Enterprise Rent-A-Car

So, called and made a reservation and went in this morning to pick up the vehicle.  Spoke to "Val".  She was rude right from the get-go.  I don't have a credit card because I don't really believe in them... but my credit is fine.  I was told to bring in a utility bill.  I brought in my Comcast Internet/Phone bill and I was told they couldn't use it.  Landline phone had to be with AT&T or (she listed a few others).  She said it was a "soft" credit check.  I told her to please just run a regular credit check.  She said that Enterprise was not set up to do this.  I had gone over everything with their corporate ppl in depth already.  But it wasn't this problem that annoyed me.  She kept trying to prematurely end the conversation and kept interrupting me and saying, "Thank you Sir... have a nice day.".  And when I said, "It's not polite to interrupt."  She actually said... "Whatever" under her breath.  I went down the street to Hertz and rented a car with zero hassle 10 minutes later.  Thanks "Val" for verifying the other reviews found here... Enterprise has bad employees who have no idea what polite customer service is. 

Horribly. Absolutely no accountability.

I was happy with Enterprise. They were cordial to me. They charge real reasonable prices. The cars are clean. The service is slow but they sure are pleasant to deal with. I would use them again in the future.

The agent was very helpful in advising what vans were available and in arranging the pickup times.
