Sparkling Pool Service Co.

I was in Texas to help my Aunt take care of some things after her stay in the hospital. One of these included trying to help her get her pool back in working order. I received a quote of $3090 from Jesse from Sparkling Pool Services, Co. on Oct. 2 to complete a job that would include a new variable speed pump, a new booster pump, and new filters for her pool. Jesse wanted to be paid in full before work began, but I said I would pay him half up front and half when the job was complete. He also wanted to be paid in cash through Zelle. Jesse returned to my Aunt's house on Oct. 8, 2024, to install and complete the job. (I had since returned to Arizona). My Aunt said he was in the yard most of the day working on the pool. At about 3 pm AZ time (5 pm Texas time), Jesse called me to say that the new pump had not yet been primed and therefore the attached Jacuzzi still hadn't filled with water. He said he was leaving and that my Aunt should watch for the pool water level to begin to drop which would indicate that the pump had primed and that the jacuzzi was starting to fill. Then he would come back and continue repairs by replacing the booster pump. He asked me to pay the rest of the balance on my account which I did. My Aunt watched for 3 hours and nothing happened. I advised her to turn off the pump and try again the next day. After turning the pump back on and watching for about 8 hours the next day, there was no change in the water level of the pool and the jacuzzi was not filling with water. I texted back Jesse to ask what we should do and he never responded to my text. When I tried to call him on the phone, it went straight to voicemail. I left a message. No response. I then tried emailing him. No response. At this point, the pump is now making a high-pitched whine and still isn't working correctly. All of the trash was left behind including the old pump, the old filters, and all of the boxes from the installation. I would like the Sparkling Pool Service Co. to make good on their end of the contract and make sure the pump is in working order, that the booster pump has been correctly installed, that the trash is cleaned up, and that the jacuzzi is properly filled with water.

I never leave bad reviews but I don't want someone else to have to go through what we have gone through with this company. Service is not was promised. Pool does not get brushed. We did not have algae before we used this service but we do now. They do not respond to text regarding problems with the pool. They empty baskets and throw the trash in the flower bed instead of the trash can. They also throw trash onto the floor of our pool house. This is not a company I would ever recommend someone to use.

They came out the morning after I called and cleaned my pool that had been out of service for 6 years in one day and I have a pool ready to use in less than 48 hours. Great job excellent price.

We asked that the pool be vacuumed every week and he did not vacuum every week. The pool was never clean after he left. We also did not like that we had to pay a month in advance. He has not been communicating well on whether or not he is coming for the cleaning and has not kept in contact with us.

The company responded quickly on a Saturday. A potted plant had fallen into my pool. I thought I was faces with draining the pool. I believe the company owner arrived. He instructed me on the steps required to clean the pool with out draining. Very knowledgeable and did not charge a service fee.

He was so friendly, and professional. He came in cleaned my pool out, he works so hard. He explained everything he was doing and why. He has the best process out of anyone I called. He has a vast knowledge of the chemicals he uses and explains everything which I enjoy. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

I've only done the "pool school" so far. It was helpful but he really tried to get me to sign up for weekly service. Too much sales pressure
