"It was a pleasure to meet you the other night, and I'm sorry that we weren't on the same page with regard to the size of the project. I just want to clarify that it may not be fair to say we were "extremely expensive" because we never actually provided you with an estimate. We just talked about your project goals and budget, which are very reasonable, unfortunately not a great fit for what PRC does. Our projects typically include full demolition to the studs and joists, all the way through cabinetry and tile work. It's usually the progression of multiple phases of work that contribute to overall cost, rather than the size of the space. Once again, I'm sorry that we weren't on the same page and I wish you the best of luck with your project."
"I'm sorry to hear about your experience, but I suspect a misunderstanding here. We don't have a showroom and all initial client meetings take place in the client's home. More detailed contact information can be found on our website. I think you may have confused us with another company, but I'd be happy to talk to you if you'd like. My direct number is 412-874-0307."
We called 3/22/13 and was routed to Ryan whose voice message said to leave a detailed message and he would get back to us in 4 to 6 weeks. We pretty much wrote them off at this point but Ryan actually called back the next working day (25th) and emailed us a form to fill out so they would know what we were looking for in general. We reviewed the form and e-mailed him back on 3/30/2013.
As of 9/30/2013 we have not heard from these guys. And naturally they will never be hearing from us again.
"Hi Customer, My name is Rob Schwerdt and I'm the owner of Pittsburgh Remodeling Company. I'm sorry about your experience, it sounds frustrating, however I have no record of you ever calling or leaving a message. I'm generally the person to respond to all inquiries, and I'm certain that I never received one (let alone four) messages from you. Our current voice mail message instructs potential clients to reach out to us via email for a more timely response, and I've never received an email from you either. You're welcome to email me directly at [email protected] if you would like to set up an estimate. If you prefer speaking over the phone, please make sure you're calling 412-874-0307. I would be happy to speak with you anytime, and happy holidays. Sincerely, Rob Schwerdt"
"Thank you for your review. Your project was a pleasure to work on and you guys are among the nicest people I've ever worked with. Thank you."
