Excellent. On time, good job, took extra time on difficult areas.

I asked for their $99 special. It turned out that the great room is equal to 2 rooms and so I had to pay more than planned. I really just needed the traffic areas done. We have a large home and so I should have planned to spend more but overall they were nice, careful, and they put plastic squares under the wood furniture legs to protect the furniture while the carpet dried. I believe this company is the best. I have tried the Dry Chem and a couple of Service Master companies. I've been most pleased with Stanley Steemer. The next time they come I will plan to spend more and have the stairs done and have it Scotch Guarded. Remember that the added protection of Scotch Guard is extra. Do plan to have your carpet cleaned a couple of days before your event as it might take that long to dry.

We have used Stanley Steemer to clean our carpets every fall for the past eight years, and have always been satisfied with the result. The crews have always been extraordinarily punctual, very courteous and unfailingly proficient in cleaning our carpets throughout the house within an hour. They do a very a nice job, without question. In the past, the Stanley Steemer franchise operator we have used was based in in Bartlett, but the receipt we were given for the carpet cleaning services performed this year bore an address in Cordova. We wonder if the franchise has been sold, changed hands, or simply changed addresses. In any event, please note this -- this franchise refuses to accept personal checks, demanding payment either by cash or credit card when their requested services have been completed, citing numerous incidents where departing (moving) homeowners have paid with personal checks unsupported by sufficient funds. OK, fair enough, and this policy is indicated at the top of the page of their on-line service request and quote by the phrase: and quot;We accept cash and the following credit cards:and quot; They DO NOT specifically state that they refuse to accept personal checks. Moreover, our on-line quote for the services we requested this year (as we do every year - carpet cleaning and a follow-on application of a sprayed carpet protector) came to $430.20, approximately the same as it was for last year. This sum included one living room, one staircase, and upstairs hallway, a master bedroom, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a family room. Nonetheless, moments after the cleaning crew leader walked through the house to inspect each room he announced that the bill would be $480, $50 MORE than the quote we received because somehow the stairway leading to the upstairs had been omitted from their work order. I disagreed with his assertion, and handed him the copy of the on-line quote I had printed out after I had used the Stanley Steemer website to book the appointment, and pointed out that the very SECOND area to be cleaned on the order was the staircase. and quot;Well,and quot; he countered, and quot;what I meant to say was that your living room is oversized, and we count that as a living room and a sitting room, which that we'll have to charge you for two rooms.and quot; As our living room measures 23 feet by 13 feet, I shot back by saying the crew certainly didn't charge me that LAST year, and handed him the 2011 receipt. and quot;Well,and quot; he sputtered, and quot;they obviously screwed that up by not charging you for two rooms, as your living room is 30 square feet larger than a standard living room.and quot; I then handed him the Stanley Steemer receipts we've kept for since 2006, and simply replied: and quot;If that's so, they've been doing it every year for the past six years. Why, suddenly, has this changed?and quot; In the end, after a long cell phone conversation between the crew leader and his supervisor, the $50 and quot;add-onand quot; charge was dropped, and we wound up paying, to the penny, exactly what our on-line quote specified. No where on the Stanley Steemer website does it specify what the maximum allowable dimensions of any room are, nor does it offer an explanation of the definition or difference between a and quot;family roomand quot;, a and quot;bonus roomand quot;, a and quot;great roomand quot;, a and quot;home officeand quot; or a and quot;denand quot;. There is also no Stanley Steemer website indication of the term and quot;sitting roomand quot;, as the cleaning crew leader argued existed within our living room. I suppose it would all depend upon what furniture is found within each room, but in any case, it does make any possible definition rather subjective. Thus, before the crews begin cleaning the carpets in your home, MAKE SURE you know what the final price for their services will be, because what you feel is a and quot;family roomand quot; may well be construed as a and quot;bonus roomand quot; by the cleaning crew, and thus in their estimation may be more expensive to clean. In our case, we think this was a feeble, ill-conceived attempt to low-ball us out of another 50 bucks, thwarted only when I countered each feeble explanation by offering (as evidence) our Stanley Steemer work order receipts from the past. Does Stanley Steemer do a good job... yes. Are their crews as ethical as they could be? Well, judge for yourself from our experience. Next year we'll probably seek estimates from other carpet cleaning competitors.

Very well. They called before arriving giving me 20-30 minutes to get ready. Walked around looking a what needed to be cleaned. Cleaned and were out of the house in approximately 2 hours. Had me check to see if it looked ok. Explained would take about 12-24 hours to completely dry so don't put anything back in place yet.

I have used their services several times. They are very good. Within ten days, if the service is not done right, they will come back and redo the work. I have been very happy with them.

Their service went very well. They made everything look like new. I am very satisfied.

The internet is full of opinions about the various types of steam cleaners and providers. After spending too much time laboring over my decision i bit the bullet and called m local stanley guys. Gave a quote over the phone that was identical to the final bill. They were super professional. Took extra care to keep from tracking in extra crud from outside. Even had a neat mini door guard to keep my Nice Cool HVAC air from rushing out of the door. Years ago i had used a local guy that advertised by calling the house. He had a different type of carpet cleaning, almost like those things you can rent at lowes. He had a guarantee too....and a week later pink spots showed up on my floor and he kept scheduling follow ups to fix it but never showed. Stanley, however, i have no doubt would have fixed any mistakes...but the thing is there were none. My carpets looked awesome a week later. The pet stains that had vexed me were gone and the house smelled fresh. Maybe other cities suffer from bad Stanley Steamer franchises, but the SS group out of Bartlett are exactly what you would expect out of pro's. I would gladly use them again and again. I had heard stories of phone quotes and actual bills after the service being different. NOT SO with the Bartlett Guys! Zero Surprises and service that exceeded my expectations!

