Electrician On Call

A construction project had someone disrupted electrical service in a bedroom. I needed someone who could locate the broken line and repair it. Several power outlets and light fixtures were affected. The electrician came with the right tool for the job: A signal generator and tone detector, and the know-how to use them to sense where the broken wire is in the wall. After investigating, the broken wire was located, but due to its placement in the wall, it would be very difficult to reach it and repair or replace it. Fortunately this electrician is both experienced and creative. He noticed that part of the broken circuit passes right by an appliance circuit in my kitchen, used for the garbage disposal. By disconnecting the broken wire and just leaving it dead in the wall, he was able to resplice the unpowered segment onto the kitchen circuit instead. Now the outlets and lights are on a different circuit breaker, but the circuit is rated fine for the purpose, and it shouldn't cause me any future problems. Plus, he was able to perform the splice without even needing to break into any walls, saving me the cost of repairing them. All in all, I'm very impressed!

Dave’s a great guy. He was thorough, professional, and even took the time to explain how my problems came to be and how I can prevent them in the future. He asked before making repairs, didn’t needlessly replace functioning hardware, and let me know what I could fix myself. Look no further. This is the company to call.

I've used them a couple of times already. They're very good. It was $130 per hour. There were two bathrooms. The price was fair. Obviously, I'd like it cheaper, an A for the price. They were very good. They were on time. They were good.

They installed the new outdoor light. They were prompt and professional. They gave me a great price! I have used them several times in the past and I am sold on them!

We requested 26 LED recessed lights for our home. We got 3 bids and Dave provided us a fair price for the work. The guys were able to accommodate a quick time-frame for this project and work was completed on time. Looks great! Thanks guys!

My wife and I had a few smallish projects to do in the house and we decided to get them done with this electric company that we found on Angie's List. After one false start with trying to contact them (didn't hear back from them, which was fine because we got busy anyways) I tried again and got it touch with Dave, who was easy to work with. We got into a good routine of communicating via email, which was easy for me. For some reason he didn't want to give me an estimate on-site, but he was reasonably prompt about getting it to me by email. One thing I greatly appreciated was his willingness to suggest cheaper options and to pare back his own work. We wanted an extra wire run through the wall and ceiling so that our ceiling fans could be run on 2 separate switches (one fan one light), but he recommended RF boxes in the wall with buttons. Cheaper, and pretty straightforward - I could easily do the work myself. He was happy to scratch it all from the list and save me a lot of money. We did still have them out to install three recessed lights, however. A work crew (not Dave) came out to install the lights, and they did a good job. Looks great, materials were top-notch and the finished project is perfect. They were quick and clean, too, covering over furniture while they worked above it.

Electrician on Call are absolutely wonderful.  They were here in August or September of 2016.  I had the pull chain to the ceiling fan break off.  I was afraid they were going to have to replace the whole fan but they came out and they were able to install a new pull chain and get it working again.  Completely professional, it was the same electrician that had come before, just couldn't have been nicer.  The only issue I had this time was the technician ran into a more complicated job than they had anticipated before my appointment, so he didn't get here until 2 hours after we had scheduled it.  There was some miscommunication between their front office and the technician.  They thought, in the office, that I was going to have to have some rewiring and so the owner of the company showed up in addition to the technician, thinking that it was going to be a complicated job.  Then found out that it was just a simple installing a new pull chain.  So there was a little bit of miscommunication in terms of what had been relayed and what was really needed.  In terms of getting it fixed and the professionalism of the technician again, couldn't have been nicer.  From what I can recall, the price was like $135.  The personability of the technicians, got in and did the job, finished is what stuck out to me about this company.  It was a simple fix and because he had been here before, you know, I knew him, and like I said, the only snag there was there was just some miscommunication between their office letting the technician know what the job was he was coming to do, it wasn't a rewiring.  I think that they had just miscommunicated what I really needed to have done.  That was the only issue, I mean there was no issue as far as the workmanship, the professionalism, none at all, you know, and those things happen.  I would recommend them to a friend because of the personablility of the technician and seeing what the problem is, getting it fixed, and both times I don't think he was able to accomplish everything within an hour.

Ended up having to have a new dedicated line ran to install a three-prong outlet as there was no ground wire to the old one. They did everything very efficiently and were pleasant to talk with. Showed me everything they were doing before, during and after.
