"I actually went above and beyond for this customer as I always do for every customer. We even did extra work for free for her. This is the very first 1-star review I have ever received in my 30 yrs of building a fence professionally. I only have all 5-star reviews......this is because I take care of my customers and they are always happy with the job! Please research me to see if you can find one more bad review on my company. This proves that you can't please every customer. Other fence companies didn't even want to do the job for her. I felt bad for her and took on the job.....now I wish I wouldn't have. I think she just wanted to get a free fence out of me. I would apologize if I did something wrong but everything was build exactly as we discussed and as I mentioned before....we did extra work for free. We made an old fence that she paid another guy $500 dollars to do and he didn't even set the pressure-treated 4x4 posts in cement so the posts were all out of whack and warped. I told Teena she needed to pull the posts out and set new posts....but she wanted to save money and make these ugly warped posts look the best they can. I straightened the posts the best they could be straightened and added concrete to every post. The second part of the job was to cut an opening into a horse feeder so Teena could walk into it the pitch hay in there. I cut the opening into it and welded the sharp openings shut. I added posts next to the horse feeder but needed to tie the horse feeder off to the posts.....I tried to call her to see where she kept the wire but she never answered my phone call so I left her a message to just take a piece of wire and tie off the horse feeder to the posts...I guess she never did it so her horse bumped the feeder out of the way and got out. This isn't my fault. The third part of the job was to add a white horse tape to the 4x4 posts around the arena.....which Teena was supposed to supply but she never bought it before she left town so I couldn't install it. So I fixed another part of her horse pasture instead... Straightening posts and re-stretching wire.....then we for free dug a trench and buried a water pipe that was sticking out of the ground in one of the gate openings in another area so it wouldn't get damaged. We did all this work for $1500 dollars.....which no other professional fence company would've touched for that amount. Plus I offered to come back out if she wasn't happy with something.....I got upset when she was trying to take advantage of me and just ask for my money back. I am glad I get to tell my side of the story! Other contractors out there be aware of doing work for this customer and get everything in writing!"
