Description of Work: I have used Howell Door Co. before for one of my garage doors and I had a great experience, so when the cables on my garage door snapped I called them and left with my information and details about my problem, also mentioning that I have used them before. They never called me back, so I ended up contacting another company to have my problem fixed.

He gave me a lot of information about the company and about what to expect and what he thought about the situation of putting in the doors. He came over and did it all in one day and it was great. He showed me how to use all the equipment that came with it because I got the openers too. I was very pleased with them. Their pricing was fine as far as I was concerned; I was very happy with what I got because it was worth it. They had a guarantee on the doors; they were insulated, and they were wonderful. I had a situation with asbestos and when this gentleman came over he said it wasn’t necessary to wrap things up in plastic because there wouldn’t be any dust or any problems with that, and I was very impressed with that because he was right and there was no dust. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Ask and/or check their website for discounts not listed on Angie's List. I got 10% off for liking them on Facebook.

Description of Work: Our garage door spring broke and we could not lift the door manually. Howell Door responded the same day I called them and installed a temporary spring while they ordered the correct one for our door. They came back within a few days and installed new springs and tweaked a few things on our aging door. They gave a window of arrival time and even called 10 min out to say when they would be arriving. The service guy was friendly and knowledgable and everything seems to be working well. We have not received a bill yet.

They confirmed that garage door openers still worked properly, even having to adjust a loose wire in one of the two. Workers were very friendly & courteous. Experience calling to get estimate & then setup appointment was very pleasant. Work was completed as quoted, and I was charged the agreed-upon price.

They reattached the openers, which I thought was really good. Their price was the least expensive for the best quality.
