If you ever need garage repair and garage door opener installation, hire this guy! I had a cable that broke and a garage door opener that was on its last leg! The owner came out to replace the cable and replaced the rollers on the door. Then he advised my garage door opener was about to go out. I bought a new garage door opener and had it replaced the very next day. The owner resolved both issues quickly and the cost was inexpensive. I'm pleased.

The technician (Kimper) was on time, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, fast and aware of the current situation ( wore gloves and face mask). His rate was very reasonable and his quality of work quite good. I recommend him and would definitely choose him in the future.

Mr. Kimper Johnson called me before I even finished my search for a garage door provider on my computer thru Angie's list. He also called me to tell me that he could arrive earlier than expected. Alternative Garage Doors was $170 cheaper than Precision. Kemper has excellent customer service. Replaced two garage door springs. Can’t believe how much more the markup was with Precision.

We called for our door to be repaired at about 6 in the evening. They offered to come out then but I said that in the morning would be fine. I felt that was good response.. You just don't realize how important a working garage door until you have one that won't work Repairman was prompt, arriving within the times given by the company. Had worked for the company twenty years. He was very efficient as he replaced the springs and then the rollers. He was friendly. He had all the equipment he needed. This was a very good experience.

We called because we had broken springs on our garage door. Repairman suggested replacing rollers and gave me a discount. I told him to go ahead and replace them.

We needed to have one of our garage doors replaced. The estimate to perform the work was very reasonable. The business owner performed the work. He was very professional, did the work at the agreed time and for the agreed price. He also lubricated our other door for no additional charge. It was a really good experience. I recommend this company.

Our garage door spring broke on a Sunday morning. This was one of the only companies we could get to come out and gave us the best price (though it probably would have been cheaper on a weekday, but that is to be expected). Our garage door only had one spring, and they put on 2 for a cheaper price than the other companies would have just done one. They were right on time and did the job quickly. Very happy with the service and professionalism!

I called these guys because of good reviews from Angie's List. They were very prompt, and they were reasonable. My door is unusual. It had to be demolished and hauled off, which they did. The door had to be reframed, and this is my only complaint. I was not thrilled with the way it looked when they were finished - the door frame, not the door itself. He talked about it with me before doing it, and he did what we agreed on. But his idea of a quality, professional look and mine were different. I would have gladly paid more to have it done right. He hated charging me, and convinced me that it would look all right. That said, I really liked dealing with him and would recommend them to others - on the condition that you communicate well what your expectations and priorities are. They were fast, courteous, knowledgable and reasonable.

I called Alternative Garage Doors on Sunday morning @ 10:00 because our spring broke on our garage. I was not expecting anyone to answer but Mr. Kemp Jackson answered and said he would be here by noon. He arrived on time and replaced our spring in 30-45 minutes. Everyone else we called wanted to charge extra for coming out on the weekend and double for coming out on Sunday. Our bill was only $160.00 including parts and labor. I appreciate businesses like Alternative Garage Doors who enjoy the work they do and do not overcharge customers for unfortunate circumstances. I got several of their business cards and most definitely would use them again in the future.
