They did not clean the thermocouple, inspect the heat exchanger, or do anything necessary for an older furnace. When I called them back to determine why there was no heat they declined to look at it.

The service provider showed up on the scheduled day and time and got to work immediately. He cleaned and checked the furnace for proper operation along with the thermostat. He assessed the furnace to be in good shape and gave me some tips for maintaining the unit in the future.

I am extremely pleased with my initial experience with the folks at JRB Heating & Cooling, including the staff member who scheduled the appointment (Karen) and the individual who performed the work (Jeff). I found them to be friendly, accommodating and absolutely professional. Jeff was punctual, had the work done quickly and efficiently, and answered all of my questions honestly and satisfactorily. He brought a couple of potential issues to my attention, but without any pressure to make an on-the-spot decision. I would recommend JRB Heating & Cooling without hesitation! Very positive experience.

We used the Angie's List coupon, which was a great deal. The technician was very nice and professional. The only thing I was a little unsure about was that he couldn't really diagnose a sound that was coming from one of the boilers. Granted, it wasn't making that sound when he was there. I did have a recording of it and it seemed pretty distinctive. He definitely had a good guess for what it was and suggested that until the part actually broke that it wasn't necessary or worth addressing. I just wish I could have had a little more confidence in diagnosing it, but it's very possible that there was no way to do that.

This is the first time that I used JRB Heating and Cooling. I was very impressed by the technician, Jake. He was very professional and couldn't have been nicer. Jake was on time, called a half hour before arrival, and was very personable. It was refreshing to have the work done efficiently, professionally and with a pleasant attitude. I will definitely use JRB for service next year.

The technician was on time and did a thorough examination and cleaning of the furnace. He pointed out a part the was reaching the end of it's use and was very pleasant.

I have been using JRB for several years. They are easy to schedule, always on time, and Jake the technician is always very pleasant.

When they called to make an appointment I explained that there was an issue with my furnace. They advised that there was a charge for a diagnostic service and mentioned that there was a coupon on angie's list. They moved up my original appointment date two weeks. Everyone I have dealt with from the woman who answered the phone to the man who came to my house to perform the work has been very professional and nice.

JRB provided a team of 3 workers that very efficiently removed the old and installed the new systems. All of the workers displayed professionalism, answered all of my questions, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing giving me a high level of confidence that the system would be installed correctly. Pricing was very fair. I will use JRB for all of my HV&C needs.

The technician arrived on time, was polite and professional, performed the furnace tuneup, including checking out my humidifier. The technician recommended that I change the humidifier filter now (and annually). He did not have the required filter with him but we scheduled for him to come back after he obtains the filter. The technician also cleaned my furnace from residue from the humidifier and advised me lower the humidity a few points if I saw condensation forming to avoid this problem in the future. In addition the technician advised me that I did not need the furnace filter changed now but to change it at the end of October and every 2 months thereafter. The technician gave me a brochure on their furnace and air conditioning maintenance program, which I may do. The furnace and air conditioner need their annual maintenance anyway and as their service was outstanding I think I should stick with proven service and not shop for this service every year. The price for the contract is reasonable and the service was outstanding.
