Concrete Sawing or Removal
We recently had our concrete flooring replaced around the tip of our property by Linda Todar and her team from Best Surface Source, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, Linda was incredibly precise, professional, and attentive to every detail. The entire process, from the initial preparation to the final replacement, was handled smoothly and efficiently. The quality of workmanship is outstanding! The new concrete looks flawless and has truly transformed the area. Linda and her crew went above and beyond to ensure everything was done perfectly, and their dedication really shows. Custom Cabinets - Build
This is the second time we have worked with Linda on remodeling a kitchen. When we moved to our new place, we reached out to a few companies for quotes and Linda’s was the most cost efficient. Through out the whole process, she is constantly checking in with us and making sure we are happy with the work. Her team also works in a timely fashion and got the job done when anticipated. We know that if we need any future work done, we will be planning to reach out to Linda at Best Surface Source again!

Kitchen - Remodel
Stop looking for contractors because this is the one you want. Linda is THE BEST. She is extraordinarily kind and has impeccable communication skills. She offered opinions when I asked for her thoughts and has great taste. All of her guys doing the work are incredibly professional and did an AMAZING job. My new kitchen is gorgeous and so are my new floors! I can’t wait to have them back to do my bathrooms!

Wood Flooring - Refinish
We had Best Surface Source fix a piece of damaged wall and ceiling due to a pipe leak and then replace an area of the hardwood floor in our kitchen, plus refinish the rest of the hardwood floor. They did an excellent job on both. The owner, Linda, was very thorough in checking the problems and proposing the work plan. She brought the workers for both jobs when coming for the estimate so that they knew what needs to done firsthand. Once the work was scheduled, the workers showed up on time and they worked tirelessly and continuously until dark. Linda also came every day to check on the progress and make sure there were no issues. Francisco did a wonderful job on the floor and Fermin repaired the wall perfectly. Because of their excellent work, we decided to hire them to paint the entire first floor for us, again a job well done. My wife and I are very pleased with the new and fresh look of our house. We especially appreciate the quality of the job, the responsiveness of the workers to our requests on perfecting certain detailed areas, and their effort in protecting the floor and furniture. Home improvement projects can be nerve-racking at times, but with Linda and her crew at Best Surface Source, such anxiety has been completely lifted. This company deserves an absolute five-star rating from us.

We recently purchased a home in the Houston area. The home needed some updating; painting, countertops, kitchen, bathrooms- all remodeled. The company we used completely dropped the ball, their work was a disaster, we were devastated. Linda was a prayer answered. She went through every area of the house and came up with a plan. It was so bad that we had to get a structural engineer. Linda's people worked through every issue that was uncovered, there were multiple surprises. Knowing what we had been through, Linda tried to get pricing down where she could. The house is finished and was exactly what I had envisioned. I recently had a house project completed that included fixing leaks and installing new under stairs projects. The crew was fast and friendly, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish. Linda was exceptional. She stayed on top of everything, her crews are always on time, very professional and very polite. They also keep our house very clean, they lay out protective paper and plastic and make sure to protect our other areas and furniture. Linda also frequently visiting to check on progress and making sure we were satisfied with the work. The team's speed and dedication to getting the job done were impressive. I highly recommend their services! You don't have to worry that you have to chase them after on work progress, they are super proactive. I'm super happy that they are so proactive because I am not. Bathroom - Remodel
I was in the middle of a very bad experience with another contractor, having had no usable master bathroom for three months after demolition. Best Surface Source came in very quickly, studied the situation, discussed the plan, and I had a quote that same night. Linda, the owner, was on the site every day checking the work, and she offered some really fabulous design ideas that hadn't occurred to me. Her employees were true craftsmen -- the tile is beautiful, the custom built cabinets are eye-popping, and as far as I can tell there isn't even a tiny misstep on any of it. I don't believe I even discussed a punch list with her when the job was completed, it was that good. I already have plans to hire Best Surface Source for my second bathroom and installation of a new floor in my bedroom and den. I cannot say enough about how totally pleased I was with every aspect of our project together. Oh, and they completed the total renovation of a master bath with custom cabinetry, double vanity, new lighting and plumbing and wiring, etc., in under three weeks. How I wish I'd called them first!

Custom Cabinets - Build
We recently purchased a 1950’s build and wanted to make a few updates and add some more usable storage space. Scope included building a pantry cabinet/coffee bar and updating the bathrooms from the last renovation that was completed in the early 2000’s. Best Surface Source was the perfect combination of price, quality and speed for us. Even with adding multiple additional scope items including painting bedrooms and patching sheetrock Linda and Fermin worked tirelessly to get us moved in on time.

We hired Best Surface Source for a remodel of our living room which encompassed various trades -- wood look tile and carpet floor installation, some drywall and trim work, painting, and ultimately a bit of structural/carpentry. Linda was very communicative and provided great customer service, and Fermin and his crew were friendly and tidy. There were a few issues here and there with the tile and drywall job, but Linda and Fermin worked to resolve them as they were identified. Overall, we are pleased with the way the room turned out, and I feel that the price was fair.

Carpentry Framing - Repair
Certain beams in the attic were beginning to buckle and I needed immediate help. Linda's team came out to evaluate the problem; not only that, I was having an issue with the attic ladder which her team informed me they could repair. After the workers completed their evaluation of the issues Linda provided an estimate which I thought was a good price for the work to be done. I was informed this was a small job however Linda and her team at Best Surface Source provided excellent customer service, exceptional skill with perfection and very good work ethic. I would highly recommend this company.

At first I thought they were very--too expensive, but, they also painted my bedrooms and did an exceptional job. The crew scrapped and sanded and got rid of the old paint. They did a lot of work to prepare for painting. I had never had a painter in my home that worked that hard. They usually just painted over old paint.

Kitchen - Remodel
Hired BSS to do a bathroom remodel. Linda came out every day to check on the project and helped us pick out all the materials and gave us suggestions for that. The install team, Fermin and Enrique, worked extremely hard and were here several days until 6:00-7:00 PM. Fermin also made suggestions with regard to tile layout and a few other things. We are extremely happy with the work and price and would highly recommend them.

Best Surface Source completed our bathroom renovations and some flooring work and other minor updates to our home. We HIGHLY recommend them. Linda is professional, warm and acts with the utmost integrity. Fermin and the rest of the team delivered the same level of timeliness, professionalism and excellent quality of work. We had gone through several issues with previous contractors and were nervous about having yet another negative experience. But, Best Surface Source was the exact opposite, and we are so grateful for how well the renovations were handled from start to finish! Wood Flooring Repair or Partial Replacement
Linda is the best! Her crew is the best! The upstairs bathroom subfloor needed replacing, they made it stronger and better than it was originally! The bathroom looks better than ever! And now it's safe! I will definitely be calling them again for the next project!
