Okay, I'm not a big Target fan like my wife (I think she could live there), but I've discovered a little secret that I think needs sharing. You can get your APS and 35mm film developed and put on a CD for pennies (does not include prints--more on that in a minute). I've used mail-in services, high-end processing/camera stores and other big box retailers so I've tried them all. My favorite for a long time was Eckerd Drug store but they aren't local. Yes, I know, so many have made the switch to digital but there are some of us who still like to use film too. I have both which makes this such a great deal. Here's how it works: Drop off your film, if you're a procrastinator like me and you have a lot of roll laying around bring them into Target and fill out only one envelope, check CD only, and drop all of your rolls into the envelope. Come back the next day after 11a.m. and pick up your CD, negatives (or APS cartridges) and contact print indexes. From the CD you can print them at home or take them to your processor of choice or upload them to a web service. They are high resolution so no worries. Other processors charge you for the processing and separately charge you for the CD. That's why this is such a great deal. I left six rolls of 35mm film to be processed and paid only $2.97 + tax. Incredible. I have since used them for all my APS and 35mm processing.
