H&H was efficient, professional & available for questions. The replaster included a 7 year guarantee on materials. They are a local company who I highly recommend based on the replaster work they did on our pool.

Salesman, Chuck was always calling to give us updates and timelines. He was upfront about costs. When we were told that a crew would be at the house to work, they always showed up as promised. Workers were all professional and hard working. Our pool and patio are like new and we are very satisfied with the whole experience. Yes, it was expensive, but feel we made a good choice to have quality work and repairs by H&H.

We hired H&H to replace limestone coping around our spa and pool, and install a pebble tech pool surface. The only part of this job that went well was the demolition. For the first attempt to install the coping, the crew didn't measure or level any of the stones. What started off as a rectangular pool, ended up wavy and lumpy with stones next to each other of different widths and thicknesses. The stone was finally corrected after many attempts and lots of begging and convincing them to do it (they didn't want to). All the stone they replaced eroded over the next year and had to be replaced. They used the wrong and/or inferior stone (short cutting and saving themselves money at our expense). The resurfacing of the pool went even worse. It took three complete resurfaces to get the pebble surface right. Each resurfacing was a result of more begging and convincing on our part. They didn't want to do it. What began as a project that was supposed to take a week, took three months. We lost the use of our pool (basically our back yard) for a whole summer. With all the workers and equipment in our yard for a whole summer, we also lost most of our landscaping. The owners didn't take any of our concerns seriously and would laugh off our growing frustration, explaining "that some projects are just nightmare projects." Our pool was much worse off AFTER their working on it than it was to start. We had to pay another (reputable) pool company to fix all the things that this company did wrong. Don't use this company. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and don't know what they are doing.

The mechanical aspects of the project were more than acceptable. The primary troubles involved administrative interaction with the H&H office and field supervisors. At times they were hard to reach. At times, it was difficult to exchange messages. We expected more after-service follow-up than we received. This may be due to one or more messages that got scrambled in handling. There may be other reasons. In short, we would use them again. We would recommend them to others. However, we would encourage others to be more forceful in setting expectations about who what and when. The costs were right on target so that was never an issue.

H & H Tile & Plaster were very responsive and professional. They came out and inspected quite often, and the tile guys did a great job. The tiles were expensive glass tiles and very difficult to install and they did it fabulously.
