Description of Work: Kangaroo Plumbing was outstanding. He quickly zeroed in on the issue. There was a small gas leak and recommended upgrade our previously repaired gas line to newer technology. He upgraded with flexible, spark resistant piping and had the system back up in no time.

Description of Work: John was amazing!!! we were in a contract to by a house that the Structural Inspector said had work that was not remodeled to code. We were under a deadline and John came out the next day and a day later had a detailed proposal for us of what it would take to bring the plumbing up to code.He made sure we realized exactly what we would be in for time wise and cost if we went ahead with this purchase. He also was honest about things that were not up to code, but would not cause issues and were better left alone. In the end we did not purchase this home and purchased another home that did not have any of these issues. John's honesty and straight talk saved us!!! I was happy to pay him for his time and feel that it was money well spent!!

Description of Work: We needed a new toilet or to have the old one rebuilt. John estimated the costs of both services, explained the pros and cons, and left the decision to us. We opted to get a new toilet. John recommended a great brand, and we're very happy with it. He came to our house and installed it on very short notice. Great job, as usual!

Description of Work: ---replaced leaking expansion tank ---re-charged same for 75psi ---replaced faulty pressure relief valve on water heater ---replace "no burst" water connection to second floor toilet and installed chromed copper connector.

Description of Work: I needed a water heater in a hurry. I called Kangaroo plumbing and left a voice mail. I was called back promptly with the very reasonable and professional bad news that they were overbooked and that it might be a couple of days before the work could be done. Kangaroo plumbing then spent several minutes providing helpful advice as well as a referral. I was very impressed at the professional attitude and helpful demeanor.

Description of Work: John came out to give an estimate for plumbing a washer, venting a dryer. He was friendly, clearly knowledgeable. However, his estimate was $2300 -- we ended up having the work done by another plumber for $850. John's estimate included "rehashing" a number of existing plumbing lines, to move them out of the way for the new lines. The other plumber was able to run the new lines directly without moving the existing lines. After this Angie's list rating appeared, John called to tell me he'd be contacting the local plumbing inspector to see if the other plumber's work was properly permitted, for my protection.

Description of Work: Kangaroo Plumbing. did an exhaustive search for water leak(s) --including 4 toilets and assorted valves--that seemed to be causing 50+% increases in my water bill. except for a possibly leaking toilet, k could not find anything definitive after a search that cost $450. k discounted the search charge to $250. later, k searched for a replacement flush valve for the suspect toilet, and installed new flush and flapper valves in it at 1/2 the usual charge. A+ for effort but no kewpie doll.

Description of Work: HE WAS TOO CUT PIPES AND SEAL THEM. WHILE I THOUGHT HE HAD SEALED THE PIPES, A DAY AFTER HE CAME, I NOTICED THERE WAS WATER DRIPPING INTO OUR LIVING ROOM FROM THE CUT OFF BATHROOM PIPES. WE HAD TO CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER TO SEAL THE PIPES AND WE HAVE WATER DAMAGE FROM HIS LACK OF WORK.
