Ty and his crew were great! They showed up in time and got our job done in just a few days time. And Ty is SO quick to reply to any messages within a couple hours at most! Highly recommend.

Ty and his crew did an amazing job with our floors! He was patient with us as we had to push the job back several months, but was ready as soon as we were. They were able to match the stain to our original flooring perfectly. We will use Brown’s hardwood flooring again!

We used Ty Brown’s services to install a small portion of hardwood floors, matched them to existing floors and refinished all white oak hardwood floors. We are very happy with results. Ty and his crew were great at all stages of the process. The estimate was fair, communication was straightforward, and Ty sticked to the set timeline. Ty, Louis, and the rest of the crew were responsive to all of our concerns when we pointed to specific areas and they were attentive to details. They were very careful with the walls and baseboard during the process. I can’t say enough praise of Louis. We invited 3 companies to give us an estimate and decided to go with Ty’s company. His estimate was competitive and the main reason we chose his company because we saw his work at our friends’ house. Our friends refinished their floors 4-5 years ago using Ty’s services and we saw the quality of the work and were very impressed with it. Ty and his crew were always on time. They started at 8am and worked until 5-6pm during the installation and sanding process. A portion of our floors was factory-prefinished hardwood with aluminum oxide, which had a bevel. The bevel resulted in grooves in-between the planks and we’ve had dust and small debris accumulating in the grooves all the time. I’ve read about the sanding of aluminum oxide and was worried about this stage. After the sanding, this areas is now smooth and we not longer have grooves between the planks. A section of our floors was ¾ inch lower than the rest of the floors. Ty’s crew demolished the section and installed the new floors to match the existing floors. That part was done to perfection. We no longer have a drop between sections of the house and the old and newly-installed floors have a seamless transition. We kept natural look and didn’t stain the floors and chose satin finish. We love the finish. There was a small problematic section after the initial 3 coats of finish was applied. Ty said they would fix the problem and they did. He wanted to make sure we are happy with the final product and I can definitely say that we are very happy. The floors look amazing and I highly recommend Ty’s services. I would hire Ty's company again.

This was by far the best project that we have completed in our second home on Kiawah Island. We bought our house knowing that we had beautiful wood floors that were covered up by carpet, but that the floors needed some love. Ty and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. Ty is extremely responsive and accommodating. The process of getting the quote and scheduling the work was super simple and Ty kept me updated throughout the project. We got nearly all of the floors in the entire house refinished and stained and I couldn't be happier with the end product!

Wow, it went so much better than I could have imagined. Ty fixed my 1930s wood floors after a previous company came in and all but ruined my floors. I cannot thank Ty enough for making my floors look amazing. I asked a lot of questions during this process and he answered every single one.

My floors were so stained that the other two companies were unsure if they could remove the stains. Mr. Brown said he could get the stains out, "No problem," and he did! The work done by Mr. Brown and his team is phenomenal! The hardwoods have been in place for 30+ years so there was a decent amount of wear on them, along with recent water damage that caused cupping. Ty and his team literally made these floors look brand new! They replaced damaged areas seamlessly and brought the entire downstairs to a smooth, cohesive finish before staining to perfection! They worked very hard, each step of the way, to ensure we were satisfied with the outcome before proceeding to the next step. From the first phone call, Ty was responsive, professional, and accommodating. He was friendly and patient with our questions and concerns and always responded quickly by phone or text. His team was equally professional, always on-time (usually slightly early!), and respected our home and space. We highly recommend Ty Brown and Brown's Hardwood Flooring. His superior expertise and work ethic saved us thousands of dollars by repairing and refinishing our floors when others would have "upsold" an unnecessary replacement. Ty Brown does an excellent job. He was able to repair old heart pine floors downtown, made them look better than new. Most recently, I had him sand and oil my porch floors, they turned out beautiful.
