The earlier reviews I found for Brown’s Hardwood Floors LLC (Ty Brown) sounded too good to be true, but I can attest that they certainly live up to the reputation! We had flooring replaced in our entire home and Ty and his crew are top notch! Floors turned out beautifully, and the job was handled professionally, on time, and in budget. Ty went out of his way to accommodate us and help us make choices to insure we were happy with the finished product. We are thrilled with how the floors turned out, and with the workmanship provided!

Browns Hardwood Floors did a wonderful job installing new hardwood flooring in our kitchen and refinishing and matching old hardwood floors in an adjoining room seamlessly. The floors are beautiful. Mr. Brown was friendly , responsive and prompt. The work was completed very timely and as quoted. He made a stressful project less stressful.

Overall, I was very pleased with the work Ty and his crew did. Ty was very personable as were his crew.. They completed the work agreed-upon in the time they said they would. They did a nice job laying the wood around my fireplace which required special attention. Overall they were pretty conscientious about respecting the property. When I pointed out that they had marked up the wall with the crowbar to remove the baseboard, they happily fixed, whatever needed to be fixed. One thing I wasn’t pleased about was that they were sawing and doing wood cuts on my screened in porch, which left sawdust everywhere. When I pointed it out when they were packing up their things, they did vacuum a little bit, but I had to go behind them and spend an hour with a shopvac vacuuming in between the floor boards, and along the screen and wood crevasses. If I need future flooring needs, I would be sure to call Ty.

It went exceptionally well! Ty Brown and Brown's Hardwood Flooring delivered top-notch craftsmanship, clear communication, and a fantastic finished product. We couldn't be happier with our refinished and replaced hardwood floors. Ty is undoubtedly one of the best in Charleston, SC for hardwood flooring work.

Ty Brown installed a floor in my loft and in a hallway,, As well as stair treads. The quality of the material and his work were perfect. In addition, he completed the work when promised and kept in contact with the contractor that was also doing work in the same area. Ty will be the person I will call for any future hardwood floor needs, whether it be installation or refinishing existing floors.

Contractor scheduled and completed the job as promised. Did not leave to do other jobs. His crew removed carpet & padding; cleaned well before installing the hardwood. Matched existing stain color on 23 year old flooring. Cleaned well after job was complete. Had one issue that was resolved with no drama.

Skilled, professional, punctual and the best experience we have ever had with a contractor! We have old pine downstairs and needed to replace carpet upstairs to match. Due to aging coloration of our old wood it wasn’t an easy task to match the new flooring. They did a phenomenal job and we couldn’t be happier! Ty Brown, Jeff Hall and crew are excellent!

The flooring in our condominium has engineered oak wood which is not readily available. It had an area of damage due to a water leak. Mr. Brown found the correct wood and did a wonderful job of installing and staining the repair wood. You cannot tell that a repair has been done in the area damaged by the water leak. I would highly recommend him for flooring repairs and new flooring installations.

We entrusted Ty Brown from Brown’s Hardwood Floors with our floor refinishing project. Ty and his guys were awesome to work with. The crew was very professional/courteous. Always on time, cleans up after themselves, and most importantly very quality work. The floors look wonderful. Would definitely hire them again for future projects.

We've used Brown's Hardwood Floors twice now for wood floor projects and have been nothing but thrilled with their work each time. First they installed hardwood (replacing carpet) and site finished the flooring in our 2nd floor. Later we had them come and refinish existing hardwood on our main floor. Both times the work was done with high quality and efficiency. We would easily recommend them - and have to many others!

My wife and I were very pleased indeed with the high quality of work Brown’s Hardwood Floors did to refinish a portion of our downstairs wood flooring, They showed up promptly, were meticulous in their floor preparation and did a splendid job of matching the other flooring. Since it was a small job, they moved the furniture from the work area and back again afterwards, and declined to charge me any more for that extra effort. We could not be more pleased.

We recently had our wood floors refinished by Brown's Hardwood Floors. We had an exceptional experience with Mr. Brown and his team. The workers we came in contact with were courteous and arrived on time. The cost was reasonable, the work was outstanding, and you could not tell they had ever been here when they were finished. Excellent experience with Brown’s Hardward Flooring. Everything was done with the utmost professionalism from beginning to end. Mr. Brown responds to communications quickly and is very easy to work with. All work was done when he said it would be - the team was very prompt. The work was impeccable (Mr. Brown is very picky and wants to make sure that the customer is 100% happy). We had them refinish our oak floors (dining room, living room, stairs, hall) in 2016 and we were so pleased that we contacted them again. This job (bedroom) was done just as well, and the stain and finish matched the previous work perfectly. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Brown’s Hardwood Floors did a fantastic job refinishing my scratched and aged hardwood floors. They started the job when they said they would and finished within three days. There was minimal dust and I was able to get back into my house in four days. I would certainly use Brown’s again if I decide to remove carpet from my bedrooms and add hardwood flooring.
