Travertine Artisans

I was in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel when I walked into Ruben's showroom on a Saturday (12/17/16). We talked about all the options he could provide on a granite countertop for my new kitchen. He said he could have my countertops installed before Christmas, but I was skeptical. When I left he had answered every question I had and he gave me quote for if I picked something "middle of the road". I had told Ruben when I left that I should have the cabinets installed by Tuesday and he could measure after that. Ruben contacted me on Tuesday (12/20/16) to see if he could come by to measure and give me a quote. He showed up on time for the appointment and was very professional. I got a quote by email an hour after he left. We ended up choosing a very exotic granite and his "middle of the road" quote was very close in price to the exotic granite we selected. My wife and I met Ruben on Tuesday afternoon to select the exact slab of granite our countertops would be made from. Ruben was very helpful during the selection and he had all the slabs moved so that we could pick the perfect one. Two days later (12/22/16) he contacted me to install. His crew showed up on time and did an awesome job on the install. Ruben came by to check on everything and make sure that everything was to my satisfaction. The end result is stunning! He did exactly what he said he would do exactly when he said he would do it. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Ruben to anyone. He doesn't contract anything out. He has a showroom, a fabrication warehouse, and his own yard full of awesome pieces of granite. He controls all aspects of the process and it shows in the end result!

The granite install was ok but flooring was a disaster.  The kitchen had the correct tile but the entry and both bathroom had the wrong tile so they chipped the edges with a hammer to  look distressed but ended up making sharp edges thus cutting our feet.  They came back, always late, and tried to grind the sharp edges but in doing so the shine was damaged.  I asked them to leave and they would not replace the tile. 

I would never recommend them.
