Mid South Pool Builders

Mid-South designed and built our new gunite pool. We requested estimates from several different companies and found that Mid South's price was comparable to the others, but their design really stood out. David Whitehurst (the owner) suggested a creative approach to our unusually sloped yard. The resulting design was beautiful, much better than any other company's. After we put our deposit down, they moved quickly. They got permitting and initial work done quickly and had gunite poured within 10 days. One huge advantage is that they do almost everything themselves, so you don't have to deal with subcontractors and their inevitable scheduling delays. They had us swimming in less than 2 months. David and June and their staff were quick to respond to any concerns and issues. A section of our gutter was damaged during construction and they fixed it promptly. Any question I had was answered within 24 hours. I cannot say enough about Mid South! We would absolutely use them again and have already recommended them to several friends.

The quality of the work was good. Unfortunately the work done by the electrician was bad. We actually found out we could have been electrocuted! They were responsive, however, and the problem has been addressed. The quality of the pool itself is excellent, and I would be willing to use Mid South again.
