The Master Bedroom project permit was pulled on November 11 and Mom moved in on January 20th. This work included gutting old living room, new foundation for bathroom, closet and front porch. Precision Carpentry allowed us to pick out all the fixtures and major components. The quality was above what I expected, timing met our schedule and cost was right on target.

A late summer storm revealed we had a leak in our large 2nd story window. We had asked for quotes but then Hurricane Florence was approaching. I contacted Precision Carpentry and they were able to order and install the new window just in time before the storm was to hit our area. Again they were professional, considerate of our concern of the impending storm , and the price has always been reasonable and finishing work superb. I have nothing bad to say about Precision Carpentry and the job they did for our complete master bath renovation. It was gutted completely, plumping and electricity moved and rewired. They were patient as I changed shower size two times and cabinet styles as well. Which by the way cabinets were all custom made. All tile was done professionally, and painting was superb. All plumbing and carpentry is solid. All the employees ar We’re on time, professional, trustworthy and friendly. The work area was always cleaned up at the end of the day. We will use them again. Very happy with the work. We recently remodeled our master bath, and our guest bath, as well as our laundry closet. Total redo, Charlie and Mike and Paul and crew ripped out our old 1980's Era bathrooms down to the joists, and we redid everything from all new fixtures, as well as new ceiling, window and most importantly a nice ceramic tile floor, which we are thrilled with! Paul handled the painting and was a fun guy to talk with, and Mike handled most of the carpentry, and is one of the nicest guys I've met in a while. Everyone was aware that we were expecting and were very conscious to work with our schedule (when it could be done), we were impressed at their cleanliness and especially with the thoroughness, which i very much appreciated after I had previously considered some low-ball offers from a few other companies, so I am glad that I chose quality over everything, because that's what I got and that is the best investment. We have nice ceramic tile floors, with a new shower replacing the tub, a new toliet, pedestal sink, mirror, and a cabinet vanity/medicine cabinet over the toliet on the wall. Also new fan light over the shower, ceiling light and over the sink light. Also we replaced the old wood paned windows with 1 panel crank out style windows, which are my second favorite features after the floors. The laundry closet also had new floor, new sliding doors, and new shelving and paint. The guest bathroom also got all new fixtures with a custom vanity with quartz countertop, 3 section mirrored medicine cabinet and side mirrored walls, also new window, toliet, shower and built in shelving over the toliet. I am planning on using Charlie again for a new metal roof we are planning, and also eventually the kitchen once we are ready. Overall I'm glad we found precision, they were referred to us by a friend that we've known now for about 10 years and whose opinion on this sort of stuff we trust. Charlie did not disappoint, and I'm glad we have his number. We did quite an over haul, and we spent the money that was necessary. Our house has been getting ready for our new child, and so we were concurrently ripping our original shag carpeting and replacing it with hardwoods. I did the flooring myself (part passion-project, part economic decision). My best way of judging a contractor (we own a restaurant, so we've dealt with alot) is to consider if I felt like I got my money's worth. The answer is yes. Charlie itemized pretty much everything for us before we started and we stayed on budget the whole way through, which never happens(!) So, when it does, it's so refreshing! I was home for a good deal of the work every morning and I really got a chance to see how detailed they were. I saw that they don't shortcut, even of it takes a little longer, it's worth it. Mike, as I mentioned before has definitely got alot of integrity, and I feel like we added a lot of value to our house. I think Precision is a great company to go with for any homeowner. Professional, detailed and nice.

The project went well. We were able to complete the majority of the work within a week and were able to add the installation of a new floor in the master closet before the closet cabinets and shelves went in. I was very happy with how all the work turned out and will recommend Charlie's team ot anyone.

Precision Carpentry & Plumbing was very responsive when I contacted them to change my hot water heater & a leak i had under my house. They showed up the next morning and finished the job the same day. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone doing a remodel or any plumbing issue. In fact they will be doing an addition to my home next month.

I called Precision after noticing some evidence of water intrusion. They came out and accessed the issue (incorrect installation of siding/gutters) and provided me a quote within about a week. Rather than get multiple quotes like usual, I chose to deal exclusively with Precision because I needed someone I trusted in and around my home without my supervision. They came out and tarped the area before Hurricane Flo and then started a week after. Throughout the duration (2.5 days) I never saw them because of my schedule, but they kept me updated and let me know what they would be doing and how the process went. Everything was cleaned up (everyday) and finished beautifully. They were responsive to all of my questions and concerns. You get what you pay for, and with Precision that means quality and peace of mind. As a past construction manager who had to relinquish control for the first time, that was unexpected and invaluable.

They did a great job on our bathroom and they also did some of the work on our remodeled kitchen. Great folks to work with.

I spoke with Charlie in late 2017. It took a while to actually hear buck but I finally got a followup call from his estimator, Joedy, in February. Joedy provided a solid estimate for windows and siding. Between my travel schedule and Charlie's previously scheduled jobs, we finally managed to get the project going in late April. The weather initially was not bad but then turned stormy, followed by scorching heat. Charlie's crew worked diligently through the entire period. Materials and work quality were excellent. Daily cleanup was quite good. The team was respectful and the lead carpenter, Kevin, kept things moving forward and provided some excellent tweaks to planned efforts to improve drainage from gutters and downspouts. In summary, it took a while to get it done, but the final project was top quality and looks great.

