linda asked me whether we have dogs and put a note on the account so the cleaning crew knows to keep the gate closed. Solid company from top to bottom.

I spent about $3000. They also do the repair works, if any. I will continue to use them in the future.

We spent about $500. The price was lower than what he estimated. It was less than what he had expected. It looked like a difficult job but he did not stop till it was fixed correctly. He did not replace the whole thing; only parts of it which needed to be replaced. It was excellent. He was on vacation for a while. We will use this company in the future.

Great! Company is very responsive to clients, and goes the extra mile. Not the cheapest, but still good value for the money. David does an excellent job each week, and is very reliable, unlike many others in this business. Highly recommended!

It took about an 1.5 hours and the service rep. was courteous, communicative and instructive as well as leaving a clean work area.

Contacted and received estimate one day and the work was completed 2 days later. Both David and his employee were very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Everything was done exactly as proposed at a very favorable price. The old equipment was hauled away as no additional cost.

All went very well. I called David's Pool on or about March 28. I explained to the lady that answered the phone that my Polaris was running very sluggish. She tried to give me some pointers over the phone, but I explained to her that I was not that knowledgeable about the parts of the pool unit and could she please send a technician out. We set an appointment for April 6 since I would be home all day. The morning of the 6th I call to confirm that I still had an appointment. I was told that someone would be out late in the day. Around 2:30 PM Martin called to say that he was 30 minutes away. At around 3:00 PM Martin showed up. He could see that the back-up valve on the Polaris was bad. When he took the pool unit apart, he also noted that the pool filter was full of "gunk" and needed to be cleaned. When I asked if that was something I could do my self, Martin was very patient and explained everything to me.

We had tried to get it fixed by another company and they came out five times over 3 months and could never get it to work. David's came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it within a week. They actually knew what they were doing and had experienced personnel do the work.

David's Pool is a very friendly, courteous, efficient pool company. We buy our supplies from them, and they look after our maintenance when needed. At the start of the season, they come out and get everything up and running, and get our initial chemical levels up to proper levels. We try to keep up the chemicals after that, but they also check our levels regularly, and do any repair and maintenance work when needed.