We hired this company to clean our carpets and ceramic tile in preparation for placing our home on the market for sale. They arrived right on time and consulted with me about exactly what services they would perform. They were very professional and up front about how much each service would cost and what the total cost would be. Once we decided on exactly what they would do, they got to work and worked very fast, but efficiently and thoroughly. The ceramic tile in our kitchen was old and the grout had gotten very dirty over the years. After they finished, the tile and carpet looked amazing! I didn't even think either would get that clean. The only problem i noticed was that there were a few tiny chips in the tile after they cleaned it. However, i don't think that could have been avoided due to the age of the tile, and, even with those tiny chips, the tile looked so much better than it had, that I didn't worry about those little chips. The service was expensive, but it was worth the cost - we sold our home in about 5 weeks!

They were quick to respond. They were very good and explaining what they could an could not do. They were efficient and they did a good job. The price was reasonable and they were professional. They also cleaned up very nice and they wore booties on their shoes as well. They charged what they said they would.

It's been a good experience overall. They came out on time, were efficient, and did a good job!

Chris Turner and his assistant Matt did an amazing job on my carpets and rugs. They were prompt, efficient, thorough and professional! My carpet and rugs look wonderful and I will definitely use them again! My daughter uses them too and told me to ask for Chris. He certainly did an excellent job and I am very happy that I now have Chris at Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets whenever I need them. Great prices too!

They are really, really good. I had a fire restoration business and I sub-contracted Stanley Steamer to get soot and other substances out of the carpets. They did an excellent job of getting the soot out of white carpet. I have used them through the years. When I moved into an older apartment I was told that the carpet had been cleaned, but it still had soap and mildew in it. I called Stanley Steamer to come out and clean it. They just do excellent work and get the job done right. If, after they clean your carpet, something comes up like an odor, within ten days, they will come back at no charge and fix the problem. They are punctual, responsive, and professional. I have used them for many years in my fire restoration business, and I would not use anyone else.

They had a coupon in the paper and when I called I asked if they had any specials. She said yes and gave me the price for that. When they came to the house they didn't honor the price; they said that I had to actually have the coupon in my hand. She had told me the price on the phone. They did reimburse me for what the coupon was for but it took a little bit of doing. Also the stretching they did just kind of came back. They were here on time. I would probably use them again because I have always liked them the best of the other carpet cleaners.

They did great while they were here but they moved my large oriental rug so they could clean the carpet underneath, they just did not follow up to stop back in and put my rug back down. They also steam cleaned my patio too.

They did a great job on the carpets.

They were so friendly. They were really big guys but they were so accommodating. They were professional, but really cool people. They did a really good job. They were able to get odors out of the carpet.

We've used the Stanley Steemer franchise located in Bartlett for a number of years to clean the carpets throughout our home on a regular annual basis, and we highly recommend their cleaning services to anyone. Without exception, the two-man crews who have arrived to clean our carpets have always been punctual to the point of being precise, and they are always courteous, professional and extraordinarily competent in their work. The only caveat nowadays is that because they have been stung by a recent rash of bad checks received from more than a few of their residential customers, this franchise will no longer accept personal checks for their services, requiring either full cash or credit card payment at the time their work is completed. Considering the quality of their work, however, this is a minor inconvenience, though we were unaware of this policy change until the most recent Stanley Steemer crew arrived at our home last week (early November 2011) to begin our annual carpet cleaning.

We have used them for over 20 years. The last experience went fine. I think the overall price for the oriental rug was a little high; they charge a dollar per square foot. We spent over $400. I would absolutely use them again but not to clean an oriental rug.

The crew arrived on time, laid down protective covering over the hardwood floors, carefully moved furniture, and proceeded to clean the carpets thoroughly. The upholstered pieces were taken out of doors to the patio to avoid any accidental spillage. These were then steam cleaned after an initial treatment of heavily soiled areas. The crew was very professional and personable and the results were excellent as usual. This is about the fifth or sixth time I have used Stanley Steemer and I would highly recommend them to others.

I don't have any trouble with them. I've used them about three or four times. They are fast when they come in. The last time I used them I didn't like the guy that came out but every other time they've been very polite. He wasn't very friendly. I think he was rude to his coworker. He told me that my carpets were really old which was just a little rude. They do a good job and the carpet does look good afterwards. I have used them three or four times but I don't know if I will use them again. I might check around before I call them again because of that one guy. He's probably not even there anymore but I don't know. I didn't even call to complain to Stanley.

We have nice carpeting but it was very dirty. The two men crew worked fast and the carpeting turned out beautifully clean. I think we got our money's worth from Stanley Steemer and I will be calling on them again for future cleaning.

They did an excellent job. They showed up right on time, were quick and courteous, and their rates were reasonable.

They were very professional. They had good equipment, and I liked the guys that came over. I would recommend them.

Their work was great. He did what he said he was going to do. He came when he said he was going to come. He put everything right back where I wanted it, and there wasn't any hassle involved.