Precision Carpentry and Plumbing has done many large remodeling jobs for me over the past 7 years, and I've always been pleased with the outcome. I called them 2 days ago with this small job - replacing my garbage disposal - and they put me on the schedule the very next day. They said they would be here the first thing in the morning, and they were. They did the installation quickly and cleaned up after the job was done. And the price was reasonable. Precision is my go-to company for all home repairs and remodels. I highly recommend them.

We honestly enjoyed working with Charlie and his staff. After receiving 3 bids, we chose him because he was more detailed in his estimate and explanation of the work ahead. Once we started the project, every single time I called him, he answered his phone. No one can say there were zero bumps in the road, with any contractor or large project, but I can say that each time I had a question or concern, he took care of it immediately. The cabinets themselves are amazing. We had priced mdf cabinets from Costco, but through Charlie's cabinet maker, Mike, we got solid wood, soft close, full-custom gorgeous cabinets installed for less money than the mdf ones would be just to have delivered. Both Charlie and Mike were very helpful in the design and layout of the kitchen and always listened to my ideas as well. His electrician was also very helpful in designing the lighting layout. We had to have some repairs and reinforcements in the crawlspace, and his staff always took before and after pictures so we were assured that the work was necessary and completed without having to get down into the crawlspace ourselves. We will definitely hire Precision Carpentry again when it comes time to remodel our bathrooms. I'm attaching pictures. The painting (walls and trim) is not complete as we are doing it ourselves and taking our time. What is pictured is just primer on the new drywall.

I have hired Precision Carpentry & Plumbing for 95% of my home care and home improvement needs for 16 years. This includes a remodel in the bathroom, plumbing repair, hot water heater replacement, re-roofing, and most recently a major upgrade to the den--removing a wall between the kitchen and den, replacing all wood molding, and repairing and prepping plaster walls and ceiling. I've never been less than completely satisfied with their work and am often amazed by their attention to detail and craftmanship. Highly recommend!

Charlie and his team were nothing short of AMAZING! He came at a terrible time crunch when we were pressed for closing and fixed all the mistakes Rock House Builder's made ( he left mid-job) along with finishing the work super-professionally, on time and at a fair price! This guy is as good as Gold!

Charlie was very helpful in evaluating my hot water problems and making a recommendation. Both water heaters were old and we were running out of hot water to quickly. I decided to replace both and Charlie gave me an estimate. His brother Mike did most of the work and discovered that the water heaters were independently serving different areas of the house. He rerouted the pipes so that the two water heaters are linked and now provide service to all areas of the house. No running out of hot water when the grand-kids visit! Charlie and his team have done a number of jobs for me and they do a great job. I know I can count on him to get it right and followup as needed.

The job went very well. The work started when promised and was almost finished on plan despite some difficulties dealing with the permit office. The quality of work was excellent. We called them back once on a very minor issue - otherwise all is good. The guys were responsive when we needed them and changes to plan were managed without complaint. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

I called Charlie almost a year ago to ask a very vague question about building a tiny home in our back yard versus an addition. He pulled up an image of our house on google maps right then and there and gave me his professional opinion, which ended up matching that of 3 or 4 more professionals who ended up visiting our house in person. So when it came time to expand our kitchen - something we had wanted to do since we moved into the house in September 2016, I called Charlie again. Although he was swamped at the time, his estimate was good, and I trusted his input. Charlie and his crew were all very friendly and accommodating. They came early in the morning and left around 3pm. And since we were staying in the house during the renovation, they always left the work site as tidy as possible so we could use our kitchen throughout the process. We opted to buy and build our own IKEA island, and Charlie's crew did a great job of helping us integrate it seamlessly into the work they were doing. The total cost ended up being about $1500 or 20% more than expected, but part of that was due to add-ons that we decided we needed along the way, and the rest was unforeseen issues. And as usual, things took a little longer than Charlie or we would have liked, but we always felt like we were in the loop with Charlie and his crew and never felt like they dropped the ball through the entire process. We are still toying with the idea of adding on to our house and when the time comes, we certainly hope to work with Charlie again! We ordered an island top separately from Charlie's crew, so that is why we don't have pictures of that yet.

Work went as planned to blue print. They were very easy to work with even with the minor changes we had along the way. The crew was very friendly and cordial, which is key and appreciated when you have a construction zone in the middle of a busy warehouse operation. We were very pleased with the whole process and finished product.

I am extremely impressed by the efficiency, professionalism, and quality of the work done by every member of the team on this company. Every question or concern I had was answered right away and alternatives given to the original estimate. Everything went very smoothly from the first appointment to the last. This company's workers were very conscientious about putting down drop cloths to protect my hardwood floors, and cleaning up after themselves after they finished their jobs. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality was evident by their work habits and the finished product. Very friendly and genuine people. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone considering remodeling/renovation work.

Perfect and quick. Precision Carpentry came on time, safely supported the structure while the new support column was replaced and restored the fascia, trim and handrails perfectly during the 1st visit in much less time than I expected.
