I was about to have a tile backspash put in my kitchen, and my main intercom station was not working. I needed to repair it or replace it before the backsplash was installed. The original installers of the intercom system said they no longer repair my kind of station. (It was 8 years old.) They also could not order the parts. They said they would be happy to replace my main unit and all of the intercoms around the house for about $2500. I called Alamo-Austin systems for a second opinion. David called himself "the last intercom repairman in Austin." He had the unit repaired within the first 15 minutes of his visit. He also quickly tested the system and found one broken station. I asked about replacing a yellowed station cover outside. He gave me a price, and he said he would collect payment on his second visit. On his second visit, he replaced the 2 stations and cleaned the speakers for the intercoms around the house. David also repairs alarm systems and central vacuums.
